Week in Cyprus 🇨🇾 - part 1

This was my very first time going to Cyprus, and, having done a trip to Corfu (a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away), I'm hoping that my next trip anywhere near Greece will be the actual mainland. But that's a daydream for another time, for a future me.
I've done a lot of walking (because I find that's one of the best ways to immerse myself into the new locality), haven't put enough sunscreen on the first day (as you do), visited a lot of amazing places, seen some amazing scenery, tried some absolutely stunning foods, talked to so many lovely people. And I most definitely enjoyed the weather, which was an absolute beauty - and a great change to the usual greyness of my home town at this time of the year! The only time I caught the rain was when the plane started to take its speed for taking off to take us back.
This was also the sort of holiday where I've learned - not just of history and the local customs, but also about myself, and what I want to do, and how I want to do the things. Pfft, look at me rumbling!
Whilst editing the vid, I've also realised that my camerawork still needs massive overhaul. One day, we'll all wake up to me posting a National Geographic-worthy masterpiece (I wish!) But today is not that day.
