Im a 32 yearold dude... i dont know how I ended up here, but the fifth element is one of me dad and I's favorite movies. this was a fantastic watch! Not only is it screen worthy accurate, but for any cosplayers out there its very informative in how to make costumes. Pins seem to be the bread and butter of sewing!! I'll be watching more for sure, it was very fun to see!
Yeah I love how different all the costumes for the different characters are! I don't pick based on difficultly cause that would be so limiting, I just base it on how much I love the characters! All about the fun!

That is totally brilliant. I had to look twice to be sure. Don't forget the Henna tattoo on your wrist to be the best of the best! I had one done on my wrist but got 90 degrees out of kilter, curses, never mind I still love it.
I found this video a useful reference for colours on leeloo's outfit while painting a miniature figure of the character. You did a great job on the outfit and it's interesting to learn how it was made.
I actually found this video about Leloo way more interesting than the one about making the wings. I have to admit I know absolutely nothing about makeup. But it is surprising to me that by putting it on a certain way you can sort of change how your face looks. Like the highlights on the nose. That is so clever! You really look like Leloo now! I bet you could make yourself look like anyone. Better yet you know how to act like the characters too! The facial expressions!

If you ever intend on wearing him again, I'd love to see your process for your Lestat makeup / wig / and outfit? Of course only if it ever comes up for a con again, he's one of my favourite characters and your cosplay is tremendous, and it really inspired me to want to make a Lestat outfit.
That was amazing to watch. When you wore the Leelo costume without your makeup you looked totally different, I would have been hard pressed to say you were both the same person.
You are such a brave soul, I can never get ribbon or trim to look good on stretch fabric! I painted my black stripes on, maybe more labor intensive but it was easier. And I love that you are supporting other costume makers but if anyone is reading this and can't afford the suspenders for the $150 price tag, the X Coser pair (can get for $50 on Amazon) were incredibly well made and fit me to a tee. They are extremely sturdy and made of a thick but flexable silicone. Have worn it many times all year and haven't had a single issue.
I bet painting them looked just as good! Whatever works!! Thanks for other recommendations too ! The ones I own are perfect, but I if people have a tighter budget I understand that!

This transformation was arguably less labor intensive than other ones you've uploaded, but just as perfect and flawless none the less.
