Not all mosaic tiles are created equal!
My biggest word of advice when it comes to choosing a mosaic: Make sure you can see the actual tile
These floor tiles look good 👍 Emporio Green Onyx Basket Weave - bit.ly/3uXn1Mx
If all you see is glue.....then I would advise buying something else
Its very important to NOT select tiles like this for a shower where water will penetrate below tile
I've seen many tile failures from tiles popping off mat years later

Here is a good one for you BRT. As per usual a bit of off subject on my behalf but I think you are the man to ask. So, I was working at customers house, wrapping up what Einsteins left loose and one of the tasks was to attach AC vents to the wall. They installed tiles and did not put registers back. Same case in two bathrooms. One I did with no problems with Milwaukee diamond bit and went to the other. This bathroom had different tile. A subway style vs 24x12 in the other one where I was successful. For the love of god this tile did not let me drill in it. I got the bit to glow but nothing. Tried regular masonry bit, nothing. Took my dremel style tool with tiny diamond blade to it and thought to notch it out, nothing. Destroyed the blade in a jiffy. Small diamond chunks were flying everywhere. In the end I had to risk all or nothing and used chisel and literally broke off chunks. I could have easily created tile to crack across. Luckily the register cover just barely covered my butchery. What kind of tile was that, do you know? You must have some experience with kryptonite style tiles. Omg moment for me for sure. Would love to learn to avoid it in the future. Thanks!

Yeah some porcelains are crazy dense. Sometimes you go through a new bit every other hole. I always use the diamond plus kind of bits. The spade ones will get destroyed instantly on stuff like that. amzn.to/3Tv9Fzo
