Abbey of Gethsemani Advent Shipping Season

The monks of Gethsemani work all year long making fruitcake in various sizes and fudge in various flavours. When December comes around, almost the entire year's production goes out the door in a few weeks. Every able-bodied monk helps out in the shipping. We do not hire anyone to do this work - our products are made, packaged, boxed, labelled, and handed off to the Post Office entirely by the monks here at Gethsemani. We at the abbey are very grateful to the customers who order our products. There is a space on each label for a customized message, if the customer wants one. The most common word in these messages is "love." We feel privileged to be the link between people showing their love for one another through the gift of our products.
