Great producers. However, what Timbaland did for beats in the 90s and early 2000s is otherworldly; what he did to those snares and hi hats put him on an island by himself.
I wouldn’t say that he influenced trap music. He was way more exotic with his sounds and drums. He wasn’t using 808s on everything with the same exact kick, snare, clap, and triple time hats. He was fuckin more with Indian flutes and bending string sounds, etc...I would say Mannie Fresh, Jazze Pha influenced trap more.... Just my opinion
