SSBM Falco Adventure Mode (Very Hard & Giga Bowser)

Alright its been a good while since i recorded and ive been practicing melee alot more and i did very hard classic mode with falco and people requested i do adventure mode so here it is!
Ive done multiple segemented runs, on a real time console, to find the best way to run through adventure mode. This was easily my best run so far so even though i used a continue i decided to upload it, but i died on the most foolish things as you will soon see. Over all it was still a good run, so i hope you guys enjoy!
P.S I have it in japanese because falco talks in japanese, no i dont understand what he says but it sounds cool, so yeah.

You know you could fight Giant Kirby too if you defeat the Kirby team in less than a minute and on the first level of adventure mode if you touch the flag with 2 seconds left like let's say 4:52 seconds you can fight Luigi and Peach instead of Mario and Peach.

How do you delay the shines. I can only do hard with like 3 or 4 lives no continues. Nice gameplay btw.
@2:25-- epic the way both Mario and Peach are KO'd at basically the same exact second.
When I said delay the shines I ment shine cancelling. I had melee a few months ago but I sold it and got brawl. A few weeks later I started to regret it. Man I want melee back so badly.

Not really sure what you mean by "Delay shines". If you mean waveshining and shine cancel, wavedashing is a little complicated and hard. Shine canceling is you shine, then jump RIGHT after out of it..

Now that i play WII U and brawl, it reminds me my childhood too see this kind of speedrun! Melee, where mewtwo was free... It's surprising how fight are way way way faster than the other, i mean, u don't "fly" when u jump xD god, i really need to play melle now... Nice work tho, even with continue it's rly hard, so gg
I stopped at continue....always wanted to see someone beat adventure on very hard without continuing

One thing I don't like about Brawl is that the colors look very dark and muggy. It's like Mario smeared his overalls with mud.
I mean like in melee, you can wavedash, waveshine, l cancel and moonwalk. You can't do those 4 things at all in brawl.

Melee is a stiff broken game, that's why it's so hard.

In very hard difficulty u KO'd bowser at 290% and u KO'd giga bowser at 503%. That is difficult to kill him in very hard difficulty!
I've never been able to get to giga bowser on very hard mode, no matter how hard I tried.

I used to live off brawl, but once you go to melee and start playing it for tourneys,
you come to dislike brawl, atleast in my case. Its not a bad game its just that floaty physics are shit.
Can someone clarify if, or if not, you can use a Continue and STILL fight Giga Bowser? Some people say you can't, but in this video, it's happened... so can someone tell me if or if not I can use a continue?
I think because i used it at the end while fighting him it doesnt matter. im not too sure to be honest

You actually can, did it more than once on Hard with Bowser, since for me it's the only character I can use to clear all stages quick enough. As long as you don't exceed 18 minutes total time on all stages, you'd be ok.
If I remember correctly, as long as you don't use a continue prior to that fight and get to that stage in that certain amount of time (In the case of Adventure mode, 18 minutes), you can still fight Giga Bowser (The difficulty has to be set to normal or higher). Same idea with Classic mode, when it comes to fighting Crazy Hand.

TheTang225 I always restart with the amount of lives i started with. So you're saying this run was a single go, or was it two separate runs that you edited together?? Cus it seems like two

TheTang225 Yup i'm sure, the japanese version probably is less forgiving lol. Anyways i thought you were going all the way without restartingthat run until i saw the metal bros challenge. If u bait them off the ledge mario will suicide w/ f air spike but u have to avoid him to avoid getting spiked, luigi might also go for a foolish kill and suicide. or just grab close to edge and f throw :D
