    Ive noticed the double stack container trains are shorter- fewer rakes than the single stacked ones, the Concor train at the end was a std IR 60 rake goods train. Shows that economic demand is still more or less the same although its good to build extra capacity

      Extra capacity is important whether economic demand is there or not because currently the tracks are very congested which causes delays for passenger trains.

      Bhai, its common sense - Double stack containers are heavier than single stack container trains. it requires more energy to pull the double stack container trains....

      Air drag would be the contributing reason for slow speed in double stack train

    If you see that electric lines are at double the height of the train.so how the electric ity is coming for the engine?is the engine run by electricity ?
