I started back in 2018 when I was 24 it was the best decision I ever made and I tell everyone else that if they’re considering being a truck driver to do it ASAP and it would change there life no procrastinating, however I’ve been through rough patch because I been out of driving for a year I’m finally getting back into I can’t wait I love trucking it runs in the family

I got my CDL in August..mane no job is hiring me, I got a careless 11/21, failure to display both tags 10/23 accident on file 8/21 no other parties just me in my car, I got stuck and thought I needed a tow, but was able to get myself out before the towing company arrived and now that's on my record smh.. . Been to 2 orientations, completed them both, just for both companies to say the safety team has denied me and that's crazy is . The company was western Express and covenant which both hire folks with criminal backgrounds and challenging driving records

How long is the training when you first hire on?

first day apart of AFP is on the 30, taking training 9 days prior to that, Cant wait!!!!

Brah i start class oct 21st do they pay you like do you get a weekly check for going to class or nah since we have to pay out of pocket a monthly fee do they pay us bread or we don’t get any money never

I’m in North Carolina and I have a friend in trucking so I started studying to get my permit went down to the DMV got me a book and studied for a whole month. Took the test past the knowledge test on the first try then the second time I passed the air brakes and the combination test, so now I have my permit so, where do I start now?

So basically find the companies that work for Amazon. Don’t fill out the application and called them directly. Wasted 13 minutes of my time just to say that. 😂

I currently work for Amazon TOM Team or(Transportation Operations Management or Transportation Associate) I just got my CDL license through Amazon. They also will hire for TOM Team with a CDL to do Tommy Runs, it’s not a lot of OTR time, but over time you can build OTR experience. Thank you for your video.
