I thought I'd let you know what's going on and why I haven't been producing videos. I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes as well as your loyalty and support. Thank you.
My dear Veteran,you are such a special human being,Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.My dear brother has just been diagnosed with cancer . We are a vey close family and it's a difficult time for us but the only thing that keeps us going is our faith. My brother only plea is to have more time to share with us and to serve God. Praying has been the best way for us to have hope and as you said he is doing the best he can to fight back and overcome his illness and we leave the rest to God because when you believe you know that you are never alone.God bless you and all the people that need a prayer. We have a 47 year old Profoundly Disabled adult child. Never once have I said.. "Why us?" "Why me?"... Why NOT us? Why NOT me?
Maybe it happened because we can cope with it, whereas others may not. And, it has made me a better person than the selfish person I was in my younger days.
We don't get out of life, without trials to test us. I shall fight for our child, to my last breath, or theirs.

Thank you. I went to the doctor for the first time in many, many years today. It looks like I will be going to many doctors, but that is life. I will be married 51 years in September. Many blessings on you and your wife.
I watch your channel and identify with you. I’m a Christian, I’m 76 and I think Amira and Emma are both amazing. 😊 when I feel like complaining about what’s going on in life I just think of a couple of Hollanders , Cory Ten Boom and Emma Kok. I have no reason to complain. When I was 31 I had some heart irregularities. One nite it just stopped and I saw Jesus and felt just how Gods love felt like. It is indescribable. This experience left me here and wishing I was there. My perspective is a little different. I don’t want to spend a lot of money on drugs that make you feel terrible just to stay out of heaven a little longer. I won’t fight it. I have a hard time waiting for the end. May God bless. 🙏

I too have a lot of different health issues. Heart, stroke, several Tias, cholesterol, kidneys, arthritis throughout my body, right knee swelling, migraines and pain.
But I power through each as best I can. And thank God for my wonderful daughter. She is my daughter, caregiver, health advocate and power of attorney.
My brother was also in Vietnam in the army. Henry Pierce (Hank). He had a major stroke in 2000 and then a major heart attack in 2002. I miss him but know he's in heaven with my parents and both my sisters.

Thanks for taking the time to update. I agree with your approach, I'm of the same mindset, do our part and give it to God. Take care of your health first, if that means fewer reactions, so be it. Amen my friend. Hopefully they can insert a filter to lessen the risk of it moving upward. Praise God that your wife is cancer free. God knows our beginning from our end. He knows the exact day he will call us home. You are in our prayers for complete healing! You know most likely the song, I Will Praise You In The Storm, and I will lift my hands because I know who you are! In Jesus mighty name, be well .

I do believe we all have a life purpose when we live this human life and It should be to be happy, to enjoy your life as such as you can being the best version you can be.
Life is a gift and we all should love it in spite of the bad things happen to us ...all the things we live have a purpose and probably our task is to discover why these things happen and take the positive side to learn and be a better person..or at least try to be..
I do believe we do not die..we are eternal and our esence, our soul/ spirit/concience will be alive when our physical body dies.

Because in 2014 I had Hep C it tried to kill me ..but every day I got up, got dressed and asked to go to the chapel. I sat in the chapel and talked to God. Then I would go back to my room. Nurses came in and said are you going home and everyday for 16 days I said, Nope not Today. They always asked, why are you getting dressed everyday... I would say... I went to church. God bless you & your wife.

Hello Paul, I wish your next appointment with the hematologist is positive, I really do. And I also want to congratulate you and your wife on your 52nd anniversary in 3 days. Two months ago we celebrated our 25th anniversary. Lately, when I've had a health issue, I've thought of all the people who suffer in this world, sometimes of Emma, because I am not different and I don't wonder anymore; why me? I also believe that illness and death are a part of life, and we must fight the things we can change and accept the things we can't change. My best wishes and keep the spirit high 👋
Paul: As a Christian I share some of your thoughts. I had a brain hemorrhage but because of my pace-maker I can't have MIRs so the cardiologist would not give me blood thinners and said there was nothing he could do for me, but that I was a high risk candidate for another. That was over eight years ago and in the Lord's providence I'm still ok. I'm 78 and today is our 47th wedding anniversary. We are members of a Strict Baptist Church with a firm confidence in God's sovereignty in all things. Our Christian love to you both and hope you will be able to continue your interest in Amira and Emma Kok. JOE.

I'm 65 widowed and have had numerous health issues since l was 13. Epilepsy, ibs, afib and 2 types of cancer. I found it wasn't the cancer that changed me but the treatment. I have made the conscious decision to donate my body to science as well. I figured with all my issues maybe somehow they may find a cure. I will look up the body farm. Prayers to you and your wife.
I had a stroke at 24 years old. I was diagnosed with Lupus. I thought at the time why me God? But I learned a very important lesson over the years. There is ALWAYS someone worse off than you. It can always be worse than it what you are experiencing. I learned to be grateful for each day

Many years ago, I had a friend who found out she had an aggressive form of breast cancer while she was pregnant. God granted her 5 years of remission before he took her home. During those years, she did some public speaking, and I will never forget this quote from her, "I knew that God would heal me one of three ways: He would divinely heal my body, He would heal me through the doctors, or He would take me home and heal me there." Thank you for keeping us updated. My prayers continue for you and all those you love (which seems to me to be everyone God created).

it is part of the nature of this planet... everything lasts for a while and goes away, even our wonderful Sun and even our planet Earth will die... I believe that death is an interval between one life and another... no, not even I am afraid of death, but I always ask God to give me a dignified death... I understand that death was also created by God, therefore, there is a wise and fair purpose for the existence of death... it is sad when someone that we love goes away, but faith in God's wisdom gives us strength... I also think that only God knows the day of our death and that our duty is to always fight to live because that teaches us to be wise.A big hug

I'm getting better. The doctor told me that the vein that the clot is in is superficial and those never break loose and travel. Plus it's small. I'm hoping to do some reactions today.

Just take care of yourself Paul, we will be here when you get back. For those who wonder why God allows bad things to happen to good people there is a book by C.S. Lewis called The Problem With Pain. Many may recognize him as an author of fantasy novels. What many may not know is that he was also a devout Christian as well as somewhat of a philosopher. This is a fairly short and easy to read book which may give you some ideas and perspectives that you may not have thought of. As I have since you told us of your condition, I will keep you in my prayers Paul.❤
