Not only Paris is beautiful!
Susanna, you are beautiful, too!
You look like a Parisian!
Mille mercis!!
Was thinking the same. You hear so many stories about the (literally) ugly Americans in foreign countries - baseball caps and cargo shorts! LOL! I much prefer looking good and blending in with the natives. Regards from Indiana!
Yes, Paris I love You, what a gorgeous glamorous city! There is so much care given to beauty and creativity, it always inspires.
Agreed!! A culture that cares!
Lovely! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for taking us along on your travels!
Our pleasure! So glad you enjoyed!
Oh more please! Wish PARIS wasn’t so far away from New Zealand!💞
I am so blessed to have been to Paris with my 2 daughters! We had the time of our lives!!
I can imagine!! 👏🏻👏🏻
I have no sense of direction so I've gotten lost in Paris numerous times...only to discover small out-of-the-way shops, cafes and wonderful people. When I was 19 I ditched college and ran away to Paris with only a change of clothes and $100. I lived there for 3 years and it was a wonderful time. (Granted, it was many years ago when it was less expensive.) I actually had my friends send me their old Levi's and I'd sell them to make money. Paris was magic then and magic now. Your video made me want to book a flight. Thanks.
Oh thank you!! I LOVE your adventurous story and that we make you want to revisit!! Merci!
Funny about the Levis! In Barcelona 1975/76 American bowling shirts were all the rage. I didn't have any to sell, but I was right in style! Regards from Indiana!
You rock. What a cool vibe!
@@davidcattin7006 That's funny. It was in 1980 that I was selling Levi's. I love Barcelona. It's actually my favorite large city in the world. Bowling shirts and Levi's...
Sounds like a much better education and investment than college!
I always get excited when that little plane lands and this did not disappoint! Paris is so beautiful. Especially to a 19 year old girl going on her graduation gift. A 6 weeks Tour of Europe Great Britain, oh so many wonderful spots. Hotel on the Place Vendome. Had no idea that a Beatle was being married round the corner. We did as you have said, just now. Walked the out of the way streets, went to France department stores, You have brought it all back, dear girl!
So happy to hear that - thank you! Paris never disappoints!
@Quintessence And never stops calling you back....
@@cornerstone403 so true!!
Ha, I always get anxious that plane is going to crash, it is a steep descent...
@@L.Spencer 🤣😉
One of the things I enjoy the most is watching your videos. thank you.
Well thank you so much!
Thank YOU
Amazing! This captures the spirit of Paris perfectly
Thanks so much!
You will have to come down to the south of France one day, everything is beautiful here too. Bonne weekend et Merci.
We hope to! Merci!
Oh I love the south of France. What town are you in?
Fond memories of times in Paris! Thanks for reminding me! You are looking great!
🙏🙏🙏
The most elegant and romantic city of the world. Thanks Suzy, and you are always classy
You know, I love Paris, never been, but thanks to RUclips, I almost feel I have. You and Stacy are a true blessing. Happy New Year!!!
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed your vicarious visit!
Mille
Mercis!!
I’m going back this April and cannot wait to just explore. Third trip in as many years and I cannot get enough of Paris and the French countryside. Moving south into Provence after Paris. 😊
Lucky you! Sounds wonderful! Bon voyage!
My husband and I finally made it to Paris a few years ago while visiting our son who lives in London. We took the Chunnel into Paris, and once we were in the cab on our way to the hotel, I was mesmerized by the stately apartments, balconies, etc. "I can't believe we're in Paris!" I said to my husband... a moment I'll never forget. ...and Susanna , what a great hat you got! Tres chic!
So glad you enjoyed your visit to Paris! And isn’t Susanna’s hat great? I have one too!!
I had the privilege of visiting Paris in July 2018 right after Tuor de France, and during the World Cup and Bastille, it was incredible! I like to wander when I travel, no maps, no destinations, just picking a direction and getting lost. Paris is perfect wandering, and when approached with a smile and a polite "what would you recommend?", shop keepers are friendly and welcoming, especially if you're a repeat customer. I met some wonderful people from across the globe, all of whom consider Paris their home. I can't wait for the opportunity to return!
Exactly! We totally agree! Bon voyage!
What a lovely Virtual Postcard .... Thank you so much for both of you!!! Until your next one!!!
Thank YOU!
Paris is indeed the city where you should just wander around and discover, far away from tourist places. The last time I was there, I spent a lot of time in the 7th arrondissement, though my hotel was on rue Cambon. So many fantastic places to see there. Splendid! Paris, city of elegance, city of joy.
Wonderful!! A marvelous city for discovery!
This makes me want to visit France again. I remember staying in a hotel near the Sorbonne and how magical it all was ;it’s the best advice to get lost in Paris. Thank you!
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed and hope you go!
Beautiful
Beautiful footage. Thank you for your amazing escapism to an amazing adventure ❤️
Thank you!! So glad you enjoyed!
Love Paris! Paris and Vienna are my two favorites for beautiful architecture. And I try to design the inside of my house based on both cities' cafes too, the marble and wood bars and tables, so elegant. I grew up in a very industrial town and was saturated with steel, therefore I stay away from iron, steel, etc., preferring natural materials, wood floors, furniture, types more like Vanderbilt mansions. The people who made the most money on the industrial revolution actually had the most beautiful non-industrial houses!
I love Vienna as well! And your house sounds lovely!
Looks like you had a beautiful trip! I hope you enjoyed it! Another fabulous video that I could watch for hours!
Thank you - we did! And so glad you loved tagging along.
That hat looked so chic on you, Susanna!
Didn’t it? And she kindly bought me a similar one for my birthday when we were there!
Thank you.
Enchanting...
Thank you!! 🙏🏻
Beautiful house
Wonderful people
as usual.
👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Merci Madame! As usual, your content and insight hit home. Paris is my favorite city in the world and I go as often as my bank account allows….❤
I don’t blame you! Thank you!
My advice to anyone visiting Paris is to get up early and be out on the streets when the real Paris is alive. Wander through the streets as people head for work and children go to school. Visit the side streets, walk along the river. That is when you will discover not just the charm of the real Paris but also that the Parisians are not the standoffish people of the stereotype, instead you find that they are charming people who respond to a smile and a few words in French. I love to stay in small, central hotels, often surrounded by apartment buildings. I've relaxed at the windows of such hotels, and Parisians in their apartments opposite have called across the narrow street for a chat.
Paris is the "City of Light" and the "City of Love", but it is also an intimate, charming, and friendly city. Probably, apart from my home, Paris is my favourite place to be.
Great advice and couldn't agree more - a marvelous city that always inspires and delights!
It truly is ALWAYS a good idea. How fun!!! I see some of my favorite spots there! Lovely postcard.
Thank you Ignacio! Couldn’t agree more! 🙏🏻
Next time in Paris, I’ll ditch the map! I love Paris❤!
👍🏻
Paris is wonderful - you can walk and then take the metro back. Or take the metro in-between your expeditions 😉
True!
Bonjour mes amies ! Happy New Year. Wonderful to see you in Paris, such a wonderful city. A bientôt, I hope on You Tube for more videos. Much love your way. Bisous oxox - Rosalind -

Precioso!

Thank you!
Ich liebe❤Paris❤
Ich auch!
I’ve been saving my miles but undecided where to go
👏👏👏👏
My best time in Paris was after being disappointed in love, I wandered the streets with a bottle of very good Scotch and drowned my miseries on the I ‘lle St Louis. Crashed in a room in le Marais. Nice.
Silver lining…
Ps how was the food at the Allard ? That’s one of the brassieres I want to visit
It’s very old school but wonderful- and nothing beats the entrance : it’s like walking into a secret little world
@@susannasalk7153 thank you Susanna. From what I understand it’s an Alain Ducasse owned / supervised restaurant and the chef du maison is Letitia Rouabah who is wonderful. It’s going to definitely be on my list. PS I LOVE your YT channel! Your curated eye for all things beautiful 😉😘
We’re you there for fun or we’re you working?
I’m always working (6 shoots in 6 days) and having fun!
We were shooting several At Home with videos - stay tuned! But we always have fun and explore!
Sounds like you caught a cold in Paris 🤧
