    They need to put the Force arranger mode in the MPC Keys

      Force arranger is repurposed from the Ableton Live arranger, they’ll never put that on an actual “MPC”.

    I don't plan to buy a key37, because the mpk connected to LIVE2 is enough for me. Two in one seems to make it difficult to use. The buttons are far apart and the pads have to be reached above the keyboard. However, I think this will be a great solution for many people.
    Do you still use SMPLTREK or have you completely switched to akai?

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  8 месяцев назад +1

      Never completely switched but I've been using MPC since I was 18. Not currently using the smpltrek much. I just love Samplers in general so I'll try what ever looks intriguing but always return to MPC

    I think this product is for people more into keys than beats but like to have both in same device. Also, some people might think 37 keys is too few, but I'm pretty sure the pads can be used for key triggers as well so you could actually get some crazy chord and arp action going on ...

    • @LiftedNoise

      Just the built in keyboard and layout set it apart enough for me to want one. I'll have a desire to compose more. Carrying around a live and keyboard to my job isn't super efficient, but this might be.

    Bro where u get that mpc live 2 stand from

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  8 месяцев назад +1

      A seller on a site called Bonanza. A couple things about this stand, while I think it's nice, it does not sit flush. I do not think the seller who made this had an mpc live 2 in possession but rather built it off dimensions and didn't consider the rubber feet so this is why its not sitting flush with the wood. There where no pictures of it with the MPC on it but he did have an mpc one stand as well so I just took a chance and went off faith. No big deal, I may have some square holes cut out where the feet go so it will sit in better. Also the turn around and delivery took longer than expected and in the meantime I was waiting the sellers communication was pretty much non existent.

    I currently have the MPC One+ which I like a lot. But I would love to have a keyboard-version. Ever sinse I bought the MPC one I've been on the lookout for a good bundle price on all the plugins but they are still so expensive. I mean common Hype and tube synth sounds so bad. They are not even worth mentioning along with a new product release. Akai needs to include all the essential plugins like, Fabric XL, Jura, Mini-D, OPx-4, Air delay/flavor pro with Key 37. Then this would be the perfect standalone machine.

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes that definitely would be more intriguing for many if it included all those. Im not mad cause i do already own them. I think at very least include fabric xl because it gives you most the bread and butter sounds. Yea mention those 8 plugins may only compell new MPC users who are unaware that all MPCs include them.

  • @remyvegamedia

    Part of me thinks, "this would be so cool." It checks off a good amount of the things I'd want in a standalone sketching device, but I just can't get over some of the cumbersome
    aspects of the MPC workflow.
    I keep waiting for something to use as a standalone device that beats my laptop and a midi controller, but so far it all just flops. I grew up with MPCs and the new ones just don't do it for me. They just feel like an awkward middle ground between a good sampler and terrible DAW haha.

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  8 месяцев назад

      Lol well I'm not about the computer no more so not including that, nothing beats the MPC right now standalone

      @@LiftedNoise Computer and midi keyboard really isn't ideal for me either haha. It's just having full Ableton features is fantastic. I don't know man I might end up trying the MPC Key if I sell my SP. I am sort of curious about it just as a way to start songs.
      Anyway man thanks for the info!

  • @matthewgaines10

    The MPC Key 61 doesn’t have full size keys either. If it isn’t full size, I would call them mini keys. The keys on the my Key 61 are 5 inches long. The keys on my Kurzweil SP7 Grand are 6 inches. By that logic, the Key 61 has mini keys. Not full size. The Key 37 isn’t going have keys any bigger I would guess. It probably will use the same keys.

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  8 месяцев назад

      So is this the usual difference between pianos, stage pianos and synthesizers? I never heard of this but I still wouldn't categorize them as mini keys since that seems to be a much more obvious difference as also most companies will add the word "mini" into their controller product name to indicate the keys are much smaller..

      I felt that about the mpc one. Build not as solid as my mpc 500 and the weird on even weight to it. Heavier at the top where the touchscreen is. I never had any issue though but I feel you. If I'm spending A lot of money I want it to have some weight to it and feel sturdy.

    I think the 37 key is a good idea in general, but in particular everyone had some extra wishes, like speakers, battery, more q-links, more ins or outs, they added sd-card, but maybe eliminated the ssd and we don't know if it will have the 4gb ram or what ever. So at the end they never make everyone happy, and people will whine about it 🤣

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  8 месяцев назад +1

      True. Everyone can't get what they want. I hoped for other things too but I was super enthusiastic about the 61, it just didn't fit into my space so just a smaller version is enough to have me pumped.
