Adnan Khan born into a family of illustrious musician.
He is the son of renowned Sitar maestro Ustad Saeed khan of Dilli Gharana .Adnan started his initial sitar taalim under his maternal grandfather Late Ustad Zafar Ahmed Khan. He has been learning the intricacies of the instrument from his father.!
The gayaki ang is clearly palpable in his rendition of sitar. Further he gives stress on melody and fine tonal quality, purity of ragas, swar and sargam.
Adnan khan belongs to two lineage of music gharana Dilli gharana from maternal side and Kirana gharana from paternal side. He belongs to a family which relates to many stalwarts like Ustad Bundu khan sahab sarangi maestro, Sangeet Martand Ustad Chand khan sahab,Taan Samrat Ustad Naseer Ahmed khan ,padma shri Ustad Faiyaz Ahmed khan and Ustad Niyaz Ahmed Khan and many more.!
The talented Young Adnan first performance was at the age of 5th. Adnan has performed in various prestigious music festivals throughout in india and abroad including the music festival BABA HARBALLAV SANGEET SAMMELAN, ITC SANGEET SAMMELAN, MTV INDIA MUSIC SUMMIT ,WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL IN TURKMENISTAN, BANGAL FOUNDATION IN BANGLADESH, INDIAN AND BAHRAIN FESTIVAL IN BAHRAIN ,International Festival In Maldives, Salt Lake Music Conference, AROHI MUSIC FESTIVAL, RAJIYE SANGEET ACADEMY, Ustad Vilayat Khan Foundation and many more.! Adnan was a senior A grade Scholar at ITC SANGEET RESEARCH ACADEMY Under Ustad Mashkoor ali Khan from 2009 to 2013.

Brilliant again !! While every Sitariya indulges in playing this bandish, immortalized in the jugalbandi of Ustad Vilayat Khan Sahib and Ustad Bismillah Khan Sahib, Adnan shows here in his tankari that he is not merely copying the bandish but showing his own ta'leem tayyari around the bandish. He deserves accolades and awards at the national and international levels. Vaishnav also displays his own ta'leem tayyari in his Tabla here to no small degree. Good wishes to them both.
