3yr old becomes youngest ever to surf overhead Jbay, Crossovers with a legit World Champ included!!

Remi Petersen and Ocean Willow have been making quite a name for themselves amongst the surfers and visitors at Jbay over the past year with their Tandem Surfing Antics. Having its origins in Hawaii, Tandem Surfing celebrates the ancient practice of riding waves and getting in touch with Kanaloa, one of the four major gods of the ancient Hawaiian religion. This two-to-a-board surfing activity gained additional attention when, in the 1920s, Duke Kahanamoku and the Waikiki beach boys started taking attractive mainland female tourists for a ride in the gentle waves and, still continues to this very day on the same waves at Waikiki. From starting out on tiny waves at The Point to Charging overhead Supertubes with her Stepdads friends Dylan Lightfoot and Steven Sawyer, Ocean has emerged from every session brimming with smiles and frothing for more. The confidence and trust they have going between them is just mind-blowing. Is it a coincidence that Stephanie Gilmore left behind a Soft top for little Ocean last year during the WSL comp in Jbay? Is it a sign of things to come for this brave little girl? We've been following this duo closely for a while now stacking up the clips and with the recent arrival of her little sister Alaia Mae we thought it an appropriate time to show off our littlest super talented Jbay frother!
