The Mint class is the closest thing I have experienced to the old days of PanAm .....Very well done. Their flight attendants are nicely trained and the entire flight was great.

Yes, they’re definitely the cheapest option but you can still expect a great seat and service.

One of the great joys of nature is watching a sunrise at 38,000 feet over the Atlantic, its majestic. For such a short flight time, you got leads of food.
Flew with KLM Amsterdam to Seoul Korea in October last year, a 14 hour flight and got much less food than you did, top marks to Jetblue 👍

Just flew this the second week in May. We can only get even more space seats on our way from JFK to London which were OK. I thought maybe being a transcontinental flight they’d have a couple more inches of legroom but they didn’t. But they did have those amenity kits for everyone, food for everyone and even three drinks, which is more than most airlines give you. Coming home we were able to get mint and it was absolutely amazing. The food and the service might not been as good as other airlines iPhone to London but it was fine. Some of the airlines just give you too much food so I was fine with it. The flight attendants were extremely kind and helpful & the Mint seats were great! At first I thought the seat would be a little claustrophobic but it was absolutely one of my favorite flat bed seats. The area around your shoulders and head was wider than most of the other airlines business class. I was even able to lay the bed fat and sit up towards the top to really be able to stretch out my legs while sitting down instead of just have them lifted a little bit on the foot rest. You flew into a different terminal than I normally would fly in with Delta or a virgin Atlantic which was rather nice as it was much smaller and the customs line went extremely fast. Even returning from London to New York it was nice to have that terminal opposed to the huge main terminal at Heathrow. We didn’t have any turbulence and I really didn’t notice any difference between the JetBlue plane and a white body however, others on the flight said they had taken it before and you do feel the turbulence a little bit more than a widebody. Overall I thought it was an outstanding flight I love the privacy door in mint and would 100% fly JetBlue to London again.

B6 A321LR only has 138 seats....when on average an a321 can hold upwards of 230+ passengers
So trust there is enough space.
Furthermore to have 130+ passengers on a plane versus 300+ seems more comfortable to me....
      So 🤷🏾‍♂️

Totally agree! I love the increased access to Europe but there is such a sense of “occasion” when you board a wide body aircraft. It just feels more exciting. It’s sad that they are being phased out, but the technology is making the world smaller for these single aisle planes!

I remember back in the 80's flying from NY to Tampa for college a few times. Those days you got a full meal. I remember having roast beef on one leg, chicken another time and just great food in general. Today? So disappointing. But that's what happens when Reagan decided to deregulate the airlines. Thanks for share the trip. The first or business class was surprising, the configuration it self. Any way, very comfortably flight, but the narrow cabin jet liner like this, the experience is the same in those Hey Days in late 50's and 60's aboard on the "brand new" B 707 or DC 8 jetliner. With the obviuos differences regarding electronic devices an multi media stuff, the overall enviroment aboard is pretty the same I had back in 1983, aboarding a mighty DC 8 Super Sixty, 256 pax capacity, flying from Bogota El Dorado, to El Arish, Sinai peninsula, with the MFO Army, a 22 plus hours trip with three stop stages. Good video, once again. In a brand new plane, everything is exciting, as it is all in life time, as well.

Question: The small fridge or bar in the front is available for both business class and economy class, did something happen that you didn't go to? And what do I remember they offer free wi-fi and I don't remember their IF to be that lack🤔. Wonder if they would get a widebody? My thought is to buy a330neo, the 800 and probably Airbus make them a discount since is their most unlucky plane. And probably buy some use 330-200. And I am sure they would definitely make the very excellent jut as your video( I mean that your video is excellent)

      Yes there's free WiFi
And the reason B6 is using narrow body for their transcontinental flights is that.... it fits into their business model ultimately allowing them to charge lower fares. It's way cheaper to operate an a321 to LHR over an A330.

@@sergiolaurencio7534 the a330 may come eventually. There's wording in the flight attendant contracts which allows for negotiations interms of pay and work rules in the event they acquire wide body.
But it's no secret their goal was to disrupt the market with lower fares and the 321 allows them to do so.
It comes in cheaper for them to operate those flights using the a321
5 flight attendants instead of 10
      3 pilots instead of 4
140+ meals instead of over 300

Am kind of downing the modern narrow body experience for 6 hours plus. Will be trying Azores Airlines in June and curious to see how the body reacts. A321's don't have much to offer in terms of cabin humidity or lowered pressure like carbon planes so that's downer. And having 2 loos for an economy class is pretty crummy. Never flew them on a transoceanic flight, but it’s still sad that JetBlue doesn’t give free meals on those six hour cross-country flights. Well, I guess they had to give free meals on the transoceanic cause otherwise, they could stick with British airways, virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, or delta air lines, all of which use wide bodies.

I heard it feels just a bit worse than wide body, since a321 is smaller, and when it tilts just same as for example 777 you think, that a321 tilts more, and that's all

I've flown domestic JetBlue and appreciate their decent legroom. Your dinner (with choices!) looked good, but the chocolaty "breakfast" would have been a turnoff. I'd have to be satisfied with a snack.

You had much better luck with your crewmembers than I did! I took the inaugural A220 trip from BOS to SJC on May 4th. This was also over six hours in duration. There appeared to be two FA's in the cabin, but there could've been more we simply never saw. First, despite the flight duration, no amenity kits whatsoever. Secondly, about 15 minutes after take-off, the FA's made a snack and beverage service with two trash runs shortly thereafter - and promptly disappeared until making another trash run in hour 5. A fellow passenger asked for a $14 provolone sandwich ("Available on all flights over four hours," according to JB) and was told they didn't have any. Literally, the worst and most inattentive Flight Attendants I've ever experienced! Let me also point out this wasn't a "red-eye" or a night flight when they might've been trying to accommodate sleepers. We took off at 18:30 and arrived in California at 21:40. Otherwise, that A220 remains the top of the regionals for me. I guess JetBlue has some issues with their staff, and, believe me, their Flight Attendants made that perfectly clear!

    • @alexd6746

They don’t offer amenity kits in coach or multiple beverage services on domestic flights. After the first beverage service, more beverages are available on request, meaning you have to select them on your screen and ask for one… This flight is different because it’s international and going to London.

@@alexd6746 6+ hour flight! Amenity kits aren't a biggie, but only one snack/beverage service and someone requested a sandwich that wasn't available. May be domestic, but JUST as long as East Coast U S. to London! Sorry, man. No excuses! Sh*t FA's!
