Hello Carol, I am really enjoying this video you are enjoying yourself along with your viewers I could watch you all night. Will watch more of your videos instead of television
Hi Carol! I love the colors you have chosen, and the fabric pages are so beautiful!Slow stitching for relaxation,Slow stitched fabric blocks,Fabric mini books,Texture art using scraps
Good evening Carol, when you said do not panic the words "Do panic Mr Mainwaring" lol . Thank you again for showing how to correct our mistake, the little book look fantastic 👏. Have a good weekend soft hugs Teresa xx
Hi Teresa They came into my head too lol Dads Army 😊 I am still on my learning curve, I think it helps to see the mistakes and how to get past them 😁💕 have a lovely weekend
Hi Carol: I’m in love with your little book! You have some really great ideas. Wonky is your aesthetic and that’s what makes your projects so unique. Never change. You’re so much fun to watch. 💜😎🇺🇸
Your 'mistakes' are charming. I love how they can become more luscious as the pages progress. Also really enjoyed the water/ocean theme, if that was what your were going for..... enjoy always.
Hi Tricia yes I was going for an abstract ocean scheme, just using the colours makes me happy. Mistakes ( or happy accidents ) happen on a regular basis with my crafting 😂 I just roll with them 😊💙
Hi Carol...I like it when you experiment with stuff...its so fun. I just love your journal...it's soooo pretty...love that color pallet. Great solution to use that lace to fill that gap.
Thanks for sharing the whole process with us, especially how you coped with "mistakes." You book looks luscious. I'm nowhere near ready to assemble my book yet. I'm saving this video for when that time comes. 😊
Wow i was just watching this and i thought if i had decent amount of fabric i could use this method to make the hinges for a larger journal. I have always wanted to make a totally fabric journal. I could do it with paper also and put some strong fabric glue on the fabric hinges or possible sew on the machine a few stitches to hold it. Hmmm. Very inspirational Carol i hqve considered several ways to make the journals hinges or spine whatever to call it. This way of the folds holding a page is just brilliant. Have you seen it some place else? Or is it your genius idea? I love it. I love the theme of your book....the sea. All the little scenes you have done are so sweet. And the back cover with the sandy beach. Im doing one. Its fun.
Hi Marlene 😊 yes you can totally do this on a larger journal, I have made an all fabric one inspired by ARTYmaze I’ll try and remember to show it or maybe we could actually make one on the channel ? Hmmmm lol I am so glad I have fired up your imagination it’s always my aim to give you ideas to take away and expand on and make it your own. I did see this spine in a paper form somewhere on RUclips and thought oooh I bet I can do that in fabric so I made my prototype. The rest is history ❤😊
