Bought one today at REI Co-op, and love it already. Body heat starts noticeably building quickly, and I also like the slim profile. I am 74 in / 1.88 m, 188 lb / 85 kilos, and the large fits perfectly.
Am looking for a jacket which I can use for day to day wear around town in San Francisco where temperatures can range from mid 60s to high 40s with decent bit of wind. Would you recommend this jacket for these conditions? Thanks
Patagonia release a new nano puff in 2017 and i think the size on those are a little different , can you conffirm that ? in my city we don't have a store who sell patagonia's product and if a want to buy one i need to do it online. (i'm 6feet tall like you so if feet for you it must feet for me too)
Thanks for the question. Watch the video around 3:15. Luke Mentions that he is wearing a medium and he usually wears size large in Patagonia. The size medium is a bit short on him, so we might suggest sizing up to the large if you are 6' tall or taller.
In order to have a mid Layer under my hardshell Patagonia Jacket, what it could be the better choice between nano air and nano puff in order of warmth?
The Nano Puff is warmer than the Nano Air. However, the Nano Air is going to be more breathable and will wick sweat better than the Nano Puff. Under a hardshell, the Nano Air may be more comfortable from a breathability standpoint, but the Nano Puff will be warmer overall.
Hi Ivan, thanks for watching! There is a chance of loft degradation with any synthetic insulation. That said, PrimaLoft Gold is extremely high quality and arguably the best synthetic insulation available
Hi Roberto! Patagonia recommends selecting a size based on measurements. A size Small will fit chests 35-37", waists 29-30", and has sleeves 33"; a size Medium will fit chests 38-40", waists 31-33", and has sleeves 34"; a size Large will fit chests 42-44", waists 34-36", and has sleeves 35"; and a size XLarge will fit chests 46-48", waists 38-40", and has sleeves 36";
I read reviews on Reddit stating that the Patagonia nano puff his overall far better than the thermal ball from Northface. Patagonia just has that extra quality control. Hope this helps!
They are both great jackets. The Nano Puff uses synthetic insulation, while the Cerium SL uses a combination of down and synthetics. This means the Nano Puff will probably perform better in wet conditions, but its probably not quite as warm as the Cerium SL for general use.
I like the cerium but I’m loyal to Patagonia and they’re brand focus of keeping loyal customers, if the Patagonia jacket rips you are guaranteed a great repair
Thanks for asking but we unfortunately don't know the original color name. This is an older style from about three years ago and Patagonia is no longer making this colorway.
The color Luke is wearing in this video is the Navy Blue for the 2016 version of this jacket. We are unfortunately out of stock at the moment. Thanks for watching!
I have one :3. First i wanted northface, and i moved to a different community.. They only wore Patagonia, and of course i got sucked into the fashion..
I'm 5'10" and the Medium is too short for me on the 2018/2019 jackets. FYI to anyone looking - think the sizing has changed

Hope you enjoy Daniel. Check out our store too next time!
i found that sizing is bit tricky with this jacket... medium too tight and Large is too large.
abigcess Me too but went with a large because I can wear a sweater underneath easier.
I just ordered a medium but I'm also in between a med and large
@@bennett138 @ryan behshad same question haha
Found the exact same thing today. Small is way too small and medium is just too baggy. So confusing
Might be a bit over weight. If your thin you won’t have this issue
I own two of these. Keeps super warm.
These make me feel cozy & loved...AND their super comfortable. :)
Good review! Bought one at REI for 98 bucks! Looking forward to wearing it this winter.
I'm 5'9'' and 188 lbs. Large fits me perfect. Purchased August 2022.
I’m 5’8 190 . Hope an L fits
Just bought mine yesterday. Eagerly waiting to receive.😊
Thanks!
This is good "by itself" at 45°F but anything below that requires a couple of layers
What a great commentary and review. Especially helpful was Luke's ht/wt and his perspective that the medium was a bit snug and short.
Cheers!

I am 5, 7” tall and weigh 140 lbs, will size small be good for me
Small should work! Size chart is here: www.patagonia.com/size-mens-tops.html

Think I'll be picking one of these up. What would you suggest for a rain/snow shell?
will the warmth diminish over time as it does with most synthetic jackets?

Is this jacket equivalent to The North Face Thermoball jacket?
yes

Marko Polo link?
Yes, I'll go with the thermo ball

I’m 5’9, 155 lbs, would a small fit me ok?
Patagonia recommends selecting a size based on measurements. The Small size fits chest measurements 35"-37", waists 29"-30", and sleeves 33".
What's the name of this colour?
Thanks for asking but we unfortunately don't know the original color name. This is an older style from about three years ago and Patagonia is no longer making this colorway.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer international shipping.
