Really well put together. I liked the inclusion of the Iowa highlights to really balance it out and give the viewer a better feel for how the game went, the back and forth nature of it all.

Sure glad the Bison were able to get the FG, as Iowa hotshot 14 was holding Urzendowski on the 2 pt conversion attempt.

The questions becomes should NDSU move up? I say yes they should and this is coming from a Boise St fan. Would love to see a BST vs NDSU rivalry. MWC Should jump on NDSU to joined the conf.. Oh by the way Kudos on beating a top Big 10 team👍

So just to start... I am a Bison the NDSU now taking the loss against JMU but for a team to what that team has done over these 6years of straight FBS wins. Now onto what you were saying NDSU Bison is not a big enough of a collage to play in the FBS but some teams they might beat but places like the Fighting Irish or BSU and other huge schools would dominate the Bison. Remember I am a NDSU fan so you know who this is coming from.

Been watching (and mostly cheering) the Bison for nearly 40 years and besides their bonafide football pedigree the one other constant I've seen out of Fargo are the locals' desire to remain a big fish in a small pond. Sure, there are a lot of obstacles for the program moving up, but 20 years ago they were just as doubtful about making the jump from DII to 1AA(FCS). I lived in Fargo and would regularly call local radio call-in shows to debate that point. At one time there were VASTLY more fans who wanted to add a hockey program solely to further their (then) rivalry with the University of North Dakota, than risk a move to 1AA and not being as dominant as the had been in DII. I remember one of the local call-in hosts going on and on about how Fargo should build a hockey arena in downtown Fargo as an incentive for NDSU to add a hockey program, and he had a lot of support from his audience. I was the only person to call in and point out the relative benefits of sticking with their strong suit (the football program) and trying to raise NDSU's, as well as Fargo's profile, by moving THAT program to 1AA instead of adding a new program just because UND had something they didn't. Plus, I pointed out, since 1AA only applied to football, their other programs would be D1 at the highest level. Their women's basketball team had a great run in DII and they've always had strong wrestling and track programs, so my point was wouldn't they rather see NDSU have a chance to shine in the national spotlight than continue dominating football programs even the most ardent of fans had never heard of? At that time one of the smaller schools in the UW system had just made a March Madness appearance, so to add fuel to my argument I pointed out the likelihood of NDSU having similar success. Nobody was having it. They wanted hockey. UND was getting a shiny new, world class hockey arena to go along with their then 6 D1 national titles, and everyone in Fargo was jealous. Incidentally, the Bison men just made their 4th March Madness appearance, an NDSU shot putter just set a new NCAA indoor record last month, and oh yeah, they've won 7 of the last 8 FCS national championships. NDSU/Fargo has hosted ESPN's College GameDay as many or more times than better than half of all Power 5 schools. How's that for national exposure? 20 years ago they never dreamed it could be this good. But just as in their DII days, they're back to their same old tricks of playing all their non-conference games (save for the FBS match-ups) at home and the locals are just as reticent of moving forward as they ever were. According to this article by Alex Kirshner of SBNation, (www.sbnation.com/college-football/2019/1/7/18170160/north-dakota-state-fbs) fewer than a dozen FBS programs would be rock solid favorites against the Bison. Annual contributions from their boosters have increased nearly ten fold since 2000 and made a $1.25M jump in just the last year. Where there's a will, there's a way. The money's out there. The Bison could be a perennial top 25 program. I was right 20 years ago and I'm right now.

@Canes305 they never said FCS was better, just that they love it. What is fun with FCS is that there's a potential upset when they face an FBS team. The entire league is a collective underdog. Hell, SDSU didn't even allow Iowa to get a touchdown in 2022. Obviously FBS gets more views, there's more prestige in the league than FCS. Doesn't mean you can't still love or appreciate FCS

Ya, with a bunch of new faces on defense and the one veteran CJ Smith unable to play because of injury. That defense got schooled up and CJ came back and the 2nd time around it wasn't even close.
