maybe you connected your HDMI into motherboard and not into the GPU ? and setup your monitor into HDMI or DP mode (depends what cable you are using) or maybe your GPU is broken if you have power (lights, fans etc ) but no signal. good luck

I have the same motherboard (GIGABYTE B450M DS3H V2). I had a power outage and when electricity came back there was no signal on my monitor when the cable was connected directly to GPU (GTX 1060 6 GB). So I thought that something happened to the GPU. I unplugged a GPU power connector and connected the HDMI cable directly to the motherboard. My CPU is Ryzen 3400G so connecting the HDMI cable directly to the motherboard was not a that bad idea. And what happened is that finally, I got a signal on my monitor with an internal Vega GPU. So I thought that my GPU died and I left it as it was (it was a children's PC so the built-in GPU was sufficient enough). However, I did not plug the GPU into another PC (to mine exactly). I decided to change that today. And how happy I was seeing that this GPU is working on another PC. So I tried something else. On my children's PC, I restarted the CMOS battery by taking it off and putting it back again after 10 minutes. And that was a bad idea. After doing it there is no signal on the monitor and even USB ports don't work. The CPU fan spins and the motherboard's LEDs are lightning. Do you guys know what could have happened? I am clueless and the children's PC is useless right now :(
Without knowing the whole setup. I would try putting a spare GPU from another computer in it and see if you can get into BIOS and see if onboard GPU was disabled from the battery being pulled
@@kyledunton1351 it turned out that one 8GB RAM kit was causing this issue. Electricity outage broke it somehow. And restarting CMOS battery made the BIOS dead. It turned out to be the best idea to let some professionals look into it. Thanks anyway for your response.
The v2 of this is supposed to be compatible with the ryzen 5 3600 right out the box, right? Is it also possible that driver issues may have caused the GPU to 'lock up" ? I have a RTX 5500 XT and it was previously working until it didnt one day and its constantly a no signal problem. The usual LED (Not the rgb one) would usually flicker and light up to signify signal but this time there wasnt any (it worked the day before but died the next day).
