The national team of Mexico is very much a reflection of your domestic league. Liga MX is an overpriced and overrated league, it used to be a respectable league. if the the league doesn't get fixed soon league will be in terminal decline.
We have beat Germany in friendlies. And we almost beat Germany in the 2002 world cup. They got lucky the ref didn't call a handball. We beat an undefeated Spain in the 2009 CONFED Cup. We almost hung with Brazil in the final. I think we also tied France in a friendly right before the 2018 world cup
This is mostly due to all but 1 game of the 7 unbeaten taking place in the US. Beating Mexico at home is not unprecedented at all. In fact, Mexico once went 11 straight matches without beating us on US soil, a stretch that lasted an entire decade (1999-2009). If Mexico had a chance to host more matches, the results would likely be very different due to our ineptitude on the road.
Mexico could do a hard reset but they won’t because money, USD is all their federation cares about and any reset will have to be a long term project. it’s taken the US at least 8 years, couple of youth tournaments before that to get to this point. They’ll have to humble themselves and prepare the masses that their national team won’t be competitive with the US or Canada for sometime and that their home World Cup could end in disaster. Mexico has always thought of itself as a giant in soccer but in reality it is, as a spectator not as a top performer on the pitch. It will have to make chances to the system it’s been aiming for the last two and the half decades.
I like a more competitive CONCACAF...our collective performances in the WC Finals is always embarrassing....with a good Jamaica, Canada, Honduras, CR, Mexico, it makes us play better...come-on, boys
Mexico could become World Champions, but they need some changes: First the goalkeeper has to retire and the Hindu deity Shiva should replace him. Then the defense goes like this:Vegeta,Saitama,Pancho Villa and Jet Li. Midfield:Christ (does magic things),Houdini and Napoleon Bonaparte (leadership),A.Einstein (cerebral dude). Attack:Patton and Julius Caesar (guts and aggressive attitude).
This has to do more with mexico getting worse than usa being better. Remember this is the worst mexican team in history all thanks to the league owners corruption which now their paying the price for it. Liga mx currently has pro rel suspended, no domestic cup, withdrawal of south american tournaments, not exporting to europe due to gentlements pact that heavily inflates player price and prohibits mexicos best prospects from going to europe like usa. So no usa doesnt own mexico in football. Mexico still has more trophies, accomplishments, historic players, a better league. Just that corruption is rotting mexican football
This reads like puro ardido lol, dude the USMNT is better right now, that’s all you have to say. Denial is the first stage. Get some humility, and work to improve. A strong Mexico is good for the USMNT, too.
Yeah the Mexican federation has loads of problems that just adds on to the worsening state of the national team. But in terms of overall footballing, the US is a bit behind. Just look how Monterrey bullied Inter Miami in the Concacaf Champions Cup. The national team has done well though in having players go and play in Europe.

Yeah, Mexico will win here and there against USA...but USA will win the majority of games against Mexico. Moving forward it's USA dominates over Mexico.
I admit the US has an edge, especially now that physicality plays a bigger role. However, the biggest ADVANTAGE is that the US players are never pressured, as nobody really knows them; this is not their country’s sport. That is not the case with any other country in the continent, except Canada and a couple of Caribbean ones… Therefore, there is no actual rivalry, as wins or losses do not mean the same to both Mexico and the US. This is only a fantasy rivalry created by the powers that be to milk the fans, which is really fragmented but nonetheless lucrative $🤣🤣🤣
Isn’t that worst? Playing without pressure?, there is a lot of history btw the usa and Mexico and Canadá as well, things that goes beyond soccer, if you think a rivalry happens just because of one sport then you are simply living in that sports bubble, as a side note there are many things btw Mexico and the usa outside of soccer but I don’t think you are ready to understand it. Soccer it’s only one of the many mediums to take that rivalry into.

They can only beat Mexico. Not Holland or Colombia. No offense
Champions Of The Gold Cup? 🤫🙉
Until you can beat France , Germany or Brazil on the grandest stage in soccer , you ain’t shit.
that goes for everyone
That goes for everybody tho
USA beat England, Spain, and Portugal 🇺🇲🇺🇲💪💪
Mexico 🇲🇽🗑💩
Who can't beat Chile 🤣🗑💩
We have beat Germany in friendlies. And we almost beat Germany in the 2002 world cup. They got lucky the ref didn't call a handball. We beat an undefeated Spain in the 2009 CONFED Cup. We almost hung with Brazil in the final. I think we also tied France in a friendly right before the 2018 world cup
12 gold cups buddy
This is mostly due to all but 1 game of the 7 unbeaten taking place in the US. Beating Mexico at home is not unprecedented at all. In fact, Mexico once went 11 straight matches without beating us on US soil, a stretch that lasted an entire decade (1999-2009). If Mexico had a chance to host more matches, the results would likely be very different due to our ineptitude on the road.
Mexico still plays “at home” in USA… that is not an excuse…
They don’t even complain, they know they’re the home team here vs USA.
@@kevinhoooo2958 Game is still in the US though, which is a big difference.
@@ryansmith1044 for who?? Everyone plays in Europe. That’s a dumb argument.
I was at the 3-0 SemiFinals game in Las Vegas
love the vids

Appreciate u gangy
Mexico could do a hard reset but they won’t because money, USD is all their federation cares about and any reset will have to be a long term project. it’s taken the US at least 8 years, couple of youth tournaments before that to get to this point. They’ll have to humble themselves and prepare the masses that their national team won’t be competitive with the US or Canada for sometime and that their home World Cup could end in disaster.
Mexico has always thought of itself as a giant in soccer but in reality it is, as a spectator not as a top performer on the pitch. It will have to make chances to the system it’s been aiming for the last two and the half decades.
They do own us right now
I like a more competitive CONCACAF...our collective performances in the WC Finals is always embarrassing....with a good Jamaica, Canada, Honduras, CR, Mexico, it makes us play better...come-on, boys
Say it with me America FOOT BALL
Mexico owned usa back then but now usa owns mexico now but both have done bad in copa america and canada and panama did better than both of them
Seriously? It started with dos a cero in Columbus
Mexico could become World Champions, but they need some changes:
First the goalkeeper has to retire and the Hindu deity Shiva should replace him.
Just that corruption is rotting mexican football
that can all change and is / will change in time
neta
Mexico being worse than ever before deffo plays a part but just saying that undermines the development effort from the US side 🇺🇸
This is from the past 4 years let’s be serious once mexico comes back it’s over for the usa
Wont happen because mexico fans will pay to watch a mediocre team as if they were good
Last year, in the concacaf, who won the final? Mexico
Mexico 🇲🇽 y ellos fueron eliminados en la semifinal contra Panama🤣 pero esas derrotas no las dicen ni publican

U a real one
but we owned usa in the past 🤓👆🏿
2024 mexico looking scary bc more player getting better and going in europe
Win Copa America then
when the USA wanted to be good at soccer they only needed players who play Football
what
Who has the most gold cups?
USMNT couldnt get a win against México between 2009-2018 thats owning someone. And what do the overall stats also say?.
Y'all haven't beaten us since 2019😂keep on crying,y'all keep on being up the past cus ur team is trash right now🤦
Football has gone to a downfall in Mexico and televisa is the one who selects the national team not even the people’s selection and I don’t bother to watch the liga Mx finals since I know it will be won by the Americas . So I might switch sides and go for the USA national team.
The most recent Cup Mex vs Us All my friends were mexico Whille i was USA but what i shot and goals Form The usa
we WIN YAY
Awesome video! Berhalter and "underwhelming" are synonymous, but USMNT players are better than the manager and his idiotic ways. How good could they be with a real coach?
Nabhuto is the best Football content creator in the States. Like if you agree!
Thank u fam
U.S may win the Concacaf tournaments but they sure as hell can't win Copa America or the World Cup
Shit can change real quick in sports so chill and remember that.
I know, look at Mexico shit changed real quick for them. 😂
Mexico declined real quick😂
Only difference is USA actually develops players so much so that there’s quite a few Mexican Americans(Pochos that Mexican nationals hate) that the Mexican National team is trying to poach from the US
Meanwhile your corrupt greedy ass federation overvalues players..and so do your fans
Just hyping up GARBAGE and now we see the effects of it 😂
USA has a STRONG pipeline set up for MLS to Europe and it will only get stronger
ENJOY!😂🇺🇸
Mexico is still own usa by trophies but in game usa owns Mexico
And we own u guys we better
ima start crying bc I’m Mexican
Wouldnt saw own bro I think stat wise mexico has more trophies and a better history, but I will say usa are definitely up now and much much bigger then Mexico. Mexico has sm corruption and can’t see a future until they start taking it srs again. Usa producing talent every year and will say are the biggest team in concacaf now
USA are for sure in the top 10 of the world if you count from last to first. Better keep playing FOOTball with your hands :D
also btw it’s 1-1 not 1-0 in the thumbnail 🤓🤓
lol usmnt biggest achievement is beating Mexico kinda sad honestly.
not really, they beaten bigger teams at the world stage than Mexico. they beat Spain 2-0 in 2009 when they where the best in the world
We go by levels man. First the easiest later Argentina, France or even the Netherlands
The US fucked up Mexico in the most important match they have ever faced together. What does it say about Mexico that the US has grown so much in the last 24 years and Mexico regressed? Mexico is USA’s booty call at this point. I’m 20 more years the US is going to be a lot more important than Mexico in the world stage.
That’s not the biggest, it’s reaching the semi finals in a World Cup and either way we dominate most sports so it won’t hurt us
I know imagine getting happy about beating that GARBAGE country in football..so sad
shouldn't one have an overall winning record against a team before claiming to "own" that team?
Y'all haven't beaten us since 2019 keep on crying😂
Try to live in reality it is 2024 just in case u haven't notice

Mexico comeback soon😖
I hope not 😁🇺🇸
Yeah, Mexico will win here and there against USA...but USA will win the majority of games against Mexico. Moving forward it's USA dominates over Mexico.
Sure😏😉. How soon is now?
Well it's been 5 years. Maybe 5 more years?
We just beat your team a couple days ago
Soccer it’s only one of the many mediums to take that rivalry into.
now yeah but 4 years ago and even longer before mexico was owning usa
4 years ago soccer wasnt as big for the US
