    Will you be going digital, or buying the toys?

    • @Weird_guy79

      damn shame I didn't know about the advantages of the digital version before I bought a physical copy, much much more value for dollar. feel a little ripped off now, even if the toys are kinda cool, but I'm sure that novelty will wear off very quickly, especially when dealing with the disadvantage of only having one ship and having to fork a damn lot more if wanting more.

      I am going to buy all the toys. I got a lot of them all ready. You can buy the other crafts digital same with the figures but I like the toy versions. Only be warned you can buy the pilots loose but some of the same pilots come with the ships. I did not no that no I have a few double figures. The different kinds of weapons have a color marking so you can see what weapons does what kind of damage

  • @smashbrolink
    @smashbrolink 6 лет назад +14

    Here's a little Pro tip for space combat:
    Much of the damage you'll be taking will come from enemies that like to shoot you from behind.
    To counter this, simply set a weapon with strong homing capabilities in a reversed position on one wing, like the frost barrage that comes in every starter pack.
    Pressing the left stick in will allow you to look behind your ship in combat, meaning you can use that, and a reversed weapon, to defend yourself against enemies that are getting cheap shots on you from behind.
    It will make many battles drastically easier.

      @@expensive1 It is local co-op and works pretty well, even in the Switch version. There are some slight differences, at least on the Switch version, between single player and co-op. The most noticeable one is that the pilot heads are more static rather than dynamic, i.e. the heads do less on the screen in co-op. All in all, it works pretty flawlessly. If you get the Switch version, you can only do co-op in TV mode, not handheld. Activating it is easy enough. You just connect a second controller and press A.

    This game looks like it's alot of fun except for the fact that this game is just another systematic part of the bigger problem & the ongoing issues with modern game's of today that game's developers release at launch...
    It's either multiplayer & like it or lump it/online only,like it or lump it/released on launch with many problems that need a day one update patch along with further ongoing update patches to fix a game that should be working properly at release & if not it should've been held back until the developers fixed all the issues & many other issues that should not be there at the launch of a game...
    If this was in any other business field this product would eventually fail & said company's closed & moved onto another product, as you should never release a faulty or half product & again if this was any other business medium they'd be bankrupt pretty quickly...
    So the big question is Why hasn't this happened within the gaming industry?!
    It's simple, Today's Modern Gamer's are allowing this to happen by buying these games & any or all of their DLC that can be bought in the console's online games store...
    If you the (certain) Gamer's hadn't shown all of these game's developers that there was a huge untapped market there then it wouldn't me the mess it's in now...
    As much as all of these game's developer's are ripping off gamer's, it's part these gamer's fault for continuing to buy content that should be already within the game at launch, apart from Loot Crates of course, but you just couldn't say No to buying Buffing Mods for online character multiplayer upgrades & any & all content that'd help you get your character to a level your happy with or online maps & other in game content without putting in the time & effort to do this by ongoing grinding....
    Enough said on that ongoing problem that needs to be sorted before console developer's launch their new gen console's...
    It's wrong that if gamers bought the physical version of the game then they lost out in alot of game content & that to me is these console & game's developer's attempt to take out the middle man/being retail stores/so that they control all sales of these games & extra content...
    Ps
    Thankfully the news on " Starlink BFA " is that it was pretty much perfect at launch/As All Gam'es Should Be At Launch/ & didn't have any ongoing problems...
    The Add Toys (has been done before) but still a great idea if done correctly!..
    But this all adds up financially for gamer's, whose wallets will need to be a bottom less pit of money, if you want everything/like the physical ships & those ship add ons....
    Then there's the gamer's who just want game's back to the way they were when you got all the content at launch & that the DLC content isn't being drip fed to them so that game's developer's can make a killing financially by doing this to all gamer's...
    I'm all for buying some extra DLC's to help support game's developer's, but since half way through the life cycle/span of the Last Gen Console's & now the Current Gen Console's it's has gotten so out of hand to the point game's developer's don't even bother or hesitate to release current gen games that aren't fully finished/tested for quality control & with all game content added within said game's at launch...
    Don't You See!..
    They are not selling you extra DLC content, & back a few years ago they at least used to wait a few months & then release the extra DLC to make it look like they made this content after the games launch/but rather they are delibaretly withholding game content from the game that's already been developed at & for the games initial launch date but then they have the gall to charge gamer's for the so called full experience by only allowing this extra content via purchasing it from the console's online games store...
    There should be no more of this withholding of gaming content & selling it for a certain price at launch/no more faulty & glitchy games when originally released & definitely No Loot Crates...
    As a very long time gamer I don't think that's asking too much & it's up to gamers to make their voices heard as we did with Star Wars Battlefront II & the farce that is the recently released " Anthem " which is so bad it's bricking & breaking gamer's console's & that right there is where we've come to & it has to stop & if it doesn't then walk away & spend your hard earned cash on something else...

    I thought this was a cash grab game where buying real world physical items is how you upgrade your ship, almost as if the idea of selling toys was first then they Re-built No Man's Sky around it. The star fox idea for the switch is awesome, if i had a Switch I... could be persuaded to buy it, but hell! why stop there?! X-Wing, Colonial Viper, Gunstar, Starfury, VF1 - Valkyrie, Federation Attack Fighter, Swordfish, Vic Viper, soooooo many awesome space fighters exist that would be awesome in this game, It's kind of a drag that only starfox's R-Wing exists, everyone who likes it will own it... which is not a bad thing if your 3 other friends in the game with you fly R-Wings. (they even say you can play and finish the game without buying any of the upgrades but it's very very hard)

    9:05 well duh... you are getting actual physical toys. Of course you will spend more. While I think the toys could be cheaper, that goes for almost all toys in general. Have you seen the price of action figures lately? My biggest disappointment is that you are limited to all digital or all physical. If you buy a couple of physical toys because you think they look cool, but expect to buy the cheaper digital versions of something things like pilots and weapons, you will be disappointing to find you cant mix and match digital and physical. What you are left with is, unlocking the digital version for a week for the toys you have but then playing the game all digitally if you expect to use those digital weapons you bought. I just wish they would update it so you can add a digital weapon to an empty toy slot or something.

  • @kidatplay9380

    with the base pack you get one ship/2 pilots ect..are other ships/pilots unlocked through grinding in game ? or do you have to buy new ships ect ?

    • @nodtomodley9114
      @nodtomodley9114 6 лет назад

      If you get it physically you'll have to buy everything besides the stuff they give you, the digital version gives you almost everything and the deluxe digital version gives you everything and I'm assuming acts as a season pass for the second wave of ships and pilots (don't quote me on that.)

  • @DSzaks
    @DSzaks 6 лет назад

    So is this a strait up pay to win single player game? like you don't have weapons and ships unless you strait up purchase them separate from the game? Or can you unlock everything inside the game but it might take you longer?

      @nodtomodley9114 6 лет назад

    • @PeugeotRocket
      @PeugeotRocket 6 лет назад

      @@isimikehinde5584 I don't think it is a matter of optimism. I just think Nintendo is far more likely to either develop in house or use a dev with a little more clout and track record.
