  • Bronchiolitis is a viral chest infection usually caused by the
    respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). It is usually a winter virus and it affects the small airways of the lung (the bronchioles). It is a very common condition in babies under the age of 12 months - nearly 1in 3 babies develop it. Most affected babies are not seriously ill and make a full recovery. Sometimes it becomes more serious and hospital care may be needed. Babies at an increased risk include: Premature babies, babies with heart conditions and babies who already have a lung condition.

    Does pulmonary fibrosis damaged both of them or one lung?
