I got my CDL in August..mane no job is hiring me, I got a careless 11/21, failure to display both tags 10/23 accident on file 8/21 no other parties just me in my car, I got stuck and thought I needed a tow, but was able to get myself out before the towing company arrived and now that's on my record smh.. . Been to 2 orientations, completed them both, just for both companies to say the safety team has denied me and that's crazy is . The company was western Express and covenant which both hire folks with criminal backgrounds and challenging driving records

I've got my class B so I'm looking to see what else is out there for more money than my current job. i do think i will want to be in a class a job eventually but im hoping to find a company that has class b jobs where i can work there and move up.

I follow a youngin on RUclips that’s in the Carolinas. He got hired the next day after getting his CDL in hand with Coke. I applied in FL for Coke in 3 different cities and got denied. I feel some type of way bout FL. 😤

I’m thankful for it but I really wanted to start in the dump truck business, but unfortunately everytime I apply I get rejected cause of no experience but somehow I got this job driving a moffett truck and it requires more skill than a dump truck. Companies mainly go off, if their insurance companies will cover you…. And most of them won’t without verified experience…. Not saying it’s impossible… just highly unlikely…

As far as records go, if its over 20 years ago most companies will overlook it completely. As far as drug testing, your supposed to follow federal DOT guidelines which will always test for marijuana regardless of legal status in that specific state

Take my advice in this video. A couple people in maryland hit me saying they finally got something. Just keep looking and calling if you have to. You’ll find something
Probably not trucking companies do look at criminal history but pay mostly attention to driving history and as long as you had a clean criminal record for at least that past 5 or so years and a clean driving record for 2-3 you should be fine
You are limited if you have an automatic restriction for local jobs. I got my automatic restriction removed because of that & now I work for a construction company where I haul dirt. The funny thing is that the company I work for has both manual and automatic trucks. But I like the manual truck I drive ❤ 😅.
So basically find the companies that work for Amazon. Don’t fill out the application and called them directly. Wasted 13 minutes of my time just to say that. 😂

From what I hear food delivery like Sysco is so brutally hard that they can barely find anyone who’s willing or able to do it
It's hard because they want you to unload all that stuff with cheap equipment and drive to all your stops.
