Titan and Patent were two words that I’d never expected to be together 😅
I've been expecting it for a long time, along with one more word: Lawsuit.
Now we wait for Rogue to take the idea and turn the tables.
I mean to be fair titan has upped their quality from where they started as purely cheap chinesium garbage. Thats when i bought my rack from them, definitely wasnt quality but its been good for me the past 5yr lol
Not the knurled horse stall mats that I wanted, but it's the correct step in that direction.
WE WANT VOLCANO KNURL STALL MATS FOR $39.99 OR ELSE! - Coop
I gots some rubber crumb knurled ones. They work ok.
@@GarageGymReviews YOU make them. :) And what shoes are those?
@@GarageGymReviewsVolcano knurled horse stall mat sole lifting shoes or bust, I wanna feel the knurl in my hands and my toes when I lift

Talked to Titan at home gym con. They tested them to 20,000 cycles with no issues and have been using them at the hq gym for 6 months with no issues
Shoutout to titan for allowing me to effectively train at home at an affordable price. Will support them always.
The lack of Titan/tighten puns is disappointing.
These look dope! The knurling, aluminum and the magnets sold me. Just bought a pair. Thank you for the great review as always Coop!!
Yes ring colors please. Really like this design. I bet we start seeing a lot more collars in the future with this style of locking. Thanks so much for sharing.
Those look really nice. I don't need collars but I sort of want these anyway.
Do it.
Well I just pulled the trigger after seeing this advertised for the 3rd time. These look pretty nice.
This is a crazy month there was the new rep cable system, repxpeppin dumbells, and the Nuobell 240’s, and now these
I know they are just collars but I like the innovation. Great video as usual!
Knew this was coming once they announced. This design is incredibly smart. Magnetic, knurled, simple twist, aluminum.
I've had mine for a few weeks now and I LOVE THEM! And you absolutely can set and remove them one handed as long as you have some weight on the bar. The only thing you might have to be careful about is removing them if you have small plates on because the magnets could pull them off the bar too if you're not careful.
I'd love to see an updated review on the GR3 rack.
Love the channel and love you coop, that stash is going to take over the channel soon enough though, be careful.
Rogue are what I have and the only ones I trust for my adjustable dumbbell handles but do like the magnet part for the titans
Incoming review of the PRX rack👀
Slick. Looking forward to Adonis hands on and hoping for a bulletproof VTS review too. Thanks coop
This was a cool video. 🤙
.I was waiting for this 🏋♂️
Coop any chance you'll be reviewing the MAXUM Fitness SX2? Seems like one of the best all-in-one racks on the market and really good value for all it includes but there's not much coverage of it!
Are those standing light saber lights in the background? Looks sweet, would like that in my home gym.
heya coop. couldn't find any yet but you can create a guide or review 2nd gloor gyms? ended up buying a house with no driveway so can't use the garage. first floor just has a living room/kitchen so upstairs it is for a home gym. missus wants a treadmil (marathon runner) and i mainly do free weights (rogue squat stand for bench/skwatz). no deadlifts needed
Love a collar review.
Who doesn't like a good collar review from Coop? No one I want to hang around with that's for sure.....
What's the thinnest and lightest collar that has a secure hold?
Just bought them using your affiliate link Coop. Thank you!
Hey coop how’s your gym adventure going?
Hey Mr. Coop could you please review those lever arms behind you from PRX they look awesome.
YEP! Been testing them. Review in the works! - Coop
@@GarageGymReviews Great
When are you going to review Griffin's new adjustable bench?
I am still using my Eleiko collars, still going strong. These look cool though.
Gold would be a nice color
Is coop teasing us with the PRX jammer arms in the background
Can u review those upper body cardio bike things??
Love to see the maturation of Titan from "copy cat" to "innovator".
Can you review the PRX talon's?
Lol Saw the IG ad for them and was wondering when you'd get them.
Hey Coop,
What machine is the one to the right of the video? It looks like a shoulder machine. Please let me know. Thanks
SFE standing shoulder raise commercial.
Will this work on olympic lifts and crossfit?
I think they are really freaking cool
Torture Fail! Did not get yeeted off a roof on a Rogue DB15 dumbbell handle with two 45lb dumbbell bumpers! c'mon Coop, those green bumpers are good for this!!!
10:51 I love my 2" dumbell weights (like the green one) to use on a barbell
I feel if you are not lifting 100s of lbs, there is no need for the cumbersome larger diameter 45 lb weights, unless you need the height for deadlifts. There's plenty of room on the loading pin to put 200-250 lbs on, enough for me who isn't super strong and never does heavy singles due to advanced age
I see some lever arms in the back. When is that review coming out?
Can you review some product from Griffin? I checked them out locally and their new products are really high quality.
Do these work with an axle?
Look awesome! Does anyone still make 2.5 lbs collars?
I discovered titan fitness in 2015 and I exclusively only bought equipment from them just because the quality has always been amazing for home use and the free shipping cannot be beat!! Titan is my saving grace unfortunately I can never get my hands on their bumper plates because they’re always sold out like their adjustable 200lb dumbells!! I did get my bar from rogue because the boneyard had Ohio bars for $150 which got me a beautiful black oxide Ohio bar but I did get the 60 in bar from titan for small accessory work and because of my limited space it allows me to do barbell exercises in a limited amount of space
I'd buy those.
I'm buying them. I like them
ACTUALLY!!!!!!
For years I keep coming back to this channel just to see if this guy gains any muscle. He never does.
Cool idea and looks like a solid product but not sure I can justify spending over $50 on barbell collars. Also, agree that the Rogue collars are better in terms of security but have you ever hit your knuckle with the clasp? Ouch! Not hard to do especially when tired...
since your review I was interested but they are out of stock for the last month. They must be popular. Supposed to send me an email once back in stock. I like the build on these.
I like Strength Co. collars bc you don’t have to slide them all the way off to put more weight on.
Would like to buy these but don't know if they will fit the 45 lb Fitness Gear Olympic style barbell.
_If you like it then you should have put a knurl on it_
Still waiting for the restock!
You should review the titan fat rackble ez curl bar
Titan ship to Canada at all yet, or still no? Cause man, I like those.
Out of stock 😔 but definitely buying when it comes back
So there’s not chance that these would fit smaller specialty bars like Elite’s SSB?
Unfortunately no, unless they come out with a small diameter version. I tried it, they just slide off. - Coop
@@GarageGymReviewsthat’s unfortunate, thanks for the info Coop 💪
Nice design, for some reason I feel like I'd like a nice fancy set of clips but I find that I can easily fit & remove the bog standard cheapo style clamps easily with only one hand & they are more than adequate for normal weight lifting so I've yet to see a fancy barbell clip that would make me want to ditch my cheapos.
Tells people not to say “actually” than proceeds to say “actually” 15 seconds later. lol
Damn. Just went to Titan website to purchase two pair of these but they are showing as out of stock.
Hmmmm... was very interested to use at my gym because all the plastic collars are worn and loose... but $70 is kinda steep for a quick fix. Especially simce the Rogue's are $20 cheaper and hold better. I HATE wobbly plates lol
Those look cool. Might have to order some. Can you review the Kelli Open collars?
Give the people what they want! Rogue, rep, someone bring the smith machine attachment already!
Magnets? Yaaaaas
Jerry-rig the collar to a washing machine agitator and pop it on extended cycle. Durability test done!
Oooh, great idea! - Coop
WE SAW THE PRX JAMER CABLE ARMS! Don't hide it from us
Seems like a pretty easy torture test. A lot of CrossFit exercises have 20-60 reps. I’d assume dropping it a dozen or so times will cause them to loosen. Why so few reps in the test?
How about integrating this locking mechanism directly into the plate itself? Then any plate can lock and you don't need a collar at all.
With these fit good on the rep ssb amd the rogue Ohio power bar?
Yes to both. - Coop
@@GarageGymReviewsThank you! Love your videos
Looks cool but doesn't seem dramatically better than the lever tension style collars to be honest.
I really like these had I not picked up the rogue aluminum ones I probably would get these. Getting the rogue ones off and on are a little bit of a bitch for an old weak handed putz like myself...
Id pick them up
Wow they were just released that was fast
Because this channel does paid reviews. Congrats: you just watched an informercial.
@@pkd.81 Was money exchanged?
Like reviewers in just about every other industry, we sometimes get samples ahead of time. Especially when the companies think what they've got is good. - Coop
@@pkd.81 more like they filmed this prior to the launch and had it ready upon the product being released. As far as being paid even IF true as long as the review is honest showing the cons and benefits I take no issue. Thank you for the "congrats" but I don't need it for watching a video about a product I was genuinely interested about even if an infomercial. Hey congrats on commenting (see it's off-putting)...
@@GarageGymReviewsthanks Coop keep up the good work congrats on DB benching maxed out Repins!
I've been trying to find the perfect collar for my young kid. I don't trust him to use the Rogue aluminum ones without losing a finger or breaking his hand taking them off. These might just be the perfect solution!
You forgot about the Strength Co collars 😉
2:51 Titan pretty well
i didn't see the grip gene collar locks, have you really tested every collar lock unequivocally
Yes, used them at Jujimufu's gym home. - Coop
If you don't do anything crazy with the bar just go to harbor freight. Buy some cheap plastic clamps that are big enough. They're like 2$ each. I use them all the time on squat and deadlift. I have even used them on Olympic lifts to varying degrees of success. If they break no big deal go buy another one or two or just put duct tape on it.
While I get the safety aspect of not having collars on when benching, I really hate the plates moving around. Someone should make a collar that is purposefully weak, so it can hold the plates together, but will slide off if you fail and tip the bar.
how would you tell the difference in a gym full of collars the weak v. the strong ones?
Titan currently has these on sale for 15% off
I just was on the website and they didn't have that. If you bundle a Titan series Olympic barbell... You can get that
I didn't bundle and still got a lower price
Same I just added the collars only and it gave me the 15% off still.
I believe Eleiko training collars have knurling on them.
Always put the collars. For bench to, and ask for a spot
💪🌪
Im convinced this is some sort of test to see if people will listen to Coop talk about a collar for 16 minutes. I tapped at 5 minutes and I'm embarrassed to say I lasted that long.
I’m convinced it’s a video about a barbell collar. Crazy world.
testing HOLD is best done
w/ multiple plates like 45s
and 3pr of 10s so you get
the energy transfer effect
which really loosens...
especially from an
overhead drop onto
stall mats on concrete
You twisted them quick.. How about when you crank down on them, I assume they hold even better?
Most shocking is Titan might have an engineer on their payroll
How are these not called Twist-to-Titan collars? Or Twist-Titaners? or Titan Tightens?
you need a light on the video image, it looks too dimmed
I feel like Titan needs a premium redesign if they are gonna be shooting for the bougie gym bro dollars. Their font and helm branding is pretty dorky.
Actually.... there's the Gorila competition collars
I have a friend he owns a CrossFit gym he bought some pull up bars for his rig to add to the class rig and 2 of them was from titan fitness. He had 2 people jump up on the titan bar and after the first person it was fine the second person the next day the bar broke off the rig the bar was bolted in to the up rights all the holes had bolts in it was super tight as well. The bar broke at the right after the bracket that attaches to the rig the weld broke on it. They refuse to use titan equipment for now on.
These are collars, not a pull up bar. Probably not even made by the same people, just have the same Titan sticker on them.
10:18 I was scared
they need a steel version
for less crackability
I had the Eleiko collars. They sucked, I sold them. Ton of force to lock and unlock them, not faster than my cheapie plastic snap collars at all. Maybe it was an early batch that was made poorly but that's what you get when you outsource to Asia.
Why don't you review racks and benches from smaller brands more frequently?
any tips for removing the Titan branding?
Sharpie. Plasti dip.
@@jaleesa00 was more of a joke about how Titan is perceived by the home gym community
