You can tell its not bedrock because bedrock doesnt look like that and bedrock doesnt have the same sounds as java which is why you can clearly hear by the pressure plate thats its java.

The weird "floating above water" from the spectator's view _could_ just be server lag shenanigans (I've seen it look much worse in multiplayer), but it definitely looks kinda weird from the player's perspective too, which I wouldn't expect.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It looked like an Australian player clutching on a European server.
I always thought the MLG water bucket wasn’t an intended mechanic by Mojang but this acknowledgment of it sort of makes it so.
Why though. Making that would be way harder than a normal water bucket clutch
I know we have shader packs like Complimentary reimagined and rethinking voxels, but I would like to see the vanilla Minecraft fake actually have graphics like those shaders without having to downloading anything. @@tonyleier agreed 100%
But feenix, how could you forget the theory that they just have a good gaming chair
i worry that this might lead to something pertaining to water fall damage in future versions
I honestly think the old water fall damage wasn't a bad feature when it was around. Completely negating fall damage would require more skill since you'd need to use a more dangerous technique like slime blocks, and would make people brew slow fall potions in survival, especially for the typical end fight.
The way it worked, to be clear, was that water _slowed_ your fall and you'd take damage according to your fall's speed. It was 3 blocks deep water to negate fall damage from build limit if you swim up while falling, and 4 blocks without swimming.
@@ccaagg Man, I remember that but I swore it was only 2 blocks deep. When did that change?
@@StuffandThings_ 2 block was good for most falls iirc, 3 to 4 was for basically any height.
How?? What in this short could possibly lead you to think they're gonna be removing it?????

I think I know why they did it that way.
In bedrock you can set custom camera angles and positions with addons and servers so its very possible that they just couldn't get the save while not being able to see the player so they had to fake it

Its not bedrock
They could have had two players in the same world, with the first one having the custom camera angles and positions while the second one is actually doing the clutch. It wouldn't be too hard to set up.
I watched this short before amd realized this. Also, yes, you can place, destroy, and interact with blocks from 11 blocks away on Bedrock.

What if they did it *precisely* because their "mistake" would gain so much traction?
i was afraid this was serious and Mojang betrayed their community. Turns out they just faked a little trick instead of spending the same amount of time and effort on actually doing it once, not even learning to do it.
Me and my friends were all able to learn the water bucket mlg within a few days of playing pvp like skywars. But professionals at Mojang don‘t seem to be able to learn the most simple techniques 😂

when i looked a little better, i noticed the pillager banner can only be done in creative, because it exceeds the banner limit
like, why would you put a banner in your game that isn't possible to make??
It is trying to say that almost all Minecraft youtubers cut scenes that they failed to do what they wanted to do, most of the Minecraft shorts summarized, which seems clever to me... That's what is meant by "What you don't see.".🤔
1. The water only went in one direction on the short, but all directions when Phoenix tried!
2. The player didn’t seem to actually place the water themselves, maybe a friend helped out.
0:36 *did you call me*
First off, I kinda figured it wasn't real.
But second, and the more important thing, I really hope them not showing the player die over and over is so they could hide the fact they are in creative mode. If Mojang and Microsoft are really gonna pull a "Blizard with Overwatch 2" thing and change the classic "You Died" to "You Were Eliminated," I'm gonna cry. At that point, I'd just want someone to make a game inspired by Minecraft that is made for an older audience and adults like us, because very clearly Minecraft is going from "ages 10 and up" to "ages 1 to 10."
2:54 it’s not even centered on where the cursor will be.
AND THE BLOCK ISNT EVEN HIGHLIGHTED!
This isn’t Java, it isn’t even Bedrock, I think this is Reinforced Deepslate Edition.
if they hit the ground there should have been ground particles. it seems like they used the replay mod or some other cinematic mod which interpolates and delays the player's position when viewing the replay.
Even three the house doesn’t had any crafting table or furnace. It Isn't a house. It doesn’t count as a house if there Isn't a crafting table and a furnace.
Marketing person: has a full time job so they don't have time to practice waterbucket clutches.
Community: outrageous! How dare they have a job!
Even someone that has never done it before could do it in a few tries, I wonder what was going through their head as they decided to fake it.
I know that MC is just a corporate entity now and this is some fun advertising. But that the people at Microsoft/Mojang care so little about the authenticity of their material. It's downright painful.
I feel like this is harder to pull off in creative mode to make it look somewhat convincing. They probably would have had an easier time just doing it properly...
I feel like they used some kind of replay mod or replay mod itself, the way the player respawns, instead of appearing like you would normally see it just glides quickly and how they placed the water very high up is all too similar to replay mod.
this feels like when you look at a replay in replaymod because it only records in ticks (?)
I think it's because they titled the second part "what you don't see" so the deaths "never happened" because "you never saw them"
This proves that mojang can't clutch
Pretty sure the "not showing death" thing is actually done to better show passage of time, like a lil montage. I quite liked that bit myself. Shows how much the player has attempted it. I honestly just want to know more about how he keeps enough buckets to try this for 18ish minutes straight in single chest

Extended creative reach is a feature that should be added to all version
Mojang: uses creative to do one of the most classic things in the game
it looks like theyre recording in replay mod where there is camera delay so the 10-15 blocks is probably greatly overexaggerated
i would think they just water bucket clutched in creative mode with normal reach or whatever
Mojang do stuff like this all over. They are just generally dishonest. And they have been getting worse.
microsoft's just forcing them to drive up profit, so they have to
Practice does not in fact make perfect. Practice makes permanent because the more you practice something the wrong way, the more it will become a habit and eventually you’ll be stuck in this endless loop of failure and disappointment where you can’t do something right.
Wait until the community finds the seed used in that video 😂
for anyone wondering, bedrock edition does have a longer reach than java edition... by half a block. if you're in creative mode and are using touch controls, you get an extra block more, but that still only amounts to a reach of six blocks.
none of which matters, since the video was recorded in java edition (you can tell because entity shadows look different between the two)
Anyone else hear “million million views” at 0:50 ?

the fact that the water bucket still had water in it after the so called “water bucket clutch” is the real giveaway imo, no frame by frame needed

1:50 that is actually an miss
The fact that Mojang has now made the video private 💀
Something to do with replay mod 2:10
i’m pretty sure it just looks like that because of something like replay mod, or if another account were to do with with you watching it would look like they glide over the water, same with how sometimes when a player takes fall damage it looks like they’re floating above the ground for a bit then get shot down
