I was there that night with my daughter and three of her friends. Over 75K people. This was the 4th TS concert we had attended When this rock version started, everyone went crazy, especially all the old guys. Best concert ever! We will be at the Sydney concert in Feb 2024! Its going to be epic once again. She needs to release a rock album.
76,000 that's how many people were in attendance! it was huge and she completely reworked her old songs so that they could fit the style/theme of the 1989 album.
"She is special" Absolutely. Undeniably. I am so happy for her that, professionally, at least, she is on top of the world. I hope she is able to find everything she wants.
I’m love this performance. She kicked that songs ass..As a live performer you can’t take your eyes off of her. And that is not just about her looks. She has that rare charisma that means she can hold a stadium of 60 000 people in the palm of her hand for 3 hours and she utterly owns them….. Somebody described her as the Springsteen of her era and they might not be far wrong….
So, when she was 19 she did a cable country music show called Crossroads --- with Def Leopard. A full set of both bands on stage, working together.. Also, behind the scenes and interviews of both.
@@lesuaz If anything, they would have been on Fearless; but there weren't any _new_ songs from either party. I liked the show a lot, and she _could_ have maybe gotten them to do a duet with her, but collabs at a distance were new to her with folklore. Maybe she'll invite them to one of her homes to write a new song? Or, when she slows down a bit, maybe there will be a music festival they are both at.
She also did I Knew You Were Trouble in a similar way, at the same, 1989, tour. There is also medley/mash up (I am sorry, I still don't know which is which) from reputation tour of Bad Blood (1989) and Should've Said No (self-titled). I am not good with like defininig genres, but some of the stuff on her debut and Speak Now album is I think country rock or pop rock, so if you don't mind the country element, I would recommend for example, Picture To Burn (live from Fearless tour), Haunted or Better Than Revenge.
You would really enjoy her NBC special live performance of Haunted if you're into metal. The instrumentals are so similar to symphonic black metal, and they were arranged by Paul Buckmaster's brilliant mind. The performance is in the house that the movie Psycho was filmed, which makes it that much better lol. I've always been primarily into anything that falls under the rock/metal umbrellas, and this was always my favorite song of hers. ruclips.net/video/VP1Af4c6OUU/видео.html&feature=shares
