    Thank you Sierra for your easy to follow and clear instructions on this stitch. I started a blanket that uses this stitch and have had to put it aside because the instructions for it were too difficult for me to follow. Now, thanks to you, I've mastered the pattern and can go back to finish the blanket - right after I finish this headband. I used a slightly lighter weight yarn with the same sized hook as yours and the headband is coming out great.

    I wanted to do this with yarn I didnt want to use anymore, but didnt have enough of it. So, instead of chaining 20 and hdc 19, I chained 14 and hdc 13, and it still worked out perfectly!

    This was a really great tutorial. You used the right color of yarn so we could see the stitches. You have nice lighting. You explain everything well and show it very well.     Beautiful stitchilng in your headband. I just stumbled into your video looking for a light-weight headband for warm cllimate. I am going to try this pattern with cotton yarn or macrame yarn for a slimmer headband. I hope it looks as great as yours!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!

    using light colored yarn; work is much more visible.
    showing in detail the beginning and end of rows. (These always give me fits!)
    going slowly enough for us to follow.

    Thank you for posting. I had an acrylic / wool blend yarn that was perfect for this project. I'm still fairly a beginner, but I was certainly able to follow your tutorial and learn a couple of new stitches :) This was actually the third project I've ever completed since first picking up a crochet hook (I still have a few WIPs, but this project was easy to start and finish within one day).

    Thank you for sharing this stunning pattern. The design reminds me of a Chanel scarf from F/W 2021!🤩 I plan to use the pattern to make a queen size blanket/throw using the Bernat Blanket Yarn (estimating 18 skeins) w/ an 8mm hook. 🤞🏼😅

    You can put your half dbl in before your next cross. Easier

    This headband is so pretty!!! What size would this be head wise?I measured my around the bottom of my ears to where I like my headband to be forehead wise.It came out to 23 inches.Would this headband in the video fit well?

      You can do it as mentioned in comments, one of these says that making 14 chains and 13hdc would be enough. Actually I'm crocheting one to my niece with this number of chains and it looks beautiful! Try it 😉

      I am not sure off the top of my head how to create this design into a hat, that would have to be a whole new tutorial.
