Enough said on that ongoing problem that needs to be sorted before console developer's launch their new gen console's... It's wrong that if gamers bought the physical version of the game then they lost out in alot of game content & that to me is these console & game's developer's attempt to take out the middle man/being retail stores/so that they control all sales of these games & extra content... Ps Thankfully the news on " Starlink BFA " is that it was pretty much perfect at launch/As All Gam'es Should Be At Launch/ & didn't have any ongoing problems... I'm all for buying some extra DLC's to help support game's developer's, but since half way through the life cycle/span of the Last Gen Console's & now the Current Gen Console's it's has gotten so out of hand to the point game's developer's don't even bother or hesitate to release current gen games that aren't fully finished/tested for quality control & with all game content added within said game's at launch... Don't You See!.. They are not selling you extra DLC content, & back a few years ago they at least used to wait a few months & then release the extra DLC to make it look like they made this content after the games launch/but rather they are delibaretly withholding game content from the game that's already been developed at & for the games initial launch date but then they have the gall to charge gamer's for the so called full experience by only allowing this extra content via purchasing it from the console's online games store... There should be no more of this withholding of gaming content & selling it for a certain price at launch/no more faulty & glitchy games when originally released & definitely No Loot Crates... As a very long time gamer I don't think that's asking too much & it's up to gamers to make their voices heard as we did with Star Wars Battlefront II & the farce that is the recently released " Anthem " which is so bad it's bricking & breaking gamer's console's & that right there is where we've come to & it has to stop & if it doesn't then walk away & spend your hard earned cash on something else... . . . . .
why is none of the reviewers adressing the fact that you can either buy physical or digital ships? it's very missleading, when I got my starter pack I also bought the lance ship on physical because all the reviewers kept saying that if you bought physical you would only be stuck playing with the 2 ships it comes with or needed to buy more toys, but when I got the game I found out you could still buy the other ships digitally half the price of a physical one, people please explain that to your viewers. Even if you have physical you can still get more ships digitally for a fee.
This game is amazing for what it’s worth there is nothin in the market like this, I’m having a blast with this game I’m playing on the hardest difficulty. The environments are beautiful and the characters are cool as fuck they made a tight ass universe give it a try. There is a lot of customization in this game you kind of make the experience you want to have.
No one going to mention how if you purchase the physical edition you cannot complete some of the challenge towers without spending more money for weapons with the correct elements. It locks you out of completing content, not "make it more challenging."
Digital or toys? I am going to buy all the toys. I got a lot of them all ready. You can buy the other crafts digital same with the figures but I like the toy versions. I thought this was a cash grab game where buying real world physical items is how you upgrade your ship, almost as if the idea of selling toys was first then they Re-built No Man's Sky around it. The star fox idea for the switch is awesome, if i had a Switch I... could be persuaded to buy it, but hell! why stop there?! X-Wing, Colonial Viper, Gunstar, Starfury, VF1 - Valkyrie, Federation Attack Fighter, Swordfish, Vic Viper, soooooo many awesome space fighters exist that would be awesome in this game, It's kind of a drag that only starfox's R-Wing exists, everyone who likes it will own it... which is not a bad thing if your 3 other friends in the game with you fly R-Wings. (they even say you can play and finish the game without buying any of the upgrades but it's very very hard)
I feel like it’s not a replacement for Star Fox though, the enemy mechanics and level design aren’t as tightly designed, but I guess it’s nice that they have dog fights.
Can i buy a physical copy game only and then i will buy a digital version in the Eshop to get all DLC, it will be download a DLC only or download the game again with DLC? Anyone know it?
maybe in the next 4-5 yrs I'll consider buying this game since Nintendo doesn't drop their prices anytime soon. hopefully in the near future theres an actual new starfox game for the switch thats actually worth full price.

@@Wclipped I mean you can use normal weapons and stuff like that but it's basically telling you what weapons will be super effective against that boss like Pokemon
9:05 well duh... you are getting actual physical toys. Of course you will spend more. While I think the toys could be cheaper, that goes for almost all toys in general. Have you seen the price of action figures lately? My biggest disappointment is that you are limited to all digital or all physical. If you buy a couple of physical toys because you think they look cool, but expect to buy the cheaper digital versions of something things like pilots and weapons, you will be disappointing to find you cant mix and match digital and physical. What you are left with is, unlocking the digital version for a week for the toys you have but then playing the game all digitally if you expect to use those digital weapons you bought. I just wish they would update it so you can add a digital weapon to an empty toy slot or something.
If you get it physically you'll have to buy everything besides the stuff they give you, the digital version gives you almost everything and the deluxe digital version gives you everything and I'm assuming acts as a season pass for the second wave of ships and pilots (don't quote me on that.)
So is this a strait up pay to win single player game? like you don't have weapons and ships unless you strait up purchase them separate from the game? Or can you unlock everything inside the game but it might take you longer?
I would've bought the physical version of this game if there was a currency in game that allowed me to buy the other ships and pilots. Since there's no way to aquire anything without toys I will not buy this game AT ALL.
There's the digital version, it. Gives you almost everything or you can get the deluxe digital version which gives you everything and a season pass for the second wave of pilots and ships.
@@nodtomodley9114yea i get that the digital deluxe and digital versions might be a bit better. Still I feel like this is bad business when you buy a game you get everything or at least the ability to get everything you shouldn't need to shell out more cash to get the COMPLETE game.

I saw this in BestBuy and am thinking about getting the Starter Pack!
why is none of the reviewers adressing the fact that you can either buy physical or digital ships? it's very missleading, when I got my starter pack I also bought the lance ship on physical because all the reviewers kept saying that if you bought physical you would only be stuck playing with the 2 ships it comes with or needed to buy more toys, but when I got the game I found out you could still buy the other ships digitally half the price of a physical one, people please explain that to your viewers. Even if you have physical you can still get more ships digitally for a fee.
Definitely getting the switch version eventually. I need to get through my game catalog first
This game is amazing for what it’s worth there is nothin in the market like this, I’m having a blast with this game I’m playing on the hardest difficulty.
The environments are beautiful and the characters are cool as fuck they made a tight ass universe give it a try.
There is a lot of customization in this game you kind of make the experience you want to have.
The game is ambitious i dont know why people are bashing it but now days people just bash everything including there heads
The gaming community is full of pessimistic fucktards.
Only be warned you can buy the pilots loose but some of the same pilots come with the ships. I did not no that no I have a few double figures. The different kinds of weapons have a color marking so you can see what weapons does what kind of damage
Seems like it as potential if it gets another game at the very least.
I feel like it’s not a replacement for Star Fox though, the enemy mechanics and level design aren’t as tightly designed, but I guess it’s nice that they have dog fights.
I dunno..sounds like a pretty *expensive* gaming experience to me.
(Also, yay for Jess McDonell as Narrator!)
Just got it free from the Ubisoft store. Looks pretty fun
They gave it a 7
guess nintendo didnt shove enough marketing dollars in there pockets
This game looks awesome, appreciate the honesty review as well.
She ordered french fries and put them on her head?! God damn kids!!!
I was wondering if we dont buy the toys we still get to customize the plane or not?
Such a waste you can't ever leave the ship and go explore on foot like an RPG. Hopefully it sells well enuff for a sequel that does that.
Play no man's sky
No man's sky isn't on Switch unfortunately
The sequel will be badass
Play No Man Sky, I like this game the way it is, fast fluid and have 2 player splitscreen
Every time a space shooter franchise tacked on foot gameplay in future installments, it just sucked. I prefer a game that is full ship gameplay.
looks like No mans sky. I wonder if NMS would run on the Switch? That would be a good Switch game.
The cyclops is straight from destiny actually one of the entire planets is almost an exact copy I hope it’s a reference and not a copy and paste
Hmmm, might wait for a sale on this one so I can get the deluxe ED cheaper.
Can i buy a physical copy game only and then i will buy a digital version in the Eshop to get all DLC, it will be download a DLC only or download the game again with DLC? Anyone know it?
Almost a Blaster Master experience
Got the collector's ediiton on ps4 for $33 today! 😎🇵🇭
I bought this game on PlayStation 4 and I love it. It is so much fun to play.
Is this game like No Man's Sky?
No! I'd say it's more like fifa 19.
@@Mackem_uk 😂😂😂
Yep
maybe in the next 4-5 yrs I'll consider buying this game since Nintendo doesn't drop their prices anytime soon. hopefully in the near future theres an actual new starfox game for the switch thats actually worth full price.
This isn't nintendo its ubisoft.
I meant the prices for Nintendo switch games in general, not exclusives.
Ubisoft games go on sale all the time on Switch.
It's $30 on the eShop rn. I'm trying to decide if I should buy it
If i buy the physical ps4 starter set for $30 on amazon am i completely locked in to getting further content only physically or can ships be bought digitally with a physical copy?
Rereading that makes me think games are getting too confusing lol!
1:18 recommended weapons
Oh no
That only happens on easy and normal difficulty.
@@nodtomodley9114 oh alright i thought i was gonna need the right parts for every battle
@@Wclipped I mean you can use normal weapons and stuff like that but it's basically telling you what weapons will be super effective against that boss like Pokemon
Toys to life is finally back...
OMG that Star Fox song!!!
Jess??
Shall I get it on SW or Xbox and does it support motion control??
question: can i buy a digital upgrade or more digital ship with physical copy???
Tomas Zidek yeah you can I used my gold points too get some free weapon packs.
RUclips is BACK!!!! Now I bet they added more ads... 😢
Looks cool. Buuuut im gonna be waiting for a sale after rdr2
Wait can you buy digital dlc with the physical edition?!?
Victor PELAYO I’m pretty sure
This is what Starfox should have always been.
I just wish they would update it so you can add a digital weapon to an empty toy slot or something.
with the base pack you get one ship/2 pilots ect..are other ships/pilots unlocked through grinding in game ? or do you have to buy new ships ect ?
If you get it physically you'll have to buy everything besides the stuff they give you, the digital version gives you almost everything and the deluxe digital version gives you everything and I'm assuming acts as a season pass for the second wave of ships and pilots (don't quote me on that.)
So is this a strait up pay to win single player game? like you don't have weapons and ships unless you strait up purchase them separate from the game? Or can you unlock everything inside the game but it might take you longer?
No Man's Sky new update looks great!
Nintendo should let this team make a Star Fox game.👍👍👍
Why? This game doesn't look that great...
@@PeugeotRocket with Nintendo supervision on the game's concept and mechanics that starfox game might turn out to be a better game, remember mercury stream are the studio that developed Metriod Seamus return and there last game was that bad castlevania game on 3ds, so why don't you give a little optimism it won't hurt.
@@isimikehinde5584 I don't think it is a matter of optimism. I just think Nintendo is far more likely to either develop in house or use a dev with a little more clout and track record. Star Fox is a pretty beloved franchise, even by many non-Nintendo fans so I think Nintendo would do everything in their power to protect the reputation of the franchise.
This looks like fun
AND YOU DON'T NEED TO HAVE THE TOYS IF YOU DONT WANT THEM!!!
No man's Fox: Battle for Atlas
Another toys to life game... disney with huge and popular character can’t survive, how could this be?
Because unlike the others, you do not need the toys.
Didn’t know this was ubisoft
Both IGN and Gamespot seem to like the game a lot, both reviews sound like an 8 and then bam...7. Hmmm.
I'm just commenting to say I was in the youtucalypse
So its skylanders (a failed product) combined with a a flying shootemup with the starfox name thrown in there for the nostalgia sales.
Also, i keep hearing "repetitive" thrown around in this review. I probably wont be picking this up.
As much as i wanna get but just staring at the price tags i pass XD this look cost as much as spyros skylander stuff...
Dont expect to get off the ship
Review is incomplete unfortunately, since it forgot to mention Starlink's 2-player splitscreen Co-op support features.
No need to go in depth with that. But to completely fail to mention it is a fumble. 👎
Review of a review
It's a review not a wikipedia article
@@TheDuckClock Like I said: 'No need to go in depth with that. But to completely fail to mention it is a fumble'
No it isn't.
You just play with 2 people instead of one ... not much else to go over with that.
Plus its very likely the reviewer didn't have a 2nd person available to play with. It can happen if the review was outsourced to a freelancer which is pretty common with sites like Gamespot and IGN.
These reviewers all talk about the Switch version graphics like it was finger painted by a 3 year old. The graphics are good. Does it look as good as the Xbox or PS4 version? well no, but Starfox and portability just blow that out of the water.
THAT'S NOT A BARREL ROLL!!!
Starcon 3 "lite" happy meal eddition
4:33 Find the 7 differences between these images and your vanilla No Man Sky experience!
Also, this guy 5:44 looks like Bruce Wayne from Injustice 2.
Honestly I just want the star fox models. Could care less about the game
Nintendo Switch one is going to sell the best.
Does this have motion controls?
On any version?
Guys if y want in depth reviews watch some good you tube videos from different you tube favs . Happy console gamer or jkb.
oh look a review that doestn review the game as star fox battle for atlas.
