Yep accept Canada
I appreciate the Caribbean being represented with people other than Latinos 🇯🇲🇹🇹
Yh they should make this regular
I'm latino and I think that's a fair statement. I would love to see more caribbean representation as well.
Haiti isn’t represented much tho which is sad ;(
@@ishmilky6287 I don't think Haiti is not represented. I believe it may be harder to find alot of Haitian Americans interested in content creation at BuzzFeed, the same goes for Trinis and Jamaicans. I will add that there is someone at Buzzfeed with Haitian heritage who did a video on Griot. Ps Haitians are technically Latinos

I truly cringe when people say plan-taain. 🙄 It's plan-tin. Period. 🇯🇲
I truly cringe when people insist their pronunciation is the only acceptable one.
People who eat it traditionally from many other parts of the world (e.g., Ghana, Nigeria) say "plan-tAYn" because that is the standard English pronunciation. "Ai" makes the AY sound in standard English (e.g., rain, wait, sail, chain). It's not wrong nor is the jamaican pronunciation wrong. Just different variations.
Gyam S. 🤣 You really wasted your time to explain nothing. I don't care about the "standard" obviously. 🙄 🤦🏾♀️

In Mexico we also drink hibiscus, and we call it Jamaica
It’s by far the best juice I’ve ever had

I liked this. They were so sweet and considerate of each other. Sometimes with these videos, things can get more competitive. They were just chillin and enjoying each other's traditions. Love it! More like this, please!
When the lady said "it's nice when different cultures have different names for the same things" I literally thought of it right before it was said, that coconut cake she was talking of sounds like a coconut candy from PR , I know sometimes it shows as Dulce De Coco but it's like coconut with sugar cane in a ball, sometimes a block, or big round and a little bulky like a cookie, but it taste amazing. I wonder if it's the same! :)
