Ana Lan is the Sudanese youth initiative to stop khitan of girls, FGM. Through personal responsibility and positive action the group aims to put an end to this cruel practice and start the emotional healing of the cut girl and those around her. Ana Lan’s performance group is an experiment of unleashing creative energy through movement, words and music to break the silence of fear and shame surrounding this wrongdoing that is committed every day and which affects all of society.
