Wonder if they will (in addition to the external barrel roof lighting) have some blue lighting on the inside of the barrel? The barrel roofing has many holes in it for light to shine through. I think that would look incredible. Also....I wonder if the lighting colours are changeable (so you could customise the lighting for different events, Rugby, boxing, music, UEFA finals)? So say they held a EUROPA Cup Final there and you had say Dortmund and Valencia playing the west of the barrel cladding could be lit up yellow, and the east orange.
I'm guessing that the mood light's will be pointed upwards to create a more diluted criss cross effect on the barrel cladding when they add the finishing touches... As opposed to the blue blobs we see currently... 🤔 Great coverage of the build, thanks for all of your effort 👍
Definitely won't be staying the way it is, too harsh, they're just testing everything before they finish the build... British gas and solar panels would be an odd mix 🙈😂👍 @@stephenlinden-wyatt-ys8vy
If they were doing that then I'm surprised they didn't angle them that way to start with. Makes no sense having to send people back up again to move every light if that indeed is the plan. I personally think this is the way they've planned it and they have no plans to change.
@@JayEFC1969 if you look closely they are not uniform as they are, the light fittings are fully adjustable so won't be an issue... They are saving all the finishing touches for completion...
Seems to be a lot of remarks from our lovable freinds of a red persuasion in the comments, envy is such a bad look on you all ! Cant you just be happy with what you,ve got in Mordor 😊
@cp-overview I don't know about pointless mate haha. Have you ever been along the waterfront between December & March it's ridiculously cold with the wind coming off the sea. Don't forget all the millions of holes they've put in the barrel cladding as well to allow the wind to pass through. I wouldn't fancy being a fan down there during them months.
@@rosse6705 the barrel cladding is well above where you sit so won’t make any difference. What I mean by pointless is that virtually zero games get called off these days in England because of the weather , under pitch heating takes care of that.

Real football stadium. Eveything is good but we need football to be sport again where the best win and not those who have the most money. FIFA AND UEFA ban transfers to foreign clubs or ban transfers of players before the age of at least 25. We won't pay you to win football, we want football in every country, otherwise football will die in the rest of the world. This idiocy with billions in the budgets of the biggest clubs is not what we want to watch year after year. The Champions League is not interesting to anyone except the fans of a couple of European clubs who are competing to pay the players more money.

is it true the Club arent allowed any major signage at the stadium?.....
Yes
yea, paula.. turned out... no one in d'club could spell.. trophy.. well.. 🙃🙃
whats the row of seats behind the tv gantry for??
Will that flat roof under the barrel cladding be painted ? Just a thought !
Yea
👍
Presume the roof can close over to make it indoor?
I hope not. Weather is part of sport. Indoor arenas are for children and Americans.
@@Dontbeasheep33 No it doesn’t, would of added millions to the cost of the build for something that is pointless
