- A demonstration of how and what a BodyScoop is and does. Designed for Funeral Home and Morgue use, the BodyScoop allows one person to lift people of immense size easily and safely. No more straining the back or having multiple people lift one body. Simple, effective, and works like a charm!

You have to give props to the guys who let this person lift him up and transfer him into the coffin. Most people may not have noticed him breathing throughout the video. Right around .50 seconds in, the guy on the table actually lifted his left leg to assist the hoist guy. Hopefully they were nice enough to use this device to remove him from the coffin. That guy is big and it would be a chore getting out.

Bravo! Great device...will save the backs and possible careers of many live undertakers! I have a former undertaker buddy who switched careers because of the pain of lifting bodies. This device would pay for itself many times over.
All hospitals need one or more of these!!

Man...at about 1:33 when he was being put in the coffin...the scoop bars moved his hands & It looked like he was moving his hands on his own!!!
I had to go back & watch this video again at that time frame...then I realized he was alive & breathing.
But still at first this FREAKED ME OUT!!!

Great idea. Every nursing home needs 2-3 or those lifts. Instead of the hoyer lift that's tilt over or a very heavy person could fall out.

This looks very helpful for a funeral home, but might also be in care centers where patients/residents must be taken for baths etc. There seems to be a lot of freedom of movement and smooth slide. very nice, I like it. I wonder what the lift looks like from the ceiling, I mean, what it is installed like.

That’s what I need to get me out of bed in the morning 😂 it’s not dissimilar to the hoists I use for patients who can’t walk or use a steady. Saves your back anyway 😊❤️👏🏽

What an awesome concept especially if someone is obese and has mobility issues with getting up out of bed and need lifted to be able to move from one place.to another it could also have a lot of practical issues for things such as bathing to make lifting them so much easier and not just as dead weight literally .
A good helping tool to save backs, as the people keep getting fatter and fatter pretty soon funeral homes are going to need cranes. Oversized coffins exceed the hearses door width and require flat bed trucks to transport the coffins.
The music was very nice, soothing and appropriate.... and if I may respectively so say, it makes the dead body less stressed (not trying to be funny here).

Reminds me of one of those GLASS PRIZE BOX MACHINES that you put a quarter in to grab a stuffed animal for you, and it 'drops' half the time BEFORE it gets to the receptacle where you reach in to get your prize. though he was alive to, but if you watch as he is placed in the casket, his hands get pushed together from the sides of the casket,and looking at the color of his face and it did look like he was breathing,but just a couple of shallow movements, cause the body was just settling in place
