Can I use white miso since that’s what I have?
Also can I then reduce the sugar to half?
    Thanks

I recommend cooking the marinade to a boil so the alcohol burns off

Hi Irene, Have you ever thought about making your own solar oven at home? You just need cardboard (or wood) and aluminum foil or mirror (YT has a lot videos on how to make one.) You can bake all the same things as a regular oven, including bread, meat, cakes...fish... anytime of year (even cold) as long as the sun is out. You just have rotate the angle of the over about every 30 minutes to make sure the sun is still reflecting off the foil (or mirrors). The cooking time is about 20% more than it would take in an electric/gas oven. (If you make a cardboard oven - which are SUPER easy and inexpensive to make - just bring it in somewhere with cover when you're done so the rain doesn't ruin it....and don't forget your oven mitts, these ivens get HOT just like a regular oven. Hope that helps! Happy New Year 😊
