    Mediterranean Diet For Beginners Explained
So what exactly is the Mediterranean Diet? Why don’t you hear more about it? Where did it come from?
The Mediterranean Diet is exactly what it sounds like: this is simply the cuisine that people living around the Mediterranean have been enjoying for many years.
The diet consists of lots of fruits, vegetables, fish, cheese, nuts, oils, and a little red wine.

How about subtitles? I am deaf and researching for the Med diet. Came across your video, and disappointed that there were no subtitles! Couldn’t watch it.

I think the amount of sun has something to do with it. Here in north england summer sun can be 3 or 4 weeks at the most some years. It produces vitamin d, makes you feel better, less tired and is a definite health boost.

Chicken is not good for your health. They are fed GMO corn which has been shown to cause tumors in rats. There's also some rumors that they are being fed statins as well to lower the cholesterol in the eggs which is a really, really bad idea. In addition, the chickens that are being produced today are abnormal and very fatty (not the good fat). The only fat you want to be consuming is olive oil. I wouldn't even eat fish because most of them are factory-farmed and fed garbage. A study was done and it was found that 90% of factory farmed salmon sold was predominantly lice that they were infected with. Yummy.

@@pennykeller3048 it is very sad. Our government does not have our best interests in mind. Glyphosate and Dicamba (among all the other hundreds of pesticides and herbicides) should have been banned years ago. In addition, no animal should be created just to be murdered, that's pure evil. The Cornish cross typically is killed at 3 months old. If they are allowed to live past a year they will die because their breasts get too heavy for blood flow to sustain it. A normal chicken's lifespan is about the same as a dogs.

From what I understand so far, nuts, certain fish, bread high in protein/fiber, avocados and there's quite a few more options.

FAT is good-- the RIGHT kind-- and the oil--- well, when we reach a certain level of fat intake-- the body will SWITCH and begin to BURN FAT for fuel instead of other things.. I knOW that to be true from my year and half on carnivore-- but I'm just SICK of meat.

I would love to be on Carnivore but it didn't work for me it just made me gain weight and I think it's because of my race I really believe they're carnivores for certain races or certain body types or something but I loved it but my body didn't LOL

@@KatinaLifeCoach4444 Didn't work for me either--was great first 3-4 months- then allthe benefits (pain gone, breathing good, energy, etc) suddenly came back and now I hate MEAT (or rather just sick of it).. and can't eat grains, dairy, fruit- and most veggies.. so I'm pretty well screwed.

    • @chrystalthornton1502

Late to the party here, but just want to say I hated carnivore. Made me so sick I only lasted about 2 weeks. Just want to mention that fiber is what the gut microbiome feeds on, so if you don't eat any fiber you starve off all the digestive flora you need to handle fruits, vegetables and all the other good stuff. If you want to eat anything besides meat again, you'll have to reintroduce it a little at a time, and give your digestive system a chance to adjust.
