Recycled Bottle Cordage - Testing and Some Thoughts

A little bit of testing on my recycled plastic bottle cordage and a some thoughts on how i think this would work out in the field.

If you want to increase it's strength try braiding 4 strands together and that might take away from the sharp edges too.

Thx WH. if a controlled amount of heat is applied along the length of this recycled cordage, the abrasive edges will be relieved. controlled heat applied to the lashing will allow the plastic to act as a shrink wrap, thus tightening the joint.
