Love Katie Phang. She gives no sympathy to Hicks. In another show, she said that Hicks is as guilty as all the others for helping Trump carry out his agenda. She knew what he was about and she stuck around until the end.

Katie is correct with her assessment. Hope Hicks "WALL OF TEARS" testimony was a show for Trumps benefit. She KNEW she had to tell the truth so she "put up the wall" (Tears) to show Trump that she didn't want to do it but HAD to do it (tell the truth of what exactly happened) so he wouldn't view her testimony as a betrayal to him and that she was "forced" to do so (so he wouldn't hold it against "HER"). There's no diubt that Katie's opinion was anything but genuine! Nobody should let the tears get in the way of who Hope Hicks really is.
Lawrence O'Donnell, in his commentary on "the Last Word", got to the point of the matter in his analysis of Hope Hicks. The point being, what is moral and what is self-serving, self-promotion by an entitled, rich, conventionally pretty woman? Her response to Trump's, "grab them by the p...y" tape was, "deny, deny, deny." A person, a woman at that, with a different character and a stronger moral compass, would have, should have, quit the Trump team in outrage. The real problem is us...a society that expects little gets little. A media that seeks the superficial (her tears) is complicit by the standards it chooses for its reporting. Hope Hick's should spill tears when, and if, she ever sees what she really is; corrupt in act and thought. Thank you, Katie Phang for your insights, which are also spot on.
