- In this video I talk about the US Debt Clock and the $166 Dollar to silver ratio as well as the paper to silver ratio which is now over 400:1! The Dollar to Silver ratio has been $0 for about 2 years, but it is now on the rise again. As the M2 money supply increases the dollar to silver ratio will go up from here. The "paper" silver to silver ratio is now over 400:1 which means that if you can't hold it then you don't own it. As the US increases their national debt and the currency supply the dollar will continue to be inflated and eventually will become worthless. I have been silver stacking for over 6 years now and I am continuing to buy more silver today. This silver news update comes at a volatile time in silver price as silver had went up $1 yesterday, but silver price went down $1 today. If you want to protect your wealth I suggest putting some of it into precious metals.

Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with ‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy” for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.
I just looked her up on the internet and found her webpage with her credentials. I wrote her a outlining my financial objectives and planned a call with her.

People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

So basically we're going to keep this economy going for as long as we can until it literally hits the ground and starts combusting in to flames, this will not be a depression this will be a nightmare financially for everyone because right now when the inflation spikes up like a rocket and the dollar detaches itself from normal levels we're going to be just like Zimbabwe or Germany with wheelbarrows of money for bread. I personally feel like we have maybe 4 to 5 years of somewhat economic transactions with money and debt but after 2030 I think that's when everything will falter and hit the skids. I would buy Bitcoin and buy hard assets like gold /silver as a store of value while also actively trading...The only wild card for us investors is to actively engage the market by trading, we always over complicate things when we speculate. It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I can remember being shocked when it hit 300 billion.
I will keep suggesting this untill the end: The U.S. mint should make 90% silver again, but change the face value. I.E. - the ASE should have a face value of $50.00. (yes I know it is already .999 fine) The fifty cent piece should be $20.00. The quarter should be $10.00 and the dime should be $5.00. This would alert the American public that silver is real money. Just an idea, no absolutes. Your mileage may vary.
I agree, 100%. I would love to see 90% silver (and gold) with realistic face values from the mint. Instead of changing to a 90% ASE, i propose reinstating the 90% Morgan Dollar with 1 oz. silver + the copper, and valuing it at $50.00.

Great info. I knew the papermarket for precious metals was BS but didn’t know how much! Also makes sense how the price of silver is manipulated.
Don't forget only a week or two ago their was less than 400 paper silver to 1 oz silver. Now it is over 400 oz. Usually when the paper silver unwinds silver price will explode. Thanks as always Silver Dragons
This ratio is the volume traded divided by the amount mined. Most of the trading is high frequency trading.

Well explain thank you for bringing up this video Financial education is indeed required for more than 80% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. The value of the US dollar is declining due to inflation, but it is increasing in comparison to other currencies and commodities such as gold and real estate. Just helped my sis buy $5,000 worth of silver on SD Bullion( Christian based and decent prices). Ive been trying to get her out of holding cash for some time now. The reality finally clicked and i just helped her order 168 1 oz. Dealers choice silver bars. It was $5,025. So about $29.91 an oz. There was a deal for only .99 cent premiums on the 1 oz bars. Im excited for her! She now has more silver than me! I got into silver and gold about 4 months ago and have 90.5 oz of silver, 1 1/25th oz of gold, and 2 1/10 oz of gold!

Great explanation of stuff to watch on the debt clock. I had previously thought that the 400+ number was what silver should really be priced at. Thanks for the correct way to look at it. Now I won’t get bummed out if I buy a boatload and it doesn’t ever get to that number.

I think this discussion must include the current strength of the US Dollar. And also whether the value of the dollar is likely to increase or decrease. Good video.
The value of the dollar is less with every new dollar printed. It is also worth-less as most countries are not buying US treasuries/US debt to conduct trade.
Many factors are inflationary for the US dollar.

Great explanations! Always great to see numbers in your face so you can calculate what you need to cut out to continue to stack. On the industrial uses of silver and the consumption of it remember a single torpedo uses 11,000 ounces per unit. Patriot missiles used to use gold, I don't know the ratio or if they had changed the manufacture process. When they were launching them continuously they were a million a piece!

1:34 if you want to see something unbelievable, price real estate in Canada. The smallest, most crappiest house in my city is listed at 800k (thats a 60 year old fixer upper). only 3 hours away in Niagara Falls NY ...you guys can still buy a house for 60k...! Thats the interest on the smallest house in my city per year. Its hard to believe. You should see rent as a result. A one bedroom apt in T.O is 3k a month. (36k per year) People go to work just to have a roof over their head.

Interest is how actual "new" money is created... I mean since leaving the gold standard the dollar is still fiat, but what the fed "prints" isn't new money what is paid in interest is.

In Europe, a McDonalds 'Euro' burger (US $1.07) now costs 1.60 Euro ($1.71) up 59.8% in Dollars. Silver over 3 years has only gone up by 13.9% (in Dollar terms). Silver still has a long way to go. Silver stores wealth over time & must increase by 46% to catch up with REAL inflation. Silver price of US $43+ surely needs to occur for Silver to do its job to protect purchasing power. What everyone never talks about is the silver to dollar ratio is only US Dollars. This does not include all the other fiat currencies around the globe!!

As much as you want to think the national deficit number, $34 trillion, will be written off, it will never happen due to people and institutions holding government paper. In other words, about 50% of the annual federal budget is destined to debt payments. So that means, about half of all tax receipts will be used to pay bond holders. So half the federal budget is not used in operation of government function. But debt payment.

You can print more silver. The more expensive it gets the more profitable it becomes to mine it out of the ground so more is mined.
Very insightful and great informational video. However, it would be super cool if it could be explained why and how the silver futures fail as opposed to owning real silver.
Remember in The Big Short when they explained CDO, CDO Squared, and Synthetic CDOs? That ratio was 20:1. Now think was Paper to Silver at 400:1 means. 😮

SD always says if you don't hold it you don't own it. Is this a testament against buying silver online and having it stored remotely? I've ever done this, but I know there are a lot of precious metal storage options. SD, what's your opinion?

I buy silver ETFs and sell silver ETFs. Also Gold ETFs.
They are very low risk, easily managed (buy/sell), and profitable.
I don’t touch mining companies, just bullion holders.
There is no way I would want to trade the amounts of physical metals for the profits available through the ETF marketplace.
The physical metals you have are good insurance, but doesn’t really work hard and expects long-term housing before much benefit.

The way to put the debt and unfunded liabilities in some kind of perspective is to look at the debt per taxpayer and do a quick calculation for unfunded liabilities per taxpayer. The 2 together are almost $2 million per taxpayer, and rising exponentially. The only way to pay this is massive "money" printing.
