Lzzy Hale is an absolute badass! Her group Halestorm has done a lot of stuff and has some amazing songs. Some of it is a hard rock out style (I Like it Heavy) and others are more emotional (Here's to Us) or thoughtful. If you haven't added them to your musical landscape you definitely should.
A later song, "Lost Girls" is kind of a sequel to this one, picking up where it ends, and is a metaphor for the struggle against regression and falling back into bad habits. Watching them back to back really brings that home.
Just FYI: this song was written by Lindsey and it was about her struggle with anorexia nervosa. I relate to it a lot and it's very important to me. Thanks for reacting to it :)
Oh, dude! You really should check out the behind the scenes for this one, AND watch Lost Girls and the behind the scenes for that one. The deeper meaning in there...I cried. Seriously, it's important. Whether you make a reaction video for any of those or not, at least watch. It's awesome and amazing and heartbreaking and hopeful all at once. MAKE SURE to either wear no mascara or wear the best waterproof stuff, and keep Kleenex nearby. Luv ya!
