The fact that you do better with cheap supplies than someone with all the most expensive makeup and gear you can get is amazing. You have true talent. Glue sticks for scars? Genius!!
CHloE748 please dont use glue sticks. Eye lash glue or glue for halloween protetics (u know elf ears and stuff) should work perfectly, it is not that pricy AND it is actually meant for the skin.
There is nothing wrong with using Elmers gluesticks. The worse that might happen is it clogs your pores or irritate your skin if removed roughly or without water (as most *even* skin purposed glues do). Or an allergic reaction that can happen with ANYTHING. I am allergic to Latex and spirit gum meant for "halloween prosthetics" & skin. I blister and and get chemical burns from them. I have extremely sensitive skin and Elmers glue sticks is the only thing I've been able to use for scars and eyebrow that is gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all. Many professional FX makeup artist use it because it is easily accessible but also NON-TOXIC, gentle on sensitive skin like mine (& even edible) I have use this method for over 10 years on incredibly sensitive skin without any issues. So as much as I appreciate the concern for others "safety", but please do no give non-helpful, misleading information. Thank you.
Edward Scissorhands is by far my favorite movie of all time, I am emotionally connected to it on so many levels. The downside is I always find myself being SUPER critical about any makeups of him. Except yours. Yours my dear is the most incredible recreation I have ever seen. You capture the SUBTLY that seems to escape most makeup artists on RUclips. I mean I expect this level of accuracy from you by now but it deserves mentioning! The attention to detail, lining the waterline with a soft dark line ever so delicately, highlighting the puffiness, and staying soft on the shadows around the eyes. I feel like I just watch a master chef create a five star meal. You are my personal inspiration and I can't believe I didn't know you had a RUclips channel. I normally fuss over you on Facebook. Can we also take a minute to talk about how you share all your work and don't hoard these amazing techniques to yourself? I've unfortunately run into cosplayers with the "I don't share my secrets" mentality. None of us would be here if it wasn't for the willingness of others! I never write this much on a RUclips video but damn girl. You're my queen.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me such a wonderful comment!! I am so glad that such a die hard fan appreciates my tribute to one of my favorite movies
Wow!! The concealing the hairline trick is so clever, oml!! I never knew that would be possible! And using Elmer's glue sticks for scars is absolutely genius!! I am definitely going to be using some of these tricks, tysm!!!
WOW - your transformation is quite amazing. From your makeup, costume, and wig, I doubt most people would know you were a woman (that's meant as a compliment, by the way). The before and after is just stunning; I think Johnny Depp and Tim Burton would be very proud.
just wanna know if you've done the Hatter... because you are so good at doing Johnny's face structure it's almost hard to tell you apart lol you can literally do any Johnny Depp character
The costume! The costume! Oh my God the costume! How the freaking what the oh my god the costume! You are everything! The costume is amazing and the makeup is perfect. Oh my god, I cannot contain myself, I love this.
You’re artistry is amazing, I truly admire how you are able to transform yourself into these great characters!! I have been binge watching your videos for (2) days now. New subscriber 😊
It's amazing what you can do with drug store makeup (and Elmer's Glue). You are a true artist. Every video is like a present. Thank you for sharing this!
I love your work! It's amazing on so many levels! All your cosplays are so detailed oriented. I like seeing your progression and how everything comes together at the end. And even all your videos are entertaining to watch. You never cease to astound and you're truly an inspiration.
You always inspire me to make my costumes I was Jack Sparrow last year thanks to you. I'm in the process of Edward now. thank you for creating and inspiring 💕
You have such a versatile face that works for all of the cosplay makeup tutorials I've seen you post. Amazing work, as well, and super creative with the glue.
EvaValenti (ember-snow) this is insane. A week ago I saw your comment on one of yoyomax12s videos from 2 years ago about her spaghetti sauce recipe. Then I was browsing through random RUclips videos and here you are again. I even double checked the yoyomax video to make sure it was the same person and it was you. the odds of finding the same person on two RUclips videos posted years apart that are not related to each other are probably one in a million or even more.
You are truly amazing! I read the New York Post everyday and it is because of the article in their paper today that I am here. You need to do makeup for movies wow wow wow I am going to do a non-stop marathon of your videos. So proud of your hard work.
Thanks for making this video. I had my first ever go at fancy dress make up and followed your video. I got so many positive comments on how I looked and everyone wanted to know how on earth I managed it. Pointed them towards your videos! As I am a total amateur, I quickly learnt two things - make dure you get a super light foundation (the one I borrowed wasn't light enough initially) and working with glue is an art! My scars looked ok but nothing compared to yours. That skill must take practice!
Awesome job, thanks for the tips, dressing up tomorrow as Edward and live very close to where the opening credits and exterior shots were filmed. After I'm all dressed up, going there and taking pictures!
