Noo, The Amulet of Samarkand & following two books are so funny. Bartimaeus has one of the most unique voices I've ever read in a book. I also love the other characters and the plot is great. The main character is also very interesting since is not your typical hero, he's very ambitious and selfish, really interesting to read.
I totally agree with this. In addition, if you have access to the audiobooks, they are absolutely fabulous. They are favorites in our family. We listened to them several years ago and still talk about how much we enjoyed them.

You should really give A Curse Dark as Gold a shot at some point. I've read it multiple times, and love it. It's probably my favorite fairy tale retelling ever.
I always feel so good after unhauling books because it makes my shelf look so much better and gives me room for even more books!

Supernatural is one of the best TV shows out there. :) I'm glad someone else loves it.
Well done for being heartless and getting rid of those books you don't want! Let's get that TBR to a reasonable amount! I think I might do an unhaul soon, I have a lot of books I don't think I'm ever going to read and they're just making me feel guilty.
Books here that I've read: Graveminder (good, but I read a library version and didn't buy it), Tithe (I LOVE this book! It's what got me into urban fantasy), Switched (fairly certain I read a pdf...I cant even remember the plot), the Wicked Lovely series (omg what?!? this series is brilliant!)

I only knew two books from your unhaul. I read Looking for Alibrandi like two months ago and I enjoyed it.
It's sad to get rid of books but on the other hand....Now you have more space on your bookshelves!

I think I need to do my own unhaul video! Some of these are great titles that will find their way to the hands of someone who is really excited for a new books (I like to think about getting rid of books in a positive way!)
I love the wake series. One of my faves! Hate to see the Gone book go but hopefully you'll pick it back up. I read them like 4 years ago! Loved them
I gasped when you said Out of the Silent Planet and Perelandra. I've not read either, but just grabbed Out of the Silent Planet from the library book sale. I love CS Lewis and that is such a sleek cover! Weird though, that it is just those two, as there are three in the series. I've seen Looking for Alibrandi, but have not read it. Not sure it would be worth it now, since I would be a bit spoiled from the film.
It was interesting seeing the Wicked Lovely series. I started reading it in high school and absolutely loved it though I've never been able to find the complete series to finish it.
Little Women is online as it is public domain. The CS Lewis scifi books are public domain in some countries.

I am about to get rid of a ton of books from my shelf.In our town there is a community book swap at one of the local shopping centre's!I am not going to swap my books though I am just going to leave what I have there for someone else to enjoy.
No!! Don't get rid of fairest! It's so amazing! I love it! And it's such a fast read! It's so good! I haven't heard of any of the other ones though. So I think you did a pretty good job of cleaning of books out of you don't think your ever going to read them. But fairest is so good!

I feel like I need to do an unhaul too. There are so many books that I own that I know I will probably never read. If I do I will make a video like yours though I think it is cool and different when you do an unhaul cuz we all haul so much!
Out of the Silent Planet is so good.
If you are willing, you should keep Switched by Amanda Hocking. The Trylle Trilogy is wonderful. You would love it! I'm planning on re-reading it this year and I recently purchased Frostfire which is the first book in a new series set in the same world.
Give it a go!
I'm also donating some of my books. Not so much to any libraries, but a handful of charities. Though I will be trying to sell some of the better/more expensive books locally.
Glimmer was actually a really good book. It was one of my favorites that I read in 2016. I agree with Supernatural One Year Gone though, that's probably one of my least favorite of the supernatural books.
You really have to read C.S.Lewis's space trilogy! It's one of the philosophically deepest series I've ever read and extremely creative.

i have been reading "tempest" for aaaaaages. i have been close to giving up on it several times but have decided even if i read it in chunks, i won't let it beat me! lol but yeah that's a safe one to unhaul for sure.

Oh, it's a shame you're getting rid of One Year Gone, it's probably one of my favourite SPN books. It shows a completely different angle on Dean and Lisa, and made me love her character so much (I used to ship them so hard, shhhh)- Also, it deals with some serious stuff like depression, alcohol dependency and stuff, which they never really comment on on the show. You should read it some time in the future when you feel like it.

I mention this at the end of the video, I might try selling some, but I'll be donating the rest. I don't have the money to ship these across the world. Last time I sent 2 books to different places it cost me over $70 all up :S

I just finished reading the Trylle trilogy. Her cover of Switched was so pretty! I have got to say though, I may end up getting rid of my set of the Trylle books, too. It was okay, but I don't know if it's something I'll ever read again. What did you like about the series?

Loki did grow on me, I've got to admit that. It's a good quality to have! Finding the good in a book, that is. As long as you enjoy it, it doesn't matter what others think! :) Hey, you may even get someone else to read a book they wouldn't have!
I read the dragon's eye ! I read it in french and it was so bad, I did not like at all, it was not interesting, I don't know if it was because of the french translation... But the cover was beautiful.
After all the time and money spent on getting the Wicked Lovely series...ahhh!
