The most toxic I'd ever seen Kaiba was in DSoD "It took years for Yugi to build the Millennium Puzzle." Kaiba: "That's because Yugi is a weak-minded child."
Kevin Kaiba in VRAINS: I activate my skill, Salt Storm! I get a random card from the Salt Storm when my HP is less than yours! I draw... CHAOS MAX DRAGON.
When I heard that every Blue-Eyes player thinks that they have to beat Blue-Eyes deck made me picture two Blue-Eyes White Dragons going,”I’m Dirty Dan!” “No, I’M Dirty Dan!” Edit: Senpai noticed me!
My blue eyes deck never bricks, because i don't run side engines that brick it. If you want an engine to work with blue eyes, then it has to be a blue eyes or eyes of blue arch-type, if not then it needs to search light monsters, dragon monsters, levels 7-9 or needs to be an extra deck monster
burning newt I just recently got into red eyes and while it isn't the best it's absolutely far from the worst and is an absolute joy to play after all blue eyes is about power while red eyes is about potential
Adrian Ochoa no, but Kaiba would definitely try new things and not be afraid to explore new possibilities with his deck, differently than the whole blue eyes community he is an actual genius, and even tho he is cocky, he is not afraid to try new things out
@@elheisenberg3760 All while Kaiba still runs 3 Blue-Eyes, Polymerisation and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. I mean hey, the anime always lets him summon that.
Kaiba isn't toxic. Do you even know his backstory?!?!?! He needs to maintain his slightly mean attitude because otherwise he will be considered unfit as a leader so the KiabaCorp CEO will leave him and his brother for dead, no matter how intelligent he is (may I remind you of how he created four first of it's kind immersive VR sets from hand along with multiple times creating holographic technology revolutionizing dueling in the anime).
@@extremepokegamer4037 Yes, But I don't know why a lot of people are labeling Kiaba as a huge jerk when he's just doing what he has to do in his giving circumstances.

As a Blue-Eyes player, I’m really happy to see this video. You did a good job explaining why the community for this deck feels toxic, and talking about the decks weakness and strengths
Only difference is there is no such thing as a bad samurai deck, just pile all the good cards together and let the deck win the match for you in 3 turns.
Kaiba made sure he had the only copies of blue-eyes and I will make sure my blue-eyes deck list is the only one out there! Me and my chaos max dragons destroyed the third rate duelists at locals, and once I get my invite I will be waiting for you next, dweeb!
Blacktop YGO and yugi is the main one but then again he is the main character and the writers would probably come up with some random excuse to have him beat Exodia with nothing but a kuriboh or something probably along the lines of I have a kuriboh in my hands and due to his effect I don't lose even though you have all pieces of Exodia in your hand and then have the person who had Exodia lose because they had Exodia or something like that
I just play for casual fun with all my decks, including Blue-eyes. I do like playing with Chaos Max btw, since I'm a fan of rituals, yet I do acknowledge its shortcomings and have fun with it all the same.
From doing blue eyes deck profiles for the last what 4 plus years on my channel .Idk But I never noticed that the blue eyes community was toxic really. But that’s just me. But all you other points I do agree with there’s so many different ways to play blue eyes and people should not discredit new builds. though I do wish things like the invoke engine and ash were cheaper. But I know they’ll get reprinted eventually.
Being a Blue Eyes player myself I can say 100% the Blue Eyes community is toxic. Especially to eachother. Months ago I was in a yugioh Facebook group that threatened anyone who suggested Maiden With Eyes of Blue was a good card. And it was mostly other blue eyes players making threats.
Completely agree. We Blue-Eyes players need to work as one. Sharing ideas and trying out new strategies will be ideal for bringing about the absolute best possible Blue-Eyes Deck ever seen.
Honestly, that's what I love about being causal. Bad decks against bad decks is so much fun. This is one reason back in the day that around the lunch tables my friends and I would sometimes play with decks that had like 50+ cards in them. You never knew WHAT would happen next!
"Its because most of these shitlords wear they trenchcoats thinking they Kaiba and in a game of Yugioh highlander, there can only be one. Well. .. technically 3."
Okay I take issue since I actually do wear a trench coat, since I don't even act like Kaiba.(Even if I look like him and Kai from Cardfight Vanguard.). I just enjoy wearing trenchcoat. Though ironically most of the card game decks I use are from people that wear trenchcoats. Even if they're not exactly the same build. Though its probably just because most Dragon deck users wear trenchcoats...... Is that just the standard for anyone with a Dragon thing? Ryuuga, Seto Kaiba, Toshiki Kai and Lance all wear trench coats and capes.....
i been fortunate than. at locals and on YGORPO, if its a blue-eyes mirror match, its been a blast and we always interact regarding our builds. however, i do see your side, i did have a couple matches where extra salt was requested with their meal.
Dear dzeeff, I just wanna let you know how much I respect you. I have been doing nothing but making a Blue-Eyes deck to go to a tournament with. My reason for wanting to play the Blue-Eyes (and nothing else) was becouse I finished the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime. Kaiba kinda represents me in that I like power, and the Blue-Eyes, like you said, also carries a lot of nostalgia. Another reason I wanted to make a Blue-Eyes deck was becouse I once bought, for realy cheap, cards online for a deck i made in Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour where I made a fusion-themed deck with, ofcourse, my best card being the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and Dragon Master Knight, and I wanted to expand on that deck since i got back into Yu-Gi-Oh!. I am also a lolicon, so it was a rule of mine to include lolies in my deck, wich I think (though i do say so myself) did a pretty good job with. And a lot of loli cards are hand traps like Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit. Right now i got a deck with my 2 trump cards the Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon and a Bloom Diva The Melodious Choir (best loli monster). I also got a few (15) extra deck monsters. Not the one you'd expect, like Galaxy xyz monsters, but some i thought would've been fun to use. I'd like to mention I am not a pro, far from it, so I just add whatever I think would work. I did have a lot of trouble with my opponent using the extra dech so much and just a Blue-Eyes isn't very good when comparing to other decks being used right now. I never knew there was a Blue-Eyes community, ler alone one that was so hatefull... I tried looking up decks and see if these would work using ygopro, but they all kinda failed. I also remember seeing Amorphage Goliath in one of those decks and... I have to be honest... I didn't read what it did... Honestly now that i saw your video I feel a lot more confident. My deck is near completion, just added the Amorphage Goliath to an already paid order and waiting on the last few cards. If I havn't seen this video and know what that pendulum monster that i saw back then actually did, i would've regretted it, since it is also realy easy to summon. If you read all of this, thank you very much, that makes me happy. Not much else I got left to say other than that I should head to bed now as it is 2:50 AM as I am typing this, other than thank you. P.S.: I'd say Amorphage Sloth is equally good. Can't be used for trade-in to special summon it later from the graveyard, but is easier to summon for just 1 tribute.
Maybe its because everybody wants to see themselves as the "rightful owner of Blue-Eyes". I used to imagine that too. That would explain why everybody says their deck is the best and doesn't want to try new things. I am also a Blue-Eyes player and I'm aware of the toxicity of the community. Thank you for trying to reason with people like this. I hope you can reach as many people as possible and we can make great builds for Blue-Eyes in the future, as a community.
Hey Dzeeff, One of my friends who plays Blue eyes ran Red eyes darkness metal dragon and when I played against him that card put in some serious work. If you are still looking to perfect the deck. That’s a card I would recommend trying out.
The Detective It's good, if you draw the right cards. Try running an Eclipse Wyvern, and then all you need to do is Summon Dark Matter with a Collapserpent in hand. Simply banish the Wyvern for Collapserpent, add REDMD, banish the serpent for REDMD, and revive anything, including a Galaxy Eyes XYZ you detached for Dark Matter to attack! That's already 4000x2 on monsters, 2800, and another 4000.You also still have room to dump either Arkbrave+Goliath or Ancients+Legend from that same Dark Matter. Or if you really want to maximize dumping, banish the Dark Matter for REDMD and revive Galaxy-Eyes into another Dark Matter for 6 dumps in one turn! That also banishes 6 targets from the opponents deck! (But like I said, the problem is the consistency of drawing Collapserpent and not drawing/banishing the REDMD/Eclipse, and since everything save for Dark Matter/REDMD is not Dark, Wyvenbuster isn't a good option to search Collapserpent. Deck space is already hard for Blue-Eyes to keep low, and chances are even at 3 Collapserpents, you won't draw them.)
NextGenGaming103 Red-Eyes Wyvern? I dunno who you're playing that allows REDMD to survive a turn. It'll probably get destroyed by your turn, and you won't get its effect.
This is by far my favorite video that you ever made. I also adore the Blue Eyes White Dragon and would love to see someone play it and win in tournaments. Having quit Yu Gi Oh for good after GX I'm completely out of the loop at all the BS that happened to the game and can't offer ideas or constructive criticism myself but I still agree that people who love a certain deck should come together and make it better and better. A "fan favorite" deck beating those "meta junkies" would be phenomenal. Have a nice day~
UK Blue-Eyes player here: I haven't encountered the level of toxicity you're describing here. I built my first Blue-Eyes deck last year, back when they were meta but I had no idea because I didn't know anything about the meta. My first deck was legitimately terrible, being an amalgamation of cards from the Legacy structure deck (and not even the best cards from it either). Going to uni was my first experience of the meta. There was another Blue-Eyes player who, admittedly told me to make my deck more like his but when my deck didn't even run Alternative or Melody of Awakening or any of that basic Blue-Eyes stuff I think it was a little different from the way you're describing here. After a few months, I had managed to build my deck into what I think is the pretty standard build. I took it to a few local tourneys and it did about average so I was happy with it. In fact, now that Pendulum Magicians are dead if you don't have a spare £100 lying sound, it's still my best deck. That friend who helped me no longer runs Blue-Eyes, but when he did he ran a Galaxy Soldier engine which I thought was cool. I met a guy during a tourney who showed me his Chaos Max build, which I thought was cool. I can't afford either of those, but I liked the look of both builds. My current build experiments with Master with Eyes of Blue, which has worked well for me. I once tried a build with Mausoleum of White, which was a bit more hot and miss. I'd probably experiment more of I could afford to. I'll admit, I'm one of those guys who hates the current hand trap meta because every single deck runs them and the good one are all so expensive! I hesitate to play against one of my friends because he has a play set of Ash and it's just no fun playing against that. I think I had a point at the start of this comment but now it just rambling. I love Blue-Eyes, I wish I could experiment more with different engines but I'm poor. I was so happy to see Crystal Wing get a reprint because it many I could actually afford ones. Some people have to just play what they can.
I'm new to Yugioh, but growing up, I did watch the anime, and blue eyes white dragon was always my favorite monster. Now getting into it, it saddens me that this is the community for it. It's cool that we all have different opinions on what works and what doesn't. Instead of fighting over it, we should celebrate and discuss, the diversity in decks only shows how good and viable this archetype, and how it can fit so many different play-styles. Instead of being closed off, we should be open to new strategies, and be amazed by what others have come up with. This is archetype is amazing, because of it's diversity, and we should respect it more as a community, not tear ourselves apart.
this kinda brings me back some memories of when I played with some friends and neighbors, it was 2013 and I played a very simple Blue-Eyes deck and my friends freaked out when I won some duels against them (they said that I should play "pure Blue-Eyes" and using Galaxy-Eyes cards in the deck was "dumb and retarded" :v ), probably people that use Amorphage Goliath (or any kind of thing that isn't "pure Blue-Eyes") is doomed to be insulted in very childish ways
The best build is with 3x Galaxy Soldier and Glow-up Bulb. Ever since Needlefiber came out it makes it pretty easy to go into first turn Spirit Dragon and Cyber Dragon Infinity again. If not that at least a link kuriboh plus infinity or a spirit dragon alone. Although Spirit dragon alone isn't that daunting you have to remember he's also a blackrose moonlight and an Azure-Eyes in one card. The card is still decent
I hate that people are categorized and judged by what type of deck they play with. I miss when we were kids and we just played with whatever cards we thought looked the coolest.
The nice thing with blue eyes is that it was meta for a bit, meaning we can look to some of the more reputable deck builders. When I wanted to play blue eyes at locals I looked at Billy brakes list from a few formats ago, switched some stuff up (ash blossom is now a thing lol) and it worked really well.
To go on what you said about hand traps, those and Evenly Matched help Blue-Eyes actually stand against these other, stronger decks. Ash can stop entire turns and give us the chance to slap 8-9k on board and OTK. You can't bag on the hand traps, Cuz although they're a pain in the ass to deal with, they're also a pain in the ass to everyone else and help us get the win.
Rallen Riko My primary deck drives around lost world. I end up getting 11100 on the board turn one, plus the ability to turn all opponent monsters face down with UCT and send them to grave dealing 1000 points each, and two juraegg tokens on their field preventing them from using effects on my monsters.
My favorite thing to do with a blue eyes deck is the dumb shit, like running shrink specifically so you can use it on your own maiden. I tend not to play competitively because of me just wanting to do the dumb shit
I just started building my blue eyes fusion deck knowing that it won’t be too great. Everyone loves chaos max but no one gives neo ultimate love. I’m going to regionals, see you at top 8!!
Neo-Blue-Eyes is a solid Win-con for BEWD, but I would summon it through Dragon’s Mirror and keep it as a... sort of last resort method or gimmicky play.
Wish you put some posts or evidence of toxicity. As a viewer, I have no idea what you're talking about. You talk about very specific instances, but you show nothing. It brings the video down, in my opinion.
Every single time I've done a video where I've posted comments there's people complaining that I'm promoting trolls or that it's unfair for me to single people out. When I don't post examples I get comments like this. I can't win :/
"What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence" I guess you better start promoting them trolls, like me. Hueh hueh hueh. (besides, who complains about people being promoted? What are they, jealous? And this is YT, a public online domain - They can use fake names if they want, otherwise them even having an account is proof that they are willing to be cited. This ain't Myspace, and that's not Falco.)
+dzeeff Those new Mystical Beasts Cereberus into Jackal is a 1 card Lv8 2800 without using your normal summon. ruclips.net/video/HxX3WpN0nig/видео.html
I’m an experimental player. I like to build decks based on various strategies and try to make them work at competitive levels. I’m glad to see this video because I ran a Blue-Eyes deck in late 2016 and saw how other Blue-Eyes apologists reactively would snub me for it. (even when I’d beat them) but I’ll find a way to make Chaos MAX viable!!!!
Yes another person who plays kaiju on accusation, because mostly every deck is Kaiju-able (Chew-able) I guess I was going for. but I like main my Zombies Hordes
An interesting idea for blue eyes that a friend of mine came up with was running invoked blue eyes with chaos max sided (the idea is you go first and summon mechaba with massive beaters behind it (alternative or normal off of a sage or a stone) then when your opponent goes first next game you side out the invoked engine and side in the chaos max engine with a kaiju engine as well, basically changing the deck from a go first stun the opponent then swing to a go second summon giant beaters and beat over your opponent) its an interesting concept that does pretty well against most decks (chaos max has the advantage of not being targetable so spyral cries when chaos max is summoned against it) Just thought I would mention this as its a pretty strong and reasonably (well for a blue eyes deck anyway) consistent build for blues eyes that people could try out
Wow, they called the deck bad cuz of the arkbrave and Goliath combo. Little did they know that Goliath wins games. I play felgrands and only lost to ABCs just twice ever since that deck came out. Goliath would just seal the deal for me every time. Played against dark synchro AND world chalice, Goliath was the ace. With blue eyes, chaining spirit to summon azure eyes to arkbrave's effect for Goliath is just super busted. Those players who dunno Goliath's worth need to educate themselves
Yup, for what was once Blue-Eyes Spirit's+Azure-Eyes weakness is now it's strength. Normally Raigeki or Dark Hole would end a field with Spirit, since the Azure-Eyes effect would activate on a second chain, but now...by chaining Spirit to Arkbrave, you could use that to your advantage so both Azure-Eyes and Goliath get protection, despite Azure-Eyes being an Extra Deck monster hindered by Goliath under normal circumstances. It's something I could even imagine Kaiba doing...like when he explains how he screws the rules against his victims.
in general i just built my blue-eyes deck with a lot of ways to make sure blue-eyes is no inside my deck. If its anywhere else i can usually do something with it. If its in my graveyard, i have ways to return it to my hand from there if i need to use alternative, i have ways to get it out of my hand onto the board, i have ways to put it back in the graveyard from my hand. Now these decks are by no means pro level but It's a pretty good timmy gamer archetype as blue-eyes is very good for just swarming an opponent with blue monsters.
After being away from the game for almost 15 yrs blue-eyes was one of the first decks I built. However I built it with next to no knowledge of all the new blue-eyes support cards. Since I built it it has gone through several rebuilds and frankly still needs works. As learn new and better cards I incorporate them into the deck. But one thing that hasn't changed since i built it the first time is I can pull off a blue-eyes ultimate turn 1. And now that I've recently gotten the card I could possibly pull off dragon master knight turn 2. No matter what I change in the deck turn 2 DMK is not something ill ever change
I love how u differentiate between the casual setting and the pro setting. Ur so right man. I don't play in the pro setting. I only play casual with buddies. And u nailed it! It's so much more fun and chill. These are very different arenas guys
i dont think the issue with blue eyes is really just a matter of consistency, i do have a deck that i enjoy playing casually(but im also running a hybrid draw engine). But really what i feel it comes down to for me is that the blue eyes support that exists currently is hurt heavily by hand traps, and even if blue eyes got popular in meta for a week or 2, people could easily side deck for it. At that point, your problem would be that people have a lot of options to deal with them because a standard blue eyes deck doesn't protect itself from any of the easy outs. There is a trap you can use now that helps for a turn, but you cant really rely on it because there's no consistency to the ways you can search it. I think the biggest flaw with blue eyes is that they're high level and therefore cannot spam the field in the same way as the meta decks of the current era do, we cant just put 4 of them on the field at will, and then make a nearly invincible board first turn like a lot of the decks that exist in the meta do.
Like you said, the biggest problem is the early game. Most Blue-Eyes decks have a 9/10 chance to get a good hand. That 1/10 difference is a huge part about playing.
...I'm sorry, I'm still fresh back into Yugioh. There's different sub-communities for deck archetypes? o_o Also yeah no, judging from what I've heard about Blue-Eyes players, that kind of "set in stone" mentality is really crippling toward a competitive mindset.
A portion of somewhat casual players seem to get overly attached to specific decks. Blue-eyes is one of those. It can lead to people being very stubborn and somewhat toxic towards other players.
I play yugioh two different ways, ill play meta and be super competitive and analytical about my games, then ill go and play some rogue/casual decks ans just enjoy playing, for instance my Grinder Golem Madolche deck isnt meta but I enjoy playing it win or lose and thinking less about matchups and just njoying the deck
Man I have tested sooooooo many things with blue eyes it's crazy. Invoked, link, hieratic, ancient rules, pure, Goliath you name it. Experimentation is good
I think what's being missed here--the one vastly overgrown elephant in the room, is the concept of human individuality. If I had to take a wild guess, the people playing Blue-Eyes who constantly proclaim to have the "best" Blue-Eyes build to the rest of us have more than likely modified their decks in such a way that works for *them.* Them as in they as individuals. As dzeeff has said in his video, even the people who play rogue decks tend to have slight differences because each player is playing them differently. *Of course* they're playing differently! They're individuals! Everyone plays the game a different way, in a different style! The way each of us sees the board and how we navigate it is going to differ from person to person. Now, to be sure, a set of guidelines to building a deck(any deck) is a great start! Even so, your deck still won't work best for you after you follow those guidelines. What you need to do after that is fine-tune your deck so that it meshes best with your play style. i.e. How *you personally* would play a Blue-Eyes deck. That's precisely what makes the deck so strong, and why your deck wouldn't work as well in the hands of other players. It's not *their* deck. It's *your* deck! Even if some of them are tooting their own horns, I'm sure several people toting these decks are strong Blue-Eyes players, because they're using a deck that they personally have built. Because they built it for themselves, it works for them, and I'd bet any dollar that their deck wouldn't work nearly as well in the hands of any other person.
I think Blue Eyes is one of those where you really have to tailor it to your personal playstyle, at least that's how it seems. Hence why there are so many strats
I absolutely LOVE the Blue Eyes Archetype and do actually agree and I've even made a deck recipe that splashes in some of the Supreme King series as a way to overcome the shortcomings of the deck
There's a very simple solution to make the Blue Eyes Deck op. I take the main structure for Blue Eyes, for example it has all the Blue Eyes along with Maiden, Protector, Master and Sage with eyes of blue. It also has the white stones and spell cards to back them up. But here's where it's different...I added in 2 Dark Magicians, a Buster Blader, a ton of fusion support and has an extra deck with Dark Paladin, Blue Eyes monsters and the Buster Blader Legendary Swordsman.
As a Blue-Eyes player, i take note of strategies that work and ones that dont and experiment/splash different engines and archtypes. Blue-eyes was actually pretty good with sky striker when drones was at 3. I tried to get blue-eyes dragonmaids to work but the deck suffers greatly from lack of consistent combos. Blue-eyes just needs more gateway cards, a good fusion engine that synergizes with the core archtype and better spells that support the tuners and or the dragon itself. The deck needs cards that should reward you for summoning or keeping a blue-eyes monster or blue-eyes white dragon in play and punish opponents for destroying them
If I may go long hand with a comment here. I have a deck that is a pure dragon deck. I'd personally consider it a mid-tier. It's not bad, but it could be better. It's a 42 card deck, that uses Hieratics and Darkness Metal Dragon as support cards (hieratics are not the main archetype, it is dragons in general) to play beat stick cards in the deck, and in the extra deck. And there are absolutely only dragons and dragon related support cards, that even excludes non-dragon cards that actually would help the deck. Long story short: The deck is really great at explosive 2nd turn plays. It's easy to get a lv/rank 8 monster out on the first turn, or even get Darkness Metal Dragon out. Which makes it good, if your opponent needs to build up before having the advantage. Weakness: The card cost is immense, and very risky. Since it's a sprint right out the gate. 2nd turn allows very powerful plays as 6 cards and 1st attack turn, but cards like Mirror Force, or Torrential Tribute destroy this deck. After that, the other player will win by card advantage, and the 42 card count is very precise. Add too many support cards that counter those and you lose the consistency of the deck I built. So it lacks a lot of protections. A sort of glass cannon, if you will. Buuuut it's fun for me. And it works well enough. It doesn't hold a candle to those competitive decks, but I'd consider it at least middle tier. (darn super rejuvination ban, it's so perfect for this deck)
Huh. You know, this makes me rather thankful that the one dedicated Blue-Eyes player I know is pretty chill and understands what's wrong with the deck. Even he understands that Chaos Max is terrible.
"Rogue players will experiment with anything to keep their deck relevant." As someone who was playing Brilliant Fusion and Mythical Beasts in my Spellbook deck last week, I can confirm this. Lol
I personally love playing a blue eyes deck, because I like the monsters. I personally will always always add new cards if it will help and take out cards that are not as good. The draw back I have is regardless of how I alter my deck I unfortunately don't have any place to test my deck I don't even know of anyone in my area who still play the game. When it comes to any deck I look at it as they can always be improved.
I like to think that before two blue eyes players duel they give each other a common BEWD card and rip it in half in front of each other as sign of respect of course

From doing blue eyes deck profiles for the last what 4 plus years on my channel .Idk But I never noticed that the blue eyes community was toxic really. But that’s just me. Oh shoot it's Seto!

"Eventually" ._)
Dear card trader players
Completely agree. We Blue-Eyes players need to work as one. Sharing ideas and trying out new strategies will be ideal for bringing about the absolute best possible Blue-Eyes Deck ever seen.
Honestly, that's what I love about being causal. Bad decks against bad decks is so much fun. This is one reason back in the day that around the lunch tables my friends and I would sometimes play with decks that had like 50+ cards in them. You never knew WHAT would happen next!

Dear dzeeff,
I just wanna let you know how much I respect you.
@Drone Dride mf just casually says he's a lolicon

Maybe its because everybody wants to see themselves as the "rightful owner of Blue-Eyes". I used to imagine that too. That would explain why everybody says their deck is the best and doesn't want to try new things. I am also a Blue-Eyes player and I'm aware of the toxicity of the community. Thank you for trying to reason with people like this. I hope you can reach as many people as possible and we can make great builds for Blue-Eyes in the future, as a community.
Hey Dzeeff,
One of my friends who plays Blue eyes ran Red eyes darkness metal dragon and when I played against him that card put in some serious work. If you are still looking to perfect the deck. That’s a card I would recommend trying out.
NextGenGaming103 sweet!
The Detective I run a blue eyes red eyes deck and surprisingly it works pretty well
The Detective
It's good, if you draw the right cards.
NextGenGaming103
Red-Eyes Wyvern? I dunno who you're playing that allows REDMD to survive a turn. It'll probably get destroyed by your turn, and you won't get its effect.
Hold the phone. I've been out of yugioh for years now. There are dragon decks that don't run REDMD?
This is by far my favorite video that you ever made. I also adore the Blue Eyes White Dragon and would love to see someone play it and win in tournaments. Having quit Yu Gi Oh for good after GX I'm completely out of the loop at all the BS that happened to the game and can't offer ideas or constructive criticism myself but I still agree that people who love a certain deck should come together and make it better and better. A "fan favorite" deck beating those "meta junkies" would be phenomenal. Have a nice day~
UK Blue-Eyes player here:
I haven't encountered the level of toxicity you're describing here.
Totally! Those were the days!
Hayden Foxx that's why i used slifer . It's the most badass looking card in the game until now imo . But my favourite is buster blader
"Dear fat people": Yugioh edition

I'm just going to keep playing Kaijus. They work, and they're really good.
Yes another person who plays kaiju on accusation, because mostly every deck is Kaiju-able (Chew-able) I guess I was going for. but I like main my Zombies Hordes
An interesting idea for blue eyes that a friend of mine came up with was running invoked blue eyes with chaos max sided (the idea is you go first and summon mechaba with massive beaters behind it (alternative or normal off of a sage or a stone) then when your opponent goes first next game you side out the invoked engine and side in the chaos max engine with a kaiju engine as well, basically changing the deck from a go first stun the opponent then swing to a go second summon giant beaters and beat over your opponent) its an interesting concept that does pretty well against most decks (chaos max has the advantage of not being targetable so spyral cries when chaos max is summoned against it)
Just thought I would mention this as its a pretty strong and reasonably (well for a blue eyes deck anyway) consistent build for blues eyes that people could try out
Wow, they called the deck bad cuz of the arkbrave and Goliath combo.
You can pry my blue eyes ultimate beat stick out of my cold casual hands.
Video should be called "dzeef reks entire archetype (epic)"
in general i just built my blue-eyes deck with a lot of ways to make sure blue-eyes is no inside my deck.
I topped with blue eyes deck with 3x card traders, dark bribes, chaos max, sparks, and magic cylinders.
Dude, my Neo-Spacian/Exodia deck with Solemn Wishes and Pot of Generosity would crush that. Js.
No my abaki otk will destroy both your decks.
Prolly round one, but I'm only a couple sidedecks away from Last Warrior from Another Planet Turbo.

I moved my blue eyes deck to 50 cards and started seeing better hands.
D-Did he just call Blue-Eyes a stupid LV 8 3000 ATK point monster?
..................Unsubscribed! jk
i dont think the issue with blue eyes is really just a matter of consistency, i do have a deck that i enjoy playing casually(but im also running a hybrid draw engine).

If you take out the Brilliant Engine and add in Triple Chaos Max, then you can easily make worlds :^)
As a blue eyes player, I agree with him... Granted I'm a bit of a "Kaiba" myself but I see where he comes from
...I'm sorry, I'm still fresh back into Yugioh. There's different sub-communities for deck archetypes? o_o
Also yeah no, judging from what I've heard about Blue-Eyes players, that kind of "set in stone" mentality is really crippling toward a competitive mindset.
Set in "white" stones
A portion of somewhat casual players seem to get overly attached to specific decks. Blue-eyes is one of those. It can lead to people being very stubborn and somewhat toxic towards other players.
I play yugioh two different ways, ill play meta and be super competitive and analytical about my games, then ill go and play some rogue/casual decks ans just enjoy playing, for instance my Grinder Golem Madolche deck isnt meta but I enjoy playing it win or lose and thinking less about matchups and just njoying the deck

Ok that picture with the Blue Eyes head cropped in place of Aleister was hilarious
The deck needs cards that should reward you for summoning or keeping a blue-eyes monster or blue-eyes white dragon in play and punish opponents for destroying them
I play a Blue Eyes, but I respect others who play the same deck in a different way. I love playing Blue Eyes, and I admit my deck isn't perfect.
The sheer amount of times I was called out in this video has rocked me to my core
4:55 Jesus dude how can you do this to me
As a blue eyes player, I do indeed hate myself
I actually got back into the series again and I'm a blue eyes player because it was my favorite as a kid.
Huh. You know, this makes me rather thankful that the one dedicated Blue-Eyes player I know is pretty chill and understands what's wrong with the deck. Even he understands that Chaos Max is terrible.
"Rogue players will experiment with anything to keep their deck relevant."
As someone who was playing Brilliant Fusion and Mythical Beasts in my Spellbook deck last week, I can confirm this. Lol
And then there's this madman playing brilliant fusion in blue eyes
Blue Eyes White Dragon is basically a Raigeki Break, but as a spell that requires two creature tributes.
Blue-Eyes White Dragon is my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh card this goes out to all the Yu-Gi-Oh players that have a blue eyes white dragon deck
I like to think that before two blue eyes players duel they give each other a common BEWD card and rip it in half in front of each other as sign of respect of course
