If this channel could refresh our memories by showing or mentioning on the screen what was the original asking price again vs the final bid price or purchase price it would give us viewers a better idea of how low or high both sides were willing to compromise on to close the deal or not 😅 thanks for very nice stories
Having had a husiness in my home while raising my son's, I found that the business also did take over my home and my life. There is no locking the door at 5 p.m. and its easy to still be working at 10:00 p.m. at night and weekends.
There were some good laughs in this one. Kirsty and Phil were very entertaining. And the couples were interesting to say the least. I'm glad it all worked out well for them especially Trudy and Steve.
@@bar10ml44 He adored the school house. She adored the windmill house. She knew they wouldn't accept 40k under the asking price. Therefore, she got the house she really wanted. The one with the view.
The vibe I get from "Mother Earth" is that she's inherited a fortune & can afford to play at life. She has not the pragmatism to earn such a fortune, judging by her behavior here. I hope lover boy appreciates his luck & honors his debts.
I'm glad you mentioned this. I try to not criticize another person's religious beliefs, but this New Age stuff is so far out of the mainstream and, frankly, quite bizarre. They seem to be nice people, but their exaggerated, gentle otherworldliness (especially his) feels disingenuous.
Yes i too was surprised the new ager couple up their bid by a whopping £50,000 to buy the windmill from their £400,000 bid for the landed houses but the windmill is much more unique with a high tower breathtaking view! 👍🏻
A lot of wasted space, if you ask me. And all those beams across the dining room makes it feel like a spider's web. The quacks sure bought into the quirks.
'Chakra blah-blah,'? Ouch, Kirstie! Maybe you should try it and see what its all about... Also, if they are moving their alternative health business, don't they need to check the new community and are to see if it would be suitable for the prospect? And for Phil's pair, I love how she planted the seed to make her husband think the choice was his idea!
@Jack Parker Actually, I didn't criticize Kirstie, I said she should 'maybe' try it, because it seemed to be unfamiliar to her. Who says alternative health practices are nonsense? I wonder how you conflate planting a seed with being deceptive, however, you are entitled to your straight talking, if confrontational, opinion, but your superficial judgement of my character feels a bit hypocritical... I thought we were talking about the program and my casual comments were not intended to cause offense. Kirstie knows I love her :)
Working with clients who don't agree with each other must be frustrating. At least, the couple should be on the same page! Surprised, they ever came to an agreement.
That woman just needs to give purple shirt his marching orders and then she will be free to choose where she lives using her own money , he is a free loader .
I agreed with Trudy on the 1st house. The interior was spacious & the large back garden for the boys into their teen years is ideal. The ready made shed could've served as an office for the husband but at the top of their budget. I'm glad they got the other house they wanted & it was less expensive. Gained conservatory no personal green space.
The American versions of these shows are all fake. The TV producers contact real estate agents who have sold a house to an attractive couple, then they film the couple touring 2 or 3 other houses (some of which aren't even for sale), get them to say likes and dislikes, then tour the house they bought acting like they're still deciding, and everything gets wrapped up in a day or two of filming. They give the agent and family a couple hundred dollars for playing along and they're on to film the next episode. A friend of did this and she said it was a lot of long hours, as they'd film at all hours of the day and want them to say certain things to keep up the suspense.
I pay for youtube premium, where you don't see any ads. As they have just upped the monthly rate by $5, it's not as cheap as it used to be, but I can't stand ads, so I'll grumble about the fee increase, but continue to use Premium just to avoid the ads.
It was hard to figure out what Susanna and Phil were after. My impression is that Phil is not entirely committed to the business, or to Susanna for that matter. But I might be wrong. These two are hard to figure out.
Have they ever had two couples who bought each other's home? For a minute there, it sounded like the family wanted a home in York just like the New Agers wanted to sell.
Don't laugh..I'm a Reiki practitioner but nothing like these two. Jeez. They are so up their backsides with...I don't know what!! Why do they make it so hard? You walk into a building...like it? Yes. Hate it? No.
"The client can jump in a big fat lake." ...no one could have said it better. On the 400K offer...The seller should have insisted on talking to them and laughed in their face.
I heard "knit your own yogurt" and decided to Google that phrase. Urban dictionary says it means "A mildly derogatory term for a tree hugging liberal". Had no idea this phrase existed! lol
Having spent time with energy workers, I sincerely doubt that this couple will want other people's energy seeping into their space. Why would they be shown a SEMI-detached house?
I think the gold medal should go to Steve for dropping his practicality and seeing what his wife needed, Steve your a very good man. x
no gold medal, she has made all the sacrifices for him, she should get the house she wants
The couple with kids bought the best house!!! It is so beautiful!!! So happy for them!!!

Does any couple leave a property by shutting the door behind them?
That New Age lunacy may not fit into a small rural community.
I think there's a reason they have to scram from wherever they were. Quackery has short shelf life. And possibly they think rural=gullible.
