This is like RUclips crack!! Thanks for all your videos! I enjoy the technical details and workmanship along with your thought process on how to make it happen. Hope to see you out there someday!
I will be following your build closly. I resently went to a cyclecart event near rainy Leicester in England. A really friendly event, and it was a job to get away without promising to build one!
@@stevevinson6030 I noticed you don't have an email listed. I was hoping to ask you for your plans so I could make a version of this for BeamNG when you're finished with the project :)
OK maybe it’s obvious but where are you planning to put the engine on this one? If you’re putting it in the front that would be nice to see that you could use an exhaust pipe that would look like all the fake exhaust pipes. Then you could run a chain down the length of the chassis to the rear suspension pivot plant and then have a second gear from the idler to the drive axle so that as the suspension moves, it won’t caused the chain to derail. Of course you need The idler arm and drive axle set up, even if you put the engine on the rear deck.
@@stevevinson6030 The basic geometry if you don’t have an idler arm at the pivot point, will cause the chain to get tight and possibly damage the engine or axle or chain when the spring compresses making the axle, go up, which will swing away from the engine. When the axle is going down as the suspension recovers or drops down, some, it will become slack, and the chain can derail.

I really like this one, can't wait to see it done.
Thanks, your build is super cool too.
That's a really cool car to build! Looking forward to this series!
Thanks!
I think it’s a good design I’m looking forward to seeing you build it. Thanks Steve
You and me both!
That will be one impressive kart when you are done. Will be following this one for sure.
Thanks, I am learning how to do this all over, as this is a completely new design for me.
Interesting car! It will be fun watching this build, Steve. I like the swing suspension for the rear axle.
This one is all new to me, so a bit nervous actually
@@stevevinson6030 I think you have a Traxxas Slash hanging behind you look at that for possible inspiration.
I have total confidence in you.
I like the new project Steve and that moustache keep them both growing boy . 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇦
Thanks, the stache will match the kart
I dig those wheels, I was thinking of doing a Edwardian kart to!
It is a new adventure, I blame Kelly
This is going to be a sweet build Steve, looking forward to seeing the final product.
Thanks, this one is a challenge
This is pure mechanical Art!

I appreciate that!

Very few who have built a CycleKart have regretted it
That moustache is starting to develop a life of its own.
it has its own area code.
huh I didn't realise you go so far, I thought they'd all be the same but with a different body. This is a really cool build :)
Certain inspiration cars require a different approach. They all start to look a little similar otherwise, this is going to be fun one

it will be mounted on a swing arm under the seat and connected to the axle via a chain, just like a standard cyclekart

@@duanemiller5606 Pretty sure he will have the engine mounted to the swing arm/rear axle so it will remain in the same plane as the axle.
Thanks. Steve for your reply. Would it be possible to send a set of your plans as I’m just starting a cycle kart. Thanks. Clive. Uk
