There are certainly outliers in every country/population, but Chinese people are usually humble, family oriented, well-educated, and above all, hard working, that's why China has been the world super power for most of its time, only a small dip (in the length of history) of the past 200 years, and will come back to the peak soon.

Confucius was born when China was in chaos with fighting between warring parties. He envisioned how a harmonic society would be based on the conduct of people and the relationship between people. Confucianism was just one of hundreds of then-new ideas at his time. The other prominent one is lawism. Historically, Chinese rulers ruled with law and educated people with Confucianism. Confucianism does not talk about religions or gods. It entirely focuses on how a person can possess a better state of ordinary human. Therefore, Chinese people generally believe one needs improvement by learning and don't believe birth rights. The Western culture emphasises the birth rights and claim the birth rights are human rights. I think it helps to view China with this unique basic difference.
Confucianism is a PHILOSOPHY - not a theocratic ideology. Somehow, Westerners tend to, in their West, believe that the Chinese "worships" Confucius as a "god" - which is very puzzling as to how they can get things so mixed up in the West. The philosopher is VENERATED in memory of him as a TEACHER - but not as a DEITY. Huge gulf of difference.
The west wanted the world to learn their culture and spread their culture around the world. Every country have their own culture and history, especially China which has a long history of culture and civilization. If US forced other countries to learn and adapt to the western cultures or style then it won't be right. Freedom of everything is more acceptable eg. freedom of speech or freedom of religion etc. If US forced their culture on China or vice-visa then it won't be right to do that. Best is to learn EACH OTHER culture to understand each other better. Which was why president Xi Jinping said people to people interaction is important to understand each other to promote peaceful coexistence.

Amazing hall! Absolutely breathtaking!
Confucianism is moral attitude to human civilization❤
So beautiful, amazing.
China is a country with solid values, cultures, and traditions. I put China on my visit bucket list. I want want want to visit.
The Chinese people have always been honorable respectful hard-working people
Wow, although I live in China, I have never been to this place before.
There are certainly outliers in every country/population, but Chinese people are usually humble, family oriented, well-educated, and above all, hard working, that's why China has been the world super power for most of its time, only a small dip (in the length of history) of the past 200 years, and will come back to the peak soon.
Hi Jason 👍
Jason is becoming better and better, more and more deeper in Chinese culture.....
공자사상+자유주의 이게 인류의 미래라고 생각합니다. 모든 사람이 군자가 되고 모든 사람이 자유를 누리는... 그게 유토피아죠.
I feel like China should get someone that's on the same level as Joe Biden as their leader
I mean, it would be fun to see China's leader shaking hand with someone who is totally invisible !
老子,孔子,韩非子,他们是2000多年前的中国战国时期的哲学学派代表人物,分别是道家(追求自由主义),儒家(追求仁义道德),法家(追求依法治国)
But absolute freedom = anarchy, basically system that doesn't work in any shape or form as it quickly becomes the old survival of the fittest with no respect to anyone. So you need laws and rules for good society and that's limiting your freedom, but in a good way.
glad this korean didn't claim confucius was a korean dude. like they claim tofu chinese writings hanfu iching chinese medicine chinese lunar new year etc was original koreans culture.
The West, once upon a time, practiced gentlemanly behavior and attitudes - and then, they went savage and "un-civilized" themselves into barbarianism becoming feral. I wonder if too much "freedom" is the reason why they turned?
You are absolutely right!
My God ! D place is so so magnificent , amazing , jaw dropping n mind blowing etc etc....u're truly fortunate to be in China seeing the many wonderful places there. I really envy u ! Tnx for sharing all d time. Nvr seen that place from other vloggers. Stay safe n healthy young man !

Yes some Americans are confused about Confucius
What person in his right mind would 'nt want to see China. I'm pissed that i don't have the money nor the time to visit China!
A spectacular video by Jason and the argonauts (i.e. Lincoln and familuy) .......... Thanks Jason
haha thanks
@@George-k6o9t 的确,孔子在中国被尊称为万世师表。他只是中国众多哲学老师特别杰出的一个。
Amazing place!

Wonderful video and thanks for the knowledge.!!!👍👍👍💖💖💖❤❤❤🧡🧡🧡
Wow, I like your video. Your video is knowledgeable and informative. The museum is beautiful.
What a grand, beautiful place!
Thank you Jason, great video b
Wishing Jason family happy and healthy. Fr. Malaysia
有趣的資訊。😄
Agreed. We are suffering from a competency crisis in Kanada. Meritocracy? Nope.
