    one tip I would recommend, pull as many all nighters as you can, its important to preserve the toxic energy of architecture school and the profession as a whole

    I'm on vacation and turning sophomore this year!!! I watched some of your videos and found them inspiring because they told me that I'm not the only one who questions myself about architecture. Nevertheless, I still find myself trying my best to obtain knowledge and improve my skills more, as a matter of fact, I saw my progress for almost one year. Hoping that you will create more videos that can inspire a student like me, thank you so much.

    we have the same issue with learning BIM at university. none of our lectureres have any idea about BIM and have only ever seen student work from them. they also dont have industry knowledge so we have been pushing to get extra tutorials for these bim programs. but its super hard to get help.
    thanks so much for your videos. its helped me through my entire degree

    I would add being prepared financially. I burned through money just buying materials for studio and I was fortunate to have my parents pay for some of the supplies. I would describe money not as a barrier to entry for architecture but it definitely makes a huge difference especially when if you can afford great software’s that can elevate a project.

    Is architecture a good carrier to make money ? I had just completed my 10th class after this I hav to choose my stream for further studies... I really love to go with the science field... But am not sure for later like I may be go with civil.... But i better choose architect but it just depend which field be better to get easy jobs or can easily earn more money through...

    • @julianledoux8824
      @julianledoux8824 Год назад

      I’d say yes but, you either need to have your license or years of experience before you start making good money. I have my BS in architecture and being in the field for almost two years I make $22/hr. As with a lot of careers the more certifications you add generally your salary will increase.

    • @UnravelingArchitecture
      @UnravelingArchitecture  8 месяцев назад

      not incredibly intense! and now that I am professionally practicing architecture, I promise it's easy - we almost always refer back to our civil engineering partners. You only need to worry about basic arithmetic

    Focus on drawing/ modelling what you are going to pin up in your presentation rather than making an incredible detailed cad model. No one cares unless you communicate it in the presentation.
