Nice review. But there is a way to keep your bottle from flopping around. There is a grey strap from the same compartment that you can use to secure the water bottle.
Thanks Erick. You are correct, but still that doesn't secure the bottle as much as I would like to. Especially when you are running or you have a heavy bottle that strap isn't working out that well unfortunately.
One thing that’d stop them making the quick access compartment RFID protected is that that’d mean that if you put a phone in there it’d block signals (both phone and BT for headphones/smart watch).
Bo Ismono true, it looked too small for my phone but would work for most. Perhaps making the RFID thing a removable lining you could attach to the bag would be more practical than just a loose wrapper.
No link to actual product :( Also, anyone else feel like the circle (logo?) at the front looks like a power button/loading symbol?! Nonetheless, clean/concise video once again!
Thanks, mate. But I never include links. Please read the description on why I don't include them ;-) And yes, it looks like a power button haha. Keep up the great work on your channel. Although our channels are quite different, maybe we can collab some time in the future and find an overlapping topic ;-) Cheers!
Ah, I will be completely honest and admit I never read descriptions, I only ever skim for a link, but totally get where you're coming from. I just link to my majority demo or I use Genius Link which might be of interest if you ever get into affiliate links! Definitely, I'm totally down for that. I've been eyeing bag reviews as well but haven't found a formula that works yet. I'm trying to transition into EDC more as well, so there's definitely something we can collab on. Hit me up on twitter @excessorizeme or shoot me an email hello@excessorize.me whenever you have a moment to talk ideas!
Great review, like always. I was wondering: what big bag (like 40/50 lt) do you think is the best to have your laptop handy? I leave in the south of Italy, but once a month I have to go to Rome by train. It's a 6 hours ride, and I need to have with me the laptop, water, my charger and maybe a book. I'd like to use only one big bag (I have a Roncato trolley and I'm about to buy a Quechua trekking bag) but I always end up with also a small backpack (my North Face Vault) for all of this items. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Federica. Oh wow. 40 to 50L is a vey big bag. I haven't tested any backpacks in that range. But I'm not sure if they are still carry on compliant.
Hi Bo. I just came across your channel. I am looking for an everyday back pack that fits a laptop, tablet, lunch box or two, a jacket, a towel, a bottle, tech gears, USB charger, breathable back, TSA lock and wire lock. Quick access is very important. Do you recommend any bag? I am worried about the breathability of the backpack since I will be using it regularly and it gets very hot in Sydney during summer. My biggest worry is how I have to lay the backpack down to access my things, which is impractical. Could you please advise if you have any backpack in mind that fits my needs? Also, you said in the video that you are a huge advocate of packing modular with pouches and cubes? Do you have any brand in mind?
Great review! I bought the secrid wallet based on your review and I am super happy :). If I may add something though, the bottle case is actually advertised as an umbrella case (which does make more sense) on their website. Keep up the good work!
Nice review, I'd love to see your review of Vandra backpack... seems like there is not much information about it but looks like it could be quite nice pack.
Hi Bo! Love your videos! Thanks for the great review :) Most of the backpacks you review are too expensive for my current needs but when I decide to get a high-end item, I'll take your recommendation. Also, I love the sweatshirt in the begging of the video, can you tell me which one that is? Thanks!
Hey, thanks for the review! I just loved how you explained everything about the backpack. It helped me decide whether I wanted to purchase this item or not. I’m still shopping around for the best backpack that’s rfid protected, slash proof, water proof and anti theft. I don’t want to have the buyers remorse. We’re gonna travel to Europe in a month. So I need a very reliable and durable backpack to take with. Any suggestions?
Great video as always, Bo. Exactly my thoughts on this new anti-theft line of bags. Too much compartmentalization and not that much space. Maybe I tend to carry too many things!
Thank you very much. Do you know the feeling when you are looking for a word, it's in the back of your head but you just can't think of it? When I wrote the script for this video I was looking for the word "compartmentalization" haha. Thanks for reminding me. Next time I will definitely think of it. And I'm with you: I also tend to carry too much ;-) Cheers, mate!
You're right, but even with that clip it does flop around quite a bit. Obviously it depends on the size of the bottle, but Imho this bottle holder is not ideal.
well thanks a lot... i actually watch your channel now as I'm currently looking for good travel bag.. any recommended backpacks? what about bobby bizz?? ( oh and I did subscribe)
I love your videos! You should really check out the Nomatic Travel Pack. I have one and so far it is the best bag I have owned, but I'd be super interested in your thoughts! Keep it up, look forward to more videos. :)
The problem with this product is it lacks shape and form. Internal bracing is minimal to nonexistent, so it just flops all over the place. I'm hoping the updated X fixes this.
you should really consider being a design consultant or even design your own bag. you already have reviewed many bags and have a professional opinion about bag options that are useful. Consider a career move into consultations to bag producers. just a suggestion.....in my opinion you are great a looking at the bag from a different prospective.
Thank you very much, Marty. One day I want to have a "Bo Ismono Edition" of an existing or new bag. That would be awesome. But designing a bag from the ground up is very hard, so modifing a bag would be probably better for me. Let's see how far this channel will get 2018. At 100K subs a company might be willing to give me a shot ;-)
Saw one of these in store. IMHO, the materials didn't justify the price tag... too much "show", not enough substance. Skipped. Thanks for another great review. :)

One thing that’d stop them making the quick access compartment RFID protected is that that’d mean that if you put a phone in there it’d block signals (both phone and BT for headphones/smart watch).
+Mark Brown agreed but there is also the pocket in the shoulder strap. So that would be also a great place for the RFID protection
Bo Ismono true, it looked too small for my phone but would work for most. Perhaps making the RFID thing a removable lining you could attach to the bag would be more practical than just a loose wrapper.
How can I buy this bag???

Awesome, I'll send you an email ;-)
Yeah that circle logo does look like a power button.
You are one of the best backpack reviewers I ever seen! :) deserve more subscribers dude
Thank you very much. That is quite flattering!
At the 1:44 mark, he was wrong about that water bottle holder, there's a stabilizer strap he missed..
Morgando. I did not miss it. It just doesn't stabilize it enough. Even with the strap the bottle flops around when you are walking

Where can I buy that backpack and can you send a link to it please.
Nice review, I just received on and this video gave me a better understanding of the functionality than that of the kickstarter page.
Thanks, Christoff. So how do you like the bag so far?
It is work appropriate but not really travel appropriate due to the size and measure.
Agreed
Nice review, I'd love to see your review of Vandra backpack... seems like there is not much information about it but looks like it could be quite nice pack.
Dude. That water bottle holder has a strap stabilizer. Ive seen it in other videos.
Yes, it does. It still wobbles around like crazy when you walk
What 60% keyboard is that in the vid?
That's the Vortex Poker3 keyboard with custom keycaps ;-)
Amazing review as always, was also wondering if you started trying out the DayPac yet, if so how is it so far?
Thanks, mate. I haven't started it yet. But I will do it soon.
Bo Ismono Nice! Thanks and keep up the excellent work as always!
Were do I get this bag can u plzz tell me

Also, I love the sweatshirt in the begging of the video, can you tell me which one that is? Thanks!
Thank you very much, Vaibhav. I bought the Sweatshirt from Pull and Bear a couple of years back. I'm not sure if it is still available
Hi can you review the KUWOW backpack please thanks
Hey, thanks for the review! I just loved how you explained everything about the backpack. It helped me decide whether I wanted to purchase this item or not. I’m still shopping around for the best backpack that’s rfid protected, slash proof, water proof and anti theft. I don’t want to have the buyers remorse. We’re gonna travel to Europe in a month. Could you please tell us what you ended up buying? I am shopping now for one.
Love this review ! Could you test the allpa 35L from cotopaxi ?
Thank you very much, Ivy! I haven't heard of the Allpa, but I will google it.
Very good review! You offer some great improvements.
I would also add that it is not for students due to its very small capacity.
Thank you very much! Agreed on the space
what do u think of bobby bag vs clickpro? tq
I haven't tested the Bobby yet. But from the outside they do look quite similar. And I personally am not a big fan of the look to be honest.
Ismono what a type/model of your coloured keyboard?
Hey Thiago,
That's a Vortex Poker3 Keyboard with custom keycaps for editing.
Can u review the brown buffalo conceal pack?
Hey Arnold,
That one is on my wishlist. I think Chase Reeves reviewed that one if I am not mistaken
Bo Ismono yeah he is, but i want to hear your side of review.thanks
Great video as always, Bo. Exactly my thoughts on this new anti-theft line of bags. Too much compartmentalization and not that much space. Maybe I tend to carry too many things!

And I'm with you: I also tend to carry too much ;-)
Cheers, mate!
However, I think it has some differences with the famous Bobby and its many replicas.
Agreed ;-)
I think it would be better if they used MOLLE instead of velcro and made all internal pockets detachable. Then it could compete with GR1
Agreed in terms of functionality. But in terms of looks and styling molle would be totally out of place. They just should have used better velcro imho
I forgot write down about TSA lock, it would be better of the lock was hidden so it could be less noticeable
Is there a Bo ismono brand?...I believe you should start your business..!
How can buy
Noo the bottle is not useless at all.. there is a clip where you can hook around
Thank you very much. What kind of travelbag are you searching for? A checkin bag? or rather a one bag carry on solution?
I love your videos! You should really check out the Nomatic Travel Pack. I have one and so far it is the best bag I have owned, but I'd be super interested in your thoughts! Keep it up, look forward to more videos. :)
Thank you very much! The Nomatic is on my wishlist. I hope I can review it in the future
Why don't you ever review Peak Design bags? Too popular I guess?
+Hendry Chen they are on my wishlist, but I haven't had the chance to test one yet. Hopefully in 2018 😉
1:51 you use the book to close it
The problem with this product is it lacks shape and form. Internal bracing is minimal to nonexistent, so it just flops all over the place. I'm hoping the updated X fixes this.
Great video as always! Thanks.
Thank you very much!
There is also a hidden key fob in front!
True ;-)
So.... what is better?? 🤷♀️ i almost buy it.
Price in india?
you, too picky? nahhhhh...lol. they made a nice effort. poor execution(over execution?). thanks for sharing.
Thanks, mate. Over execution seems like a proper description ;-) Thanks for watching
