Just the fact your honest and real man makes people keep wanting to watch. Glad your the caliper person you are. Humble honest and actually wanting to help people learn. This is GOLD.
Thanks Les 🤝
@@SprayWayCustoms just finished painting my chevy, I got tiger stripes, what's the process to get rid of it
All facts real talk about this situation and topic

One Man Show. You are great at every step that needs to be taken for a great paint job and I love how you always emphasize the importance guide coat and blocking and the cut and buff you never half-ass it great job as usual
Thanks for the big support
I’ve said before, my favorite part of your videos is when you spray the clear. Amazing how every color changes so much with the clear laid down. You are 1 busy man. Glad business is good but remember to find time for your own projects. I look forward to an update on your truck 👍
Thanks man
You're absolutely right about always something going wrong painting. I worked as a body man and the painter wet sanded and buffed absolutely every job - he didn't even count on 1 single job coming out of the booth w/ nothing wrong. Like you said - there's always something - a bug, run, mottling, drag the hose, dirt, lazy tape job, messing it up putting it together...................... Great looking paint job my friend - enjoy the rest of the week 👍
Thanks Jerry….I don’t think I’ve had many paint jobs with no issues
@@SprayWayCustoms I think that's very common :)
Sprayway tha Goat no cap 🧢
I agree

Much appreciated
It's good to know that I'm not the only one that seems like every time I paint there's a problem, especially seeing someone else have those issues and have a great result!
For me , planning before spraying helps. Having your cups of base/ clear etc ready to go. And even rehearsing the spray sequence help avoid as much issues as possible. Also having a thermometer with humidity readings to select correct activator. Prepping the vehicle, yourself and your tools helps more than we think. And slower is faster. I would hear these guys say this on RUclips and I would overlook their comment until I found myself doing double work.
That’s true
Man I've gotta say, I never get tired of watching your videos. You've taught me so much by your descriptive step by step. One thing I did notice is your air hose wanting to get caught up on the tires. Here's a tip for you to try. Get you 4 tennis balls and put them on the corners of the tires. The air hose won't get caught up and.pinched on the tires. Works for water hoses when washing your ride too!
Ok..thanks
Wow that color is Amazing! Awesome job as always SprayWay!
Thanks again
Man, i was watching a video of a pro painter in a body shop and all that fancy stuff doing paint then i came back to your video and i feel like your videos are alot more calm and stressless to watch, love it!
They’re much calmer for sure. Those shops are straight production. Move move move. A booth is cool but that’s about it. Sprayway and true grit and underground king run their own shop. I do this on the side and rented shop space (sharing ). Ended up going back to the home with it. On your own, the only stress is what YOU bring to yourself, not a landlord that is overbearing or a shop owner that presses and rushes you. If you mess up, stop and start the next day
@@dardenvern Exactly man, i have my own painting business aswell (akimbo painting on youtube ) and ive never felt happier in my life knowing someones not watching my every move !
I really appreciate that
I am loving this color brother nice work
Thanks Pharraway
The clear sure laid down nicely on top of the base coat, the paint looks fantastic. I assume some viewers wonder what size was the metal flake and what size spray gun tip that was used ? that would be good info for the viewers to have. This car will catch other car entusiasts eye, choosing the right rims and tire combo will make it look awesome.
1.3 tip I believe he said seta 5000 gun
.006 on the flake he mention also and called it micro flake
Thanks, I mentioned it
I like this color a lot! Love the flakes 👌
Thanks 🙏🏾
Looks great! You're 100% right... Paint day never goes to plan. We just gotta be ready to dispatch the issues as quickly as they come.
That’s true
Sprayway you always drop gems, helpful tips and ideas that I never learned in trade school. Thank you for inspiring me to stay in the game. Salute the GOAT
My pleasure
Bro,I watched the video last night I can't express how amazing you are talent on top of talent ❤it 👏 kepp them coming 😊.
Thanks Wardell
Great job! I have a 1979 camaro that I'm working on restoring, and I want to spray it a gm silver and flake it with a large flake. I may have to reach out to you and get a bit of info on best way to do that. Thanks for the great videos.
Ok, no problem
What color did that base start with before adding the microflake?
It looks very similar to my '93 Fleetwood Broughm 87/WA5328 which none of the touchup paint manufacturers make anymore. I've been looking for something close but with some extra bling, kind of what you ended up with here.
It was a dark metallic gray
Hey Spray; I asked UPK how many trolls he get on his duraglass in a rust hole vid, and he said none. I looked at all the comments here, and nobody givin you hell for gettin a run. I got a thousand or more trolls for each of those things🤣🤣🤣
Lol….I get trolls every now and then but not many Billy
Always learn something watching your videos….thanks for producing them.
My pleasure
Awesome as Always...Really cool series.Pleasure to watch and learn
Thanks Drew
Another good job what air pressure do you spray your clear
Around 28-30 psi
Tuned in
Thanks
I need my vert did up by spraywaycustoms 😢
Ok then
I always say the best talent never gets all recognition the best singer the best musicians best ball players the best of everything is in a backyard with not enough recognition this goes to show even the best paint jobs can come from a guy in a garage in his backyard can do what all the big names can do keep up the great work thanks for the videos
His strongest qualities seem to be extreme patience and humility
Thanks a lot
Exceptional work buddy I love the colour.
Yeah nothing ever goes right when painting , the same painting gods must be upon both of us buddy 😂
I agree man
🔥🔥🔥🔥 consistency! Thanks for the videos. Always anticipating your videos. Feed me more!
Ok, thanks
Somehow I didn’t see this video, glad I found it.clear can run like water if you don’t let it flash or don’t have your gun dialed in. A little cut n buff(sanding) she be all right.thanks John from Arizona
Thanks for tuning in John
Sprayway finds what a normal eye cannot , on the first seal coat.....my Goodness!!! free education from the best, #nopellgrant
Thanks Dre
Should set up a Amazon referral list and link it to your description in your videos. This will give you some kick back anytime someone buys something off of your list. Thanks for the video!
Good idea! Thanks
Keep spraying Sir, your finishes are prestine. My finishes are a bit peeled, can’t trust myself yet to let it fly a bit more. More gun time I’m sure will help. I’m learning from you, thank you
Thanks Bryan
What’s the red gun you were using for clear? What needled size you using, 1.2 or 1.3
It is a IWATA Supernova WS 400 Limited Edition with a 1.3 tip
spray if we ever meet imma fight you ..... nah I'm kidding bruh... you make it look too easy tho and didn't warn nobody about how much sanding you gotta do lol my arms was swole after some door panelss
Lol…appreciate the support
That color look amazing love it.
Thanks Angel
The professor in his element. I’m having issues with my green caprice every time I paint it but it’s coming along.
Thanks man
It came out great mr. Miyagi would have been proud of you.. wax on wax off 🤣 that color is nice 👍
Thanks 🙏🏾
Yo Fam the paint job is banging even with the small runs! Can't wait for the next video!
Thanks a lot
I wrap clear plastic around my gun buddy to keep paint off you don't want to have to clean it with thinners
Ok..thanks for the info
SprayWay, what's the difference in appearance when you mix the flake with the base rather than inter coat clear or clearcoat?
It’s more gritty in basecoat than intercoat but once you cut n buff you won’t be able to tell the difference
I came up with a similar idea years ago with the light i got one you put on your head wrapped it around the cup like this. Best way i figured out to keep it clean wrap a sandwich bag on it with a rubber band just take it off and throw it away when done with each job
That's a great idea! Thanks
A tip for the light is to throw some Surandwrap on it to keep the light clean. Then you just replace it. I made my own lights off Amazon head lamps and Velcro
Ok, thanks
Hi, can you tell me the color is that’? I love this color. But I see no flake.
It’s a custom mix
Bonjour. J’aimerais savoir, si je veut cette même couleur, ou dois-je la commander et quel es le nom de la couleur s’il vous plaît j’adore! Merci
It was a custom mix color
Congrats Sprayway on your gift 🎁 great job as always
Thanks a lot
i bought a new mailbox.... i'm going to attempt pearl (ghost) flames on black laquer
Ok…let me know how it goes
@@SprayWayCustoms Mixed results, lacquer is a poor choice for learning, did better with trim black (semi flat).... Am going to make a third attempt with a lighter basecoat.... Getting the right amount of pearl is the hard part. i'm getting good at the taping and better at mirroring
Glade I came across this vid. I’ve been wondering if I could mix my .004 flake into my basecoat.
MASTER SENSAI ANOTHER BAD CREATION 👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks AE
How much you charge for paint jobs
It depends on the condition of the car
Hey can you find a ok Fox body? I want to make mine T Top...
I’ll be on the look out
Boy you bad!!! I love pearl whites. I don’t know what it is about that pearl. I want some bigger flakes on my F150. I don’t have all those classics like y’all.
Thanks, Sprayway 👍
Thank you Lloyd
I love this, thats the color i want to paint my 2000 camaro, with gold flakes. Thanks for the video. You just gain a new subscriber.
That is a super nice colour Mr. Sprayway, that Monte Carlo is looking awesome
Thanks Dean M
Beautiful flake on that boy dancing
Thanks man
Not a problem brother good to see you finally get to give it a go, that first button that put the blue light on is the setting I'm not a fan of it's a sensor turn on so wave your hand infront to turn it on and off and also if you get closer then 6inches to the panel it will do the same thing, you want to press the other button that changes the light settings and go to the one that has the outer lights and the center light on I r just the outer lights is the one i use and tilt the light all the way down so its aiming in to the middle of ur spray pattern bud, glad you like the light mate just have a play with it and see what's best for you, Tony puts the clingwrap/ sandwich wrap on his to keep it clean I'm sure he has a video on it
Thanks for the info and thanks again for the light. I didn’t know it was motion detected
@SprayWayCustoms not a problem mate anytime, happy to show my support
Love your channel man. Your accent sounds like my hometown in Jackson Tenn
Thanks man…I’m actually from Chattanooga, TN
Seems like putting that flake in a midcoat carrier or do a medium coat of clear with it and a slow activator (weather depending of course) so that flake has some time to lay down..
Man you got me ready to paint my camaro in my obs love your videos bro💪🏾✊🏽👌🏾🔥
Another smooth finish 💯 💪🏾
Thanks Mike
Thku old school forney tx
Thanks
Do you charge by the hour are the job??
The job
Love your channel man. Thanks for sharing. Subbed and liked. Love all the info😊
Thanks a lot
This is pure meditation.
Thanks 🙏🏾
Great work Sprayway, I’m tuned in for the flow coat video 💯
Appreciate you King…I’m actually not gonna flow coat this one fam..just cut n buff
@@SprayWayCustoms I’ll be looking for the video 💯
You pressure with it 👍👍
Thanks
Even the way you mask is meticulous. Your 100%, nothing gone wrong day, followed by many more is coming soon. I would have you paint my car if I lived nearby. Will be using the Urechem Soul Red Metallic in my DIY attempt very soon. However, the work you do with micro flake yields the bling I want. I could add a micro flake to the Intercoat. Any opinions or suggestions on do’s/don’t, or micro flake color are welcomed.
Thanks a lot…micro flake pretty easy to spray. You shouldn’t have a problem with it
Can I get RELENTLESS painted bruh frfr
No doubt Rich 💪🏾
@@SprayWayCustoms lets set it up
Enjoyed the video bro
Thanks
Awesome work bro 👍👍👍
Thanks Calvin
If you had a day all went right it would probly scare you as much as it would me! Keep it real brother. Thanks from Baytown....Skuf.

You right about that,it's always something when you're painting, lol. Reminds me to pray b4 I spray. Great job. Flow coat or cut n buff?
Thanks Oscar
nice job, i think i can learn some good $hit from you
When wiping down right before the color, can I use my medium dry paint thiner to get rid of finger prints and oils. Thanks
Yes you can!
Man I say let's vote for Spray Away for President. Another outstanding job.
Thanks for the big support
If you ever get a day where everything goes perfect, be sure to make a video...because that's something i've never seen myself
I agree on that
Outstanding job Spray!! You're gifted with that trade!!
Thanks Sean
Dig the Color 🎉 , Bama . If that's the worst thing that happens to you then you are a blessed man. Blessed coming in , blessed going out . Pray before you spray 🙏

Look good bro

No doubt
Hey I was thinking of buying urechem paint but I’m not sure if I can use it over shop line sealer and use shopline clear coat over it. I was wondering if you have used both together before and if I will have problems using them together since they aren’t the same brand.
Yes, you can with no problem
Great job my friend!!! Man you take pride in your work I love to see people like you. Keep up the good work my friend!!!
Thanks, will do!

Let’s go
@SWC!
One man band, No excuses! All results 💪🏾
No doubt 💪🏾
As I finish watching, 2 things:
I think you would greatly benefit by switching to a PPS setup, You dont have to spend the 3M route... Not only did it eliminate gun drips and leaky cups, But reduces the amount of thinner I use..
Personally, I dread the buffer, If i have to wetsand and Buff the whole car on a flake job, I dont even unmask, I wait 24hrs with the heaters on for at least 6, Wetsand with 800, just to knock the tops of the corners down on the flake, And slam another 2 coats of clear on it..
Spray bottle with your wax and grease remover.. Speeds up the process, Cuts down on the amount of wax and grease remover.. Material was expensive before... Now its out of sight..
And as I said in another comment... A paper tree pays for itself day one.. Best $100 I spent for equipment...
Killer color, Killer body work and attention to detail.. Sub'd..
Thanks for the great info
@@SprayWayCustoms Thanks for the incredibly humble content.. Its hard to find content that does justice for those of us who truly take pride in doing good work, not hacking stuff up....
I wrap clear plastic around my gun buddy to keep paint off you don't want to have to clean it with thinners
Thanks
Hey man, trust me if you were in Texas or by near me where I live I would hire you in a heartbeat people like you that’s what we need taking part in their job
