Anigen simply means means antibody-generator.So antigen induces humoral response and antibody production while immunogenicity implies both humoral and cellular response.

In your two examples the antibodies bind the same antigen substance yet in the second case there is no immune response. If the antigen in the harmless bacteria is the same as in the first, what other factors determined that it would not stimulate an immune response?
