Watching this video brought back some great memories, Vinnie called me "concert Mike" and I was always invited to his Sunday Fundays as he called them. Watching this video, I can still hear Bridog's crazy jokes and the rockers and metal heads that were there, music was always playing on the speakers and if it was game day, Vinnie's Dallas Stars or his Dallas Cowboys would be on every TV in his house and outside too. Those were some amazing times that will never happen again.

It's sad they ended up demolition the place. Losing Vin rushed back all the emotions that I experienced with Dimes tragic murder. It was like losing another longtime, great friend with invested time and history that will never have any new exciting events or new stories. There's just that sick emptied feeling that can't or won't be filled right again, as is those brothers or the fun they created or their amazingly unique brand of music that was Pantera and stamped on the map, a legacy forever recognized around the world. [Side note] You mentioning the Dallas Stars brought back fond but also painful memories for me. Reasoning for this is I'm a Minnesotan. I'm 52, and I was a huge Minnesota Northstars hockey fan through and through and was both shocked along with devastated by the sudden loss of our team, sadly ironic Minnesota is known as "the state of hockey" when Norm moved them down to Texas. So yeah, I've healed my emotional state of loss over it some lol. Well, I'm greatfull Texans appreciate and love having them as Dallas Stars hockey team, as I take comfort from that. Thank you for sharing. Good luck in all your future endeavors. Stay safe out there. 🤘😎👍

It’s so desolate and sad. It emits such a sense that the good times are gone, the party’s over. We’re all ageing, our heroes are either dead, retired or sober and that era of indescribable heavy metal magic and brotherhood is just a memory. I could cry.
I imagine a modern rock star’s house wouldn’t have the bars and stuff. Probably a smoothie maker, yoga room and mindfulness suite.

Built in 1995 last sold for $750,000 to be torn down....Either bought by a super wealthy person who can afford to tear down a perfectly good home. Or the house has mold damage or shoddy construction by shyster builder & isn't structurally sound anymore.....The other homes nearby look more solid built & nice but contemporary. His looks more Hollywood-ish, I wouldn't be surprised if the contracter knew he was building a home for a rich rock star & decided to cut major corners but made the finished home look good. Looks like lots of low quality drywall & 2x4s.

I remember seeing this house years ago and what always struck me was both Dime and Vinnie's homes while nice, were not overly opulent at all and more functional for handling their business (party/jamming) and I always thought that was badass in and of itself! I think that kind of speaks to who they were, down to earth Texas boys, salt of the earth with a side of insanity! lol RIP!

I did blow in the bookcase room back in 2003. The room behind the mirror was his video security room for the entire property. Yes, there was probably a camera behind that mirror. Yes, there was probably video of 21yr old me doing blow with nekkid women somewhere. It is what it is lol. He also had the jam room upstairs on the opposite side of the house from the game room, if I recall correctly. I played his kit a few times and some of Dime's guitars on a Randall half stack. I jammed with the dude Shawn "ST" from Dimevision Vol: 1. The dude that got the whistle chaser(we call them something else in Texas) to the ass while sleeping on the floor at Dime's. The same dude that orders Girl Scout cookies with Dime in Dimevision Vol:2. He passed away a few years after Dime did. He was the first bassist for Damageplan, technically. That's the guy they recorded the demos with, which Vince played for us one night. It didn't even have vocals mixed in yet, but I think Pat was there TO record them. I met Pat the night Vince played the demos, so it would make sense. They were all really cool every time I went over there. I must've partied there 6-7 times before December 2004. I never went back. Spent the night in the guest room by the pool and kitchen area once and almost lost my job bc of it. Worth it. Edit: the wet bar by the kitchen was a sitting area last time I was there. It had gold and platinum records on the walls. He must've remodeled that at some point. It's the same space they all did the VH1 "Pantera: Behind the Music" interviews in. It had a jukebox and some couches in it back then.

It definitely needed work. It's too bad they tore it down regardless.

I mean he passed in 2018. Pretty sure the house has been defunct ever since. After his girl moved everything out it's been at least 5 years of just sitting there. Highly doubt it looked like this while he was alive.

To the guy that filmed this. Do you watch TV or movies this way? Turn your phone sideways when filming and in more instances take pictures.

All those backstage tour passes, the * (what looked like a metal): hell yeah logo in the closet.,,the legendary toilet seat? WTF?

The people who bought the house were buying it for the property as it sits on top of the highest point in the area. It’s said that most people thought it was a eyesore and tacky compared to most structures in the whole area.
