      I was there last year in February and it was 9° when when I arrived at the airport..and I'd never felt such cold in my life.😱 I can imagine what it must feel like now stay safe please😟😧

      I was homelessthat best place to b homeless is south Florida. All of the beds r full in the homeless shelters,most of the occupants are from people from the north who would rather b homeless here in South Florida.     I work at jimmy johns as a delivery driver in illinois, my shift start in 20 min, and it feels like -49 with actually temp being -21, they have not closed the store and we are one of the only buisnesses open today in our area, even mail, and trashmen are not working today, some mcdonalds closed to:( im shitty.

      Where I live its -25 F. That would be around -32 C. In Minnesota where its the coldest, it is getting upwards of -53 C. Hope I helped.

      -50F windchill they are getting is -45c windchill. Actual Temp in Chicago on Wednesday was -30c -23F. Manitoba and Saskatchewan on Wednesday had -47.2c and windchill of -52c So -53F actual -62F with the windchill. (-52°C × 9/5) + 32 = -61.6°F

    Hello USA! That is called at least here in Northern Europe, in partly arctic Finland, normal mid-winter, wich comes every year and the coldest time is normally during January and the beginning of February. Our this winter coldness record is from a few days ago 27.1.2019 from Sodankylä (Northern Finland arctic Lapland) - 37,8 Celsius and, believe me, it wasn´t any kind of problem for the local Finnish people there.

    That was the coldest day of the winter ! I came home from the West Allis Memorial hospital that day and the heat kept kicking in it was so bitterly cold out ! Ill never forget how brutal and fridgid the cold temps were that day and the next day too did not go to Partial the next day ! We had a winter storm Warning a big one a few days before the bitterly cold Jan 30th to Jan 31 Days !

    This is caused by the polar vortex slipping. The extreme cold of the Arctic and the heat of the tropics used to keep this jet stream wind whizzing around the Arctic and keeping the cold in place. But the Arctic is heating up astronomically and that is making the Polar Vortex go wobbly (like a spinning top slowing down). This is why the extreme cold has spilled out - it's a direct and catastrophic result of a super heated Arctic.

      @@GL-ys8je heat is 10x better than cold imo. They don't cancel school, you can go jump in a pool, you can go on tourist attractions. When its this cold you're restricted to the confinements of your home. Can't do anything but sit at home. If you're outside for more than 5 minutes there's a big chance of you getting frostbite. Fuck that. Can't wait til summer.

    Yea mail was suspended for 2 days and my boyfriend still had to deliver newspapers in Decatur Illinois! I hate that he does that for extra money! The paper company is as cold hearted as the weather!
