- Much of Chicago River has frozen over, as the US city experiences close to record low temperatures.
It could get as cold as -33C (-27F), with winds making that feel closer to -45C (-50F), officials say.

I've been there in the bitter tundra of January back in 1992. Way before the internet existed. Ice crystals will form on you just being outside for 2 minutes. The Windy City is nothing to joke about.

School was canceled all week so far. 🤣 busses... they evidently can't drive in the rule areas and side streets i doubt they keep plugged in to even start.. so I'm assuming tomorrow it'll be canceled to🙄
Funny thing about that, remember hearing ot parents say " oh i walked 3 miles to school" lol well i walked a mile🤣 these kids now days act like they'll fall apart and their lives will be ruined standing at a bus stop... like a lagit 2 min. walk from their house🙄
