I am wiping tears out of my eyes as I type this comment. Kelly has just finished dancing to Greensleeves as a ballerina and Ned finally learned not all dancing is the same. He went from selfishly keeping Kelly from realizing her dream of becoming a ballerina to selflessly encouraging her to do just that - a miracle. The other miracle was when Paul realized he could return to ballet, not as a dancer, but as a dance master. It makes me wish this episode was a whole movie so we could watch Kelly go from a saloon girl dancer to a ballerina dancing in London, Paris, Rome, and beyond. Hoss may not have the look, polish, and eloquence Adam has, but his heart is big enough to more than compensate. Bonanza may have lost some of its allure when Pernell left the cast, but it must have lost more when Dan's life ended. How comforting to enjoy their lives on the Ponderosa with these episodes from the past.
This was exceptional writing and acting. Now I understand why Bonanza was so popular back when I was a kid. Thank you for posting these amazing episodes.
Been watching Bonanz for so long and still.hoping to find episodes I had missed. It's really classic TV show, family oriented, good values and western.
@Grjngo - Western Series, I've been watching every single episode of Bonanza here because your picture/sound quality is excellent. Won't you upload anymore? I was hoping you would upload all seasons. I hope everything is fine and you come back with the uploads soon, we fans of this unforgettable show thank you a lot!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THESE 186 Episodes of BONANZA! I never watched it when it was on network TV, 📺 but have watched them all now! Great show for all time!! 😊❤👍
It was great to see Barrie Chase show some of her talents. I enjoy the old specials she was in from the 60s.There's a video of Barrie a few years ago, she still looked great even in her 80s.
Amazing episode, very emotional. . Surprises us the way Hoss takes on the role of aesthete with perfect critical judgement. Cowboys can have good taste. Viewers would expect that role more from Adam. Barrie Chase shows us her versatility. She could act as well as dance in whatever style was expected, what a performance! All the acting superb esp the restrained Warren Stevens. Script was brilliant. Written by her brother Frank, what a talented family, I'd rank this in the top five Bonanzas, that's saying something!
Thanks very much. So the episode was written specifically for her. She was an incredibly talented dancer. I love watching her specials with Fred Astaire.
By far, Ballerina is the best episode I ever watched of Bonanza, after watching 30-40 episodes, this is by far the best, musicwise, scenery, the story, this is the one I like the most, thank you Bonanza, for making this awful Covid-19 years bearable.
The same w/ me after watching about20 episodes, this is the best so far, the story, the music, the dance by Barrie & the lesson. The good thing about Bonanza is that every episode leaves us lesson, thank you for the upload,
I really like this show because I would watch it with my mom and she got me into westerns and I am so happy she did god rest her soul 🙏 and thank you for all the episodes my friend their are very much appreciated 😊😊
I don't always comment with each episode but Im enjoying everyone that is shared, this one was especially good, thank you.....Greetings from Australia.
Great Episode! , I keep checking my notifications to see if you posted a new video everyday. Hope all is good and that you are healthy. Thank you for sharing these great Episodes with all of us.
I'm sniveling, crrying all choked up as Kelly danced BALLERINA style to"What Child is This" christmas song in the saloon. It's like her father was having a VISION of who she was supposed to be as he watched her flutter arounnd/ I'm so moved and touched by this episode it's like none other. Her father let go of his self centerness and let her walk into her dream life to become the Ballarina her mother most likly had wanted her to be. What a blessinng!
So , this is what Dan Blocker was all about. People knew him ad a rough and ready Cowboy, but deep down inside he a very different person . See that step he did in the house ? No doubt that was really him. DML
I like it when after HOSS tried the steps he rolled his eyes and went up the stairs with his hand on his back. It was funny because i thought.... ME too HOSS me too! 🤣🤣🤣You gotta have a strong back to do all them fancy tip toe feet moves.
I watched all of the episodes od Bonanza You uploaded. Thank You so much for that wonderful effort. I love Bonanza and this last episode made me so happy. I have in plan to watch other of your wester uploads. Thank you❤
A beautiful episode...even had a "special effect"---the gelled dance sequence at --40:05-- > --43:30--. Barrie' Chase's brother, Frank, wrote the script. She was a great dancer -- partnered with Fred Astaire. I am sorry she missed out on many of the musicals of Hollywood. A story of 2nd chances, new beginnings, even for her father the violinist---in San Francisco instead of the mining camps. Parting is such sweet sorrow. Time to move on -- for more of Life's adventures!! Good lines: "Something good together. Don't lose it" .... "What will I say? .... You'll find a way." Excellent choice of music for the solo ballet sequence: "Whose Child is this that's laid to rest on Mary's lap is sleeping? ... This , this is Christ the King...." Great ending shot: En pointe with the ballet slippers! Another Sunday lesson taught via television's Golden Age. Never saw this episode. Thanks Grjngo.
If,heaven forbid, this really is the last Bonanza episode (Noooo!)How about posting Larado,Laramie,Chaparral,Lancer, Virginian,The Searchers,Wagon Train,Champion,Big Valley etc etc.I need my western fix!Pretty Pretty Please.
14:43 That was good! Nice to be surprised by something. I was assuming a fawning romance, not a critique. His leaving before the others could say a word felt strange, but then I saw that it was so showcase his limp. A nice setup. Should be good. Nicely done. Don't underestimate a "saloon girl" because people can be much more than their current job. Suddenly the guy who doesn't want to dance has a ballet studio? Would have been more interesting if they started with a bare room, perhaps holding a chair, and then when he sees promise in her, then he surprises her by adding a handrail and mirror. 39:10 Hoss is the best! I knew that he was going to ask her to perform ballet but "I'd like you to do it in these." is the best writing! ... well, great writing until 46:36 Why is the father asking if the ballet visits San Francisco much? The audition is with the San Francisco ballet! Perhaps this wasn't the planned ending but their ending didn't work and they changed it to this.
My, no leaps while doing the splits mid- air, no ankles by the ears en pointe, no pirouettes across the stage like a spinning top! Styles certainly have changed!
Yeah, a weeper. I don't mind saying it had -- has -- me tearing up...and not for the first time while watching these. This one a story of recognizing your life's purpose, its meaning, of love, courage... 186 episodes so far. Watched with my family on Sunday nights, as we ate dinner on little folding tables before the b&w. A genuine show, always intelligent, about tolerance, love, loyalty, standing up for right...and NOT the racist crap promoted 60 years later by the White supremacist, supposedly Christian, Republican Party and their idiot leaders Trump and DeSantis. Would a president then have ever called poor countries "s__holes"?? What a disgrace...both him and the millions who voted for him.
i love to dance. but i always tell people that i do my own thing. this episode reminds me of just what i dont like. i can best describe it with a verse from jackson browne. Just do the steps that you've been shown By everyone you've ever known Until the dance becomes your very own No matter how close to yours another's steps have grown In the end, there is one dance you'll do alone

The ending was heartwarming. I don't do romance but this is an exception.

Warren Stevens played Rojan in one episode of Star Trek TOS. He looked just like Elon Musk in that one.
Thanks very much. So the episode was written specifically for her. She was an incredibly talented dancer. I love watching her specials with Fred Astaire.
Thanks for the excellent quality of all videos. PLease post the rest of Bonanza if you can.
I love every episode plus each episode has a good lesson to learn about life.
The ballet so makes me miss when I once danced.
Wonderful episode.
Bonanza always seems to have a lesson in each episode.
What a wonderful series.

Grace and beauty the choreography classic bonanza how hard ballet really is
This is one of my most favorite episodes!!
Hoss got the short end in the beginning just trying to help. {no good deed goes totally unpunished) He was just trying to help, like he always does.
All of the episode of Bonanza show how the Cartwright's family make others happy and success. I like this from Indonesia!

So skilful, so refined so polished,
Such grace such elegance such dignity
Yes she belongs to the finest poetry, culture, literature n echelon of life.
Hoss wasn’t shocked by the ballerina’s skimpy outfit.
Thanks for uploading

Sounds like you've got some ballet knowledge. I didn't even notice the difference between today's ballet and yesterdays
Who else sees the T-1000 Terminator cop?! Whenever I see Paul(Warren Stevens), I see the T-1000 (Robert Hammond Patrick).

Thanks for your Bonanza uploads: GREAT quality!! Question: is "The Ballerina" the latest Bonanza episode you've posted? Many thanks again!!

Does anyone know which Bonanza episode had a storyline about 3 of the Cartwrights faced the hangman?
Maybe you're thinking of A Hot Day for a Hanging - Episode 104.
@@kateberrigan393 No, it wasn't that episode which involved Hoss only. I mean the whole Cartwrights
